Abstract

Islamic education in Indonesia has a unique characteristic, namely the ability to adapt to local cultures without losing Islamic values, as seen in the concept of Islam Nusantara. Through this approach, Islam has been widely accepted in Indonesia, especially through the role of Walisongo, who utilized various cultural media, such as arts and Islamic boarding schools (Pondok Pesantren). Pondok Pesantren Al-Hasaniyah in Kedawon Brebes is one such institution that integrates Islamic teachings with local culture through the Islam Nusantara concept. This study aims to describe and analyze the concept of Islamic education at Pondok Pesantren Al-Hasaniyah from the Islam Nusantara perspective using a qualitative descriptive method, with data collected through interviews and documentation. The findings reveal that Pondok Pesantren Al-Hasaniyyah implements Islamic education oriented toward Nusantara values. Values such as mutual cooperation (gotong royong), simplicity, and tolerance are consistently practiced to shape students who are religious, independent, and tolerant. Additionally, national values are taught to instill a spirit of nationalism among students. Aswaja principles such as tasamuh (tolerance), tawazun (balance), and tawasuth (moderation) serve as the primary guidelines in shaping students’ character, enabling them to coexist harmoniously in a diverse society.

Abstract

"Development of Picture Card Media to Improve Numeracy Literacy in Children Aged 4-5 Years". This research is a type of research and development. The development model used was adapted from the Brog and Gall development model. This research was carried out in the following steps: (1) Preliminary study or field observation; (2) Research planning; (3) Initial product development; (4) Limited field testing; (5) Revision of field test results; (6) Product suitability for learning; (7) Revise the results of the feasibility test of the product itself; and (8) Revision of field products. The media developed was validated by 1 material expert and 1 media expert before being tested on children. The test subjects for this research were 20 children. 2 children during individual trials, 8 children during small group trials, and 10 children during field trials. The instruments used to collect data are interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis techniques used in this research are qualitative and quantitative data. Qualitative data was obtained from product quality assessments in the form of suggestions from material experts, media experts and accompanying teachers. Quantitative data are scores obtained from questionnaires filled in by media experts, material experts, the instruments used are validity instruments for material experts and media experts in the form of checklists and evaluation sheets. The results of the research show that from the validation results the learning aspect obtained a score of 3.5 (good criteria), the content aspect 3.75 (good criteria), and the display aspect obtained a score of 4.17 (very good criteria), and the user aspect 3.75 ( good criteria). From these results, it can be concluded that picture card media as an educational learning medium for the abilities of children aged 4-5 years is suitable for use as a source of children's learning to make it easier for children to learn to tell stories and speak.

Abstract

This study looks at how school culture affects the standard of instruction at SMA Negeri 1 Krian in Sidoarjo Regency. The distinctive qualities and personality of a school that influence the learning environment, student motivation, and involvement are referred to as its school culture. The relationship between learning quality and school culture was examined using a quantitative methodology. School culture has a significant influence on the learning process, based on the ANOVA test which produced a significance value of 0.000 < (0.05). A student's character is shaped and their educational experience is enhanced by factors including school rules, extracurricular activities, and acknowledging student accomplishments. This study emphasizes how crucial it is to develop a positive school culture in order to provide a helpful and productive learning environment, which will ultimately raise the standard of instruction and improve student results

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of project-based learning planning on students' critical thinking skills. Using a quantitative research method with an experimental approach, this study involved high school students divided into an experimental group that applied project-based learning and a control group that used conventional learning methods. The results showed a significant improvement in critical thinking skills in the experimental group. These findings indicate that project-based learning can be an effective alternative for enhancing students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the use of school libraries as learning resources. In writing this article, the author used a type of literature or library research. This research collects in-depth information and data through literature, books, magazines, appropriate previous research results, as well as other references in order to obtain answers and theoretical foundations regarding the problems studied. The data collection technique applied in this research is by collecting data from scientific works in the form of books, journals, magazines, theses and various other scientific papers both online and offline. The library data obtained is then collected and processed through editing, organizing and finding processes. The research results show that: 1) the use of the library as a learning resource seen from the intensity of visits is 2-3 times a week. The types of activities carried out include assignment activities from teachers, collection utilization activities, and facility utilization activities. 2) Factors that influence the level of library utilization are library comfort, completeness of collections, availability of facilities, library services, and also the interests and needs of visitors. 3) The advantages of libraries are that the space design is not monotonous, complete collections, complete facilities and infrastructure, and good service. Meanwhile, the weaknesses are the slow renewal of competition supporting collections, the slow repair of problematic facilities.

