Abstract

This study evaluates how implementing the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System affects marketing performance and product quality at PT Timah Tbk. The company faced production fluctuations in 2023, leading to a sharp revenue decline and significant losses. Using a quantitative descriptive approach with a survey method, the research analyzes data from employees and management. The findings show that ISO 9001:2015 implementation positively impacts product quality (path coefficient = 0.9867) and quality management (path coefficient = 0.9036). The R-Square value indicates that ISO 9001:2015 explains 81.64% of product quality improvements, while product quality accounts for 97.38% of marketing performance changes. These results suggest that effective quality management through ISO 9001:2015 enhances marketing efficiency and strengthens customer trust, helping the company navigate competition in the tin industry.

Abstract

This study analyzed the market for white oyster mushrooms and evaluated labeling, packaging, and compliance. It focused on growers and sellers in Luzon, Philippines, specifically Region III, IV-A, and Bicol Region. The market was assessed based on consumer preferences, packaging, labeling, pricing, aesthetics, and product quality. Production factors included human resources, logistic support, product freshness, quality standards, and market opportunities. Findings revealed a high demand for fresh mushrooms, often used as meat substitutes. Top by-products in demand were mushroom chicharron, sisig, pickled mushrooms, lumpia, embutido, tempura, and flavored ice cream. Consumers were satisfied with product prices and taste but indicated the need for improved packaging, labeling, and quality compliance. Producers recognized high market potential and agreed on the need for government and business strategy support. However, challenges included limited logistic support, freshness maintenance, and quality compliance. The study concluded that there is a strong market opportunity for white oyster mushrooms and their by-products, but improvements in packaging, labeling, and quality standards are essential.

Abstract

This study analyzes the impact of work discipline, leadership style, and motivation on employee productivity at PT. Balagi, a rattan company in Cirebon focused on exports. Work discipline reflects adherence to work rules, leadership style influences groups to achieve goals, and motivation acts as both internal and external drives to enhance performance. A quantitative approach is used in this research with a Likert-scale-based questionnaire instrument, converted into numerical data for statistical analysis. The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that discipline and motivation significantly affect productivity, while leadership style does not have a significant impact. Simultaneously, the three independent variables contribute 77.5% to employee productivity. This study provides recommendations for further development of research variables, exploration of more specific leadership dimensions, and the use of more complex analysis methods. Practically, it is recommended to improve work discipline and employee motivation through consistent policies, personal development training, and enhancing internal communication within the company.

Abstract

Despite the escalating popularity, one of the most common reasons for casual dining restaurant failure is the inability to fulfill the servicescape expectations and experiences of its customers. This study determined the servicescape of casual dining restaurants in Rinconada. More specifically, the study presents the demographic profile of respondents in terms of age, gender, marital status, highest educational attainment, monthly income and frequency of visits. Assess the casual dining restaurant servicescape expectations and perceptions of customers along with ambient conditions, spatial layout, décor, signs, symbols and artifacts. Quantitative correlational research design and descriptive methods with an adopted questionnaire were used in the study. Stratified Random Sampling was used with 395 respondents that are customers of registered and DOT Accredited restaurants. That there is a highly significant relationship exists between servicescape expectations and perceptions of customers where the greater the expectation the better the perception. The proposed recommendations are deemed necessary as they serve as a tool for casual dining restaurants to create consistent, high-quality, and customer-centric environments that contribute to overall business success and competitiveness.
