Abstract

This study aimed 1) to find out how to design Android -based English learning media on descriptive text material, 2) to determine the feasibility of Android -based English learning media on descriptive text material at MTS N 2 Surakarta. This study used research and development (R & D) research methods with the research procedure model proposed by Dick and Carey and the ADDIE model consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection techniques were through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Feasibility validation was carried out by media experts, material experts, and English teachers from MTs N 2 Surakarta. Data analysis was using a Likert scale to determine the percentage score of the media feasibility and passes black box testing. The results of this study were 1) to produce an Android -based English learning media on descriptive text material. From the results of the black box testing carried out, the learning media could be operated properly on Android smartphones according to their needs and functions, 2) the feasibility of Android . based English learning media on descriptive text material according to the assessment of media experts was to get a feasibility percentage of 76% with a feasible category, assessment from material experts was to get a feasibility percentage of 82% with a very decent category, and the feasibility assessment by ant English teacher at MTs N 2 Surakarta was to get a feasibility percentage of 80% with a decent category.

Abstract

The security of housing when the occupants leave for their activities is a top priority that must be met by most people, the purpose of developing a tool in this study is to utilize a Smart Room with an ESP32 microcontroller based on a Web Server as a research basis for housing security for people when they leave. by the occupants. The ESP32 microcontroller, which can be programmed via the Arduino IDE, is then used for a lamp that allows homeowners to control the lamp remotely. The mechanism of the Smart room system is that when the homeowner wants to turn on or turn off the lights, the homeowner only needs to access the Web Server so that he doesn't have to go home to turn it on.

Abstract

There are still many people who are not aware of disposing of waste in its place, including littering, one of which is in irrigation canals which can clog the channels and the many types of waste that can be found. To reduce waste in irrigation canals, an automatic waste separator was made. This automatic waste separator aims to transport waste in irrigation canals using two stages of conveyors, namely conveyor 1 for conveying lines from under water and conveyor 2 for waste separation lines, after which the waste is separated. according to the category, namely by using an inductive proximity sensor for Metal Waste and will be separated by using a servo motor, for non-metallic waste will be allowed to run on conveyor 2 then the waste is put into a trash can which can be monitored by ultrasonic sensors to see the height of the contents of the bin the trash. Monitoring this garbage separator uses the NodeMCU ESP 8266 WIFI as a connector with the BLYNK application to see whether the contents of the trash can are full or not by the cleaning officer on duty then the full trash can will be replaced with an empty trash can with monitoring control via BLYNK.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to predict the poverty rate in Maluku Province in 2021-2025 using the Exponential Smoothing method. The Exponential Smoothing method is a moving average forecasting method that gives exponential or multilevel weight to the latest data so that the latest data will get greater weight. The data in this study were sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics for Maluku Province. In this study, the results obtained were a comparison of several Exponential Smoothing methods, namely Simple Exponential Smoothing, Brown Linear Trend, and Holt Linear Trend. The best method for forecasting poverty levels in Maluku Province was obtained, namely the Holt Linear Trend Exponential Smoothing method with MAPE (3.251), RMSE (1.057), and MAE (0.722) values. Therefore, the poverty rate in Maluku Province is estimated at 18.14 in 2021, 18.29 in 2022, 18.44 in 2023, 18.59 in 2024, and 18.74 in 2025 with intervals between 4.46 and 33.02.

Abstract

Banking is an important part of the financial system for smoothly running a country's economic activities. Quality of service is a form of consumer assessment of the level of service, and the factors that influence service quality include factors of employees, systems, technology, and customer involvement. Banking services are carried out to make it easier for customers to make transactions. The needs faced by customers cause the spending of money at the bank to be often not properly controlled. For example, for money withdrawn in large or small amounts for daily needs, fuzzy logic is used to make it easier for customers to know the amount of money spent each month. Given these problems, the authors are motivated to do further research in solving the case with the fuzzy method. Based on the data obtained from the bank, by utilizing fuzzification, fuzzy inference, and fuzzy rule base, as well as defuzzification of fuzzy logic, fuzzy logic can be applied to determine the amount of money spent. The research results show nine sales functions (Membership Function) from two input parameters, namely withdrawal of money and remaining balance. The linguistic variables used are Little Expenditure, Moderate Expenditure, Much Expenditure, Little Balance, Moderate Balance, and Many Balance.