Abstract

Islamic education curriculum is a design or study program related to Islamic Religious Education materials or lessons, learning process objectives, methods and approaches and evaluation forms. The research method in this research is library research through collecting data from books and articles related to the Concept and Theory of Islamic Education Curriculum, using descriptive analysis. The curriculum as an educational design, has a central position, determining educational activities and outcomes. Its preparation requires a strong foundation, based on the results of deep thought and research. A weak curriculum will produce weak humans as well. The Islamic education curriculum is Islamic education materials in the form of activities, knowledge and experiences that are deliberately and systematically given to students in order to achieve the goals of Islamic education. The Islamic education curriculum includes three very important issues, namely: the problem of faith (aqidah), the problem of Islam (shari'ah), and the problem of ihsan (morals). The curriculum as an educational design, has a central position, determining educational activities and results. Its preparation requires a strong foundation, based on the results of in-depth thinking and research.

Abstract

This research is motivated bythe low memory of some students when students are asked to repeat the material given the previous week, many are still fumbling. Then the results of observations found that the majority of students paid little attention when the teacher taught, indicating a lack of interest and understanding in fiqh lessons. Student learning outcomes scores are still below the minimum completeness criteria. The aim of this research is to determine whether the mind mapping learning method in fiqh subjects has a significant influence on students' memory at MTsN 5 West Pasaman regarding the material on halal and haram food provisions. This research is a quantitative research, the research design used isQuasi Experiment. The sample for this research was class VIII students at MTsN 5 West Pasaman with a sample size of 58 students. The research sample is class VIII. C experiment using the mind mapping method and class VIII. A control with conventional methods. The data analysis technique uses the Normality Test with the Shapiro Wilk formula, and the homogeneity test with the Fisher test followed by hypothesis testing with the paired sample t test. The research results show that based on the results of data processing it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on the application of the mind mapping method as these results prove that the value of the experimental class Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 While research alpha = 5% or 0.05. This means that the Sig value. (2-tailed) is smaller than the alpha value (0.0000.05) so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there is an influence of the mind mapping method on students' memory in the MTsN 5 West Pasaman fiqh class VIII material on halal and haram food provisions.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative research with an experimental research method. The design of this research is One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The aim is to (1) determine the effect of ethnophysics of traditional musical instruments Gandrang Bulo on sound wave material on the interest in learning physics in class XI students at SMAS Bukit Tinggi (2) To determine the level of interest in learning physics with the application of ethnophysics media of traditional musical instruments Gandrang Bulo on sound wave material in class XI students at SMAS Bukit Tinggi. The subjects of this study were class IX students in the even semester of 2023/2024. This study was conducted in 5 meetings and data collection was carried out using multiple-choice tests that had been tested for validity. The research data were analyzed quantitatively using IBM SPSS Version 29. From the research results, it can be concluded that (1) The description of the level of interest in learning physics with the application of ethnophysical media of the traditional musical instrument Gandrang Bulo on the indicator of feelings of pleasure is in the high category, the attention category is in the low category, while in the interest category it is in the high category. (2) There is an influence of ethnophysics of the traditional musical instrument Gandrang Bulo on the material of sound waves on interest in learning, which can be seen from the average Ngain experiencing an increase in the high level.

Abstract

Islamic education has a significant role in encouraging positive social change. This article explains how Islamic education is not just a process of learning religious values but also has a role as the main driver for changing the paradigm, behavior and social life of society. By understanding Islamic teachings about education as an instrument of change, this article also explains the contribution of Islamic education in empowering society, overcoming social problems and forming characters with integrity. The method used is a kind of information from the library. Aims to discover several aspects, starting from the concept of Islamic education, community empowerment through education, the role of religious values in overcoming social problems, to the practical implementation of Islamic education in contemporary social contexts. In the context of contemporary challenges, this article highlights how Islamic education responds to and overcomes various contemporary problems including globalization, social injustice and intercultural and interreligious conflicts. By exploring the role of Islamic education in promoting the values of tolerance, concord and harmony, this article emphasizes the importance of implementing religious teachings in society to drive sustainable and positive social change.

Abstract

The use of Duolingo application is one of the alternatives that can be used in language learning, one of which is Arabic listening learning. This study aims to describe the learning process by using the Duolingo application. As a learning media. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive method. This research was conducted at an Integrated Islamic Primary School in Padang class involving 35 students. Data were obtained from observation and student interviews. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the learning process through the duolingo application can be used as an alternative for teachers to increase students' learning independence and practice listening skills This shows that the use of Duolingo can be an alternative media for learning Arabic.
