Abstract

Abstract Morning Market in Pangkal Pinang is one of the trading centers in Pangkal Pinang which is an area prone to the transmission of the Covid-19 virus. So far, the number of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia has touched 15,211 positive, 1,002 recovered, and 689 people died. The data was taken on April 25, 2020. In Bangka Belitung, there has been a significant increase every year, with data on May 14, 2020 showing the number 29 positive, 5 recovered, and 5 people died. Along with the increasing number of Covid-19 cases in Bangka Belitug, the Department of Mechanical Engineering of UBB is to make Covid-19 medical PPE in the form of a Faceshield that can be used for traders at the Pagi Pangkal Pinang market. This is done, because it is difficult to get PPE at this time and the price sold in the market is quite expensive. By combining medical science with the engineering world, the Mechanical Engineering department of UBB uses the Autodesk Inventor application to carry out the design process so that the results made later are tested, measurable, and safe to use.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had the impact of disrupting education with a new normal. The implementation of learning activities is optimized online with synchronous (virtual face-to-face) and asynchronous (self-directed learning and collaborative learning) learning. However, a number of teachers experience problems when carrying out learning, especially in the use of an integrated Learning Management System (LMS). The implementation of the service is carried out with a webinar model through the zoom application. The result of the service activity is that Economics teachers who are members of the Economics MGMP of SMA Kebumen Regency are able to create an account at SiAjar and are able to design learning with the SIAJAR LMS. The method used for the implementation of the service is online mode because the conditions for the spread of covid have not subsided. The activity begins with account creation, material creation, assignments, discussions and assessments at LMS.

Currently, special efforts are needed to create proper and efficient waste management. The formation of a waste bank or through self-help groups is an effort to improve the community’s economy by taking advantage of the waste problems that are around. The Srimenanti Jaya Non-Governmental Organization (KSM) is a group that cares about environmental conditions and waste problems. Through this community service activity, counseling and simple technology are provided in the form of a garbage chopping machine to facilitate the process of processing waste into compost. To speed up the composting process, it is necessary to enumerate the waste into smalller sizes with a garbage chopper machine. The manufacture of this garbage chopping machine is designed with a shredder mechanism where the inserted waste will be attacted, cut, and chopped so that it becomes small pieces. Through the knowledge and technology generated from this activity, it is hoped that KSM Srimenanti Jaya can produce compost that has a selling value and is compotitive in the market
