Indonesia is facing quite complex employment problems. This contributes to the development of human resource competencies in Indonesia to be able to compete at the national, regional, and international levels. Government policy on sustainable employment is the main focus in creating an inclusive, sustainable, and future-oriented work environment. This paper aims to analyze the strategies and policies implemented by the government to improve sustainable employment development. The workforce in Indonesia still has various problems, such as high unemployment rates, low quality of workforce, wages, social security, and so on. This analysis also discusses challenges and opportunities in dealing with labor issues, this paper also implements the concept of competitiveness. Through this concept, it is found that efforts to increase competitiveness can start from the substance of the labor sector such as skills and infrastructure. Then, increasing competitiveness also requires reform of the employment system which is regulated in such a way by the government to obtain better quality human resources in the future.

Indonesia is a developing country that is still faced with population problems, one of which is population growth. Population growth in Indonesia is quite high, the 2020 census recorded that the population in Indonesia was 270, 20 million people (BPS, 2020). Fertility is one of the factors that greatly influences fertility. Fertility is influenced by demographic and non-demographic factors. An example of a non-demographic factor is a social factor, namely the level of education. A person's final level of education has an influence on fertility. Education can develop potential, develop thinking, and so on. The aim of this research is to analyze the relationship between education level and fertility. The method used is a qualitative method, namely literature study using various reading sources. The research results show that the relationship between education and fertility is negative. Educated people tend to focus on continuing their education or career, so they often marry late or marry at an old age. Marrying at an old age for women certainly affects the age at first marriage. This certainly affects the length of a husband and wife's relationship. Educated people also really consider having a child, because that person really understands the big responsibility of being a parent. They often postpone, limit, and even decide not to have children.

Indramayu, particularly in its district, faces the challenge of poverty, with a poverty rate of 14.29%. The percentage of the population living in poverty reaches 16.28%. In response to this situation, many residents of Indramayu choose to become overseas Indonesian workers (TKI) in Taiwan as a means to improve their families’ well-being. This study aims to understand employment opportunities and income earned by Indramayu migrants working in Taiwan. The research employs a literature review approach with a qualitative descriptive method. Findings reveal that the primary driver of international migration is the prospect of high-income employment. Migrants aspire to enhance their standard of living and secure better earnings. Additionally, the presence of relatives who have already migrated or settled in Taiwan serves as an attractive factor. While the direct physical impact on village development may not be immediately visible, significant social changes occur. Family education levels improve, new job opportunities emerge, and lifestyle shifts lead to an overall enhancement in quality of life. In summary, the migration of TKI workers from Indramayu to Taiwan has multifaceted implications for both societies.

This process is not only a negative challenge for overseas students, but also brings opportunities for personal growth and intercultural skill development. This acculturation can have a significant impact on various aspects of life, ranging from emotional well-being, academic achievement, to social relationships. There is a need for tailored education, intervention and support strategies to support individuals in coping with the challenges and opportunities that arise during this process.

Fertility is the result of female reproduction. Fertility is a term that describes the number of children born alive. The large number of children born in Indonesia is one of the causes of rapid population growth. The high birth rate is influenced by many factors, one of which is education. The education received by both parents greatly influences the thoughts of both wives and husbands in having children because parents who have higher education tend to be more open-minded. Their minds are more rational so they will take everything into account before acting. This research aims to find out how parents' education influences their choice in the number of children they want to have. The research method used is a qualitative method with data collection techniques through literature study. Researchers collect data through articles and journals which are then read and studied. The results of this research are that education is a factor that has a very significant influence on fertility or birth, especially the wife's education which determines the amount of fertility. Meanwhile, for husband's education, husband's education does not have much influence on fertility.

This study explores the factors influencing Indonesian community participation in the labor force, employing a descriptive qualitative method with data collection through literature review. Although Indonesia possesses significant human resource potential that could support economic growth and compete globally, employment issues remain a substantial challenge. Despite the increasing number of people entering the working age, the availability of job opportunities has not kept pace, leading to an imbalance between labor supply and demand. This research identifies three key factors affecting active labor force participation: unemployment, education, and minimum wage. The study is relevant to the Labor Demand Theory, which explains how imbalances in the labor market affect workforce decisions. By understanding these factors, it is hoped that the government can formulate effective policies to create new job opportunities and support economic growth and community well-being more comprehensively. This research aims to provide useful insights for policy-making that could enhance labor force participation and address employment issues in Indonesia.

Suicide bombing is one of the deadliest and most frightening forms of terrorism because the impact caused causes huge losses in the number of casualties and also many aspects of people's lives. The problem is that suicide bombers often act in the name of religion and use their religious views as motivation for their actions. The suicide bombers give meaning to the religious symbols they encounter and then interpret the form of the symbol, namely religious commands such as jihad and also represent symbols that are interpreted as infidels in the wrong way, so this article tries to analyze how important symbols are in the formation of meaning and human behavior. This article uses the symbolic interactionism theory approach in its analysis, by looking for sources from various literatures, namely journals, books, and existing research. and uses a qualitative approach because the data produced is in the form of words or descriptions. Suicide bombers are included in demographic studies because they are part of the human population that can be analyzed statistically.
