Abstract

IN 2013, the World Health Organization, released data in the form of Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) worldwide, and the number reached 289,000 per 100, 000 live births, which 99% of cases occurred in developing countries. Research aims to discover the relationship of antenatal class towards mothers’ knowledge of the dangerous sign during pregnancy. Abstract

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a condition after giving birth, the situation is the main cause result in psychological stress which is characterized to hallucinate, memory disturbances, avoidance, and excessive alertness. This study, identify scientific and clinical views of the results of previous studies, to provide a baseline in identifying the factors that cause traumatic events after childbirth. The method used is a scoping review which consists of 5 stages, namely: focus review, conducting a literature search, determining several relevant studies, conducting critical assessments, tracing various data, analyzing and reporting results. PRISMA flowchart (Optional Reporting Items for Systematic and Meta-analysis) was used in the literature search. 12 selected literature and graded (A). The results showed that there are several factors that cause symptoms of PTSD after childbirth including cesarean delivery, service by health workers, previous experience of childbirth history and women having a history of psychosocial disorders.

Abstract

The centre of rotation position is a factor that needs to be controlled to avoid artefact in CT scan. A method to evaluate the performance of CT system is needed. The method is developed using x-ray micro-CT system and evaluated based on Digital Image Correlation (DIC). The method of this research is experiment.  The multiple radiographs are obtained from scanning object by simulation and experiment. The results show that the ideal DIC profile value of radiograph image from simulation is a constant straight line for every size variation of the object. However, from the experiment, the result show deviation toward –y for every size variation of the object that indicate the shift of COR position in micro-CT system. The result also similar using centre of mass profile value as comparison.

Abstract

Hysterosalpingography (HSG) is the most commonly used imaging diagnostic to determine the tubal patency in patient with indications of infertility. The technique used in the HSG procedure is different in some studies. The aim of this study was to determine the technique of hysterosalpingography (HSG) examination with patients suspected of infertility in dr.R. Soetrasno Rembang hospital. The method was a case study approach. Results showed HSG examination using plain photo Anteroposterior (AP) projection, AP projection with 3 cc contrast media and 7 cc contrast media, then post evacuation. The AP projection already revealed uterus, fallopian tubes, spill on the peritoneum, reduce radiation dose, and the pain of patients. They used 3 cc and 7 cc of contrast media because the examination did not use fluoroscopy. The 3 cc of contrast media views the uterus only then 7 cc view the fallopian tube and its spill. HSG plays a crucial role to determine the cause of infertility, especially to evaluate the morphology and patency of the fallopian tubes in women so the radiology team should become familiar with examination techniques used, give the patient education to avoid movement, and hold their body motionless also taking a mild pain reliever before the HSG examination.
