Abstract

purpose of this study was to determine the impact rehabilitation of mangrove ecosystems. This study conduced during amonth in Berbas Pantai Village, Bontang District. The result showed that the negative and pasitivr impacts of the rehabilitation activites. The positive impact the rehabilitation is the area used as torist are and braek water erosion. Eventough the high cost and lack of success in the area for rehabilitation direct positive impact on the community as a tourist areas in based on the regression model and obtained values Rp1.310.168 the average value of visitor to the mangrove ecosystem in 2015 amounted 12,375 and the numbers trvel to mangrove ecosystem result is obtained Rp4.632.382 hectare/year.Indirect Use Value (IUV) are the benefits of mangrove ecosystems indirectly. The physical benefits are benefits of the mangrove ecosystem as a drag abrasion estimated by replacement cost of manufacture concrete beach for Breakwater (break water). Negative the impactofthis activityisa considerable costforthe rehabilitation of mangrove ecosystems that this Rp21.795.000 of replanting mangrove ecosystem. Then, from the manufacture of garden toursand a lack of supervision of the local government for the sustainability of this region. The total value of mangrove showed Rp-16.301.380 This shows the magnitude of the negative impacton the value of compare positive impact on mangrove ecosystem rehabilitation.

Abstract

The purpose of research were to analyzid benefit, revenue cost ratio (RCR) and breakeven point (BEP) of production and price of sea food restaurant in Tanjung Redeb Subdistrict Berau District. Sampling methods use census method. the result shows the sea food restaurant in Tanjung Redeb sub district is profitable with profil Rp. 4.713.070.500,- per respondent per year. Abstract

The purpose of the research is to identify the utilization of mangrove ecosystems by local society and analyzing economic value of mangrove ecosystems. Data were analyzied with the consumer surplus, travel cost method, benefit transfer, contingent valuation. The result obtained that the largest proportion of the value of mangrove ecosystems is the utilization value of turism as a direct benefit of Rp733.228.963.974,00 per year. While the largest proportion of the value non utilazion of mangrove ecosystems is the value of inheritance Rp 97.114.286,00 per year. Total of value of mangrove ecosystems of 22 hectare in Karang Rejo, Tarakan City North Borneo is Rp734.506.142.763,00 per year.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the characteristics of the fisherman's wife who works and does not work, knowing parenting fishermen families in the Village Berbas Pantai. Research conducted at the Village Berbas Pantai District of Bontang Selatan, Bontang.Samples were fisherman's wife who works and does not work in the public sector with the criteria of having children aged 0-18 years as many as 66 people. Retrieving data using census method were analyzed by using descriptive and presented in narrative form, tables, and percentages.The results showed fisherman's wife age range 18-62 years, mostly aged 30-33 years (21.21%) and mostly just graduated from elementary school (56.06%). with the largest tribal groups are Bugis (69.61%). Most of the fisherman's wife did not work (60.60%). Type and parenting (procreation) either work or not work is the same. Parenting meal, respondents generally the exclusive breast feeding to infants 1 month - 2,5 years, after not depend on mother's milk feeding is done every child is hungry or crying percentage (95.45%) and only (4.54%) at the time certain. If their child is sick there is also brought to the clinic or doctor's clinic. Child respondents had education from early childhood / kindergarten (6:06%) to graduate SMA / SMK (15.15%) according to their age. Type parenting applied by the fisherman's wife is the type of democratic decision-making husband and wife to act democratically against children in order to get a good upbringing of the family.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to know the consumer characteristics in buying indonesian yellow rice with the menu of snakehead fish, to know the relation between buying decision with price perception, location perception, and taste perception, and to identify level of consumer satisfaction reviewed from aspect of product, price, location, and also service. This research is conducted on (November 2015 - June 2016) by using sampling methods that is Accidental sampling. The result of the research shows that consumers characteristic that buy indonesian yellow rice with the menu of snakehead fish in the Culinary Tour Area Kampung Nasi Kuning Kota Samarinda is dominated by female consumer (50,91%), age 21 – 30 (34,55%), high school educated SLTA (45,45%), working as employee (45,45%), income Rp 2.000.001 - Rp 4.000.000 (65,45%) and consumer with the tribe of Banjar stands 25 people (45,45%). Consumer perception concerning the price, location, and taste toward the buying decision is categorized as an average consideration. The result of the analysis of correlation coefficients Rank spearman that means there is a relation between buying decision toward price perception, location perception, and taste perception in indonesian yellow rice in the Culinary Tour Area Kampung Nasi Kuning Kota Samarinda. The satisfaction index of consumer the product is categorized as high satisfaction around 76,4%, price is categorized as high satisfaction around 68,8%, location is categorized as average satisfaction around 66% and service is categorized as average satisfaction around 67%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the socio-economic characteristics, perception, motivation, and public attitudes towards regional coastal development program. Also to know the relationship between socioeconomic characteristic, perception and motivation with public attitudes towards Derawan Island Coastal Park program. Sampling method use purposive sampling with 60 respondents, consist to 30 respondents of JALA and 30 respondents of Non JALA. The research has been conducted on July to December 2015. Data analysis methods use descriptive qualitative method and quantitative analysis method with Rank Spearman’s correlation. The result shows there is a difference in attitudes towards between JALA and Non JALA. The socioeconomic characteristics factors related with attitudes towards of Derawan Regional Coastal Park are membership status of JALA and ownership status of fishing gear. The perception and motivation factor has significant effect relationship toward public attitude of Tanjung Batu village toward of Derawan Islands Coastal Park.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to find out the public perception on the sales as well as to analyze the consumer satisfaction toward the fresh fish marketing at Rawa Indah Market in Bontang Municipality.This research was conducted in 5 months time, starting from the beginning of the year 2015, located at Rawa Indah Market in Bontang Municipality. The sampling method used was purposive sampling. The findings of the research showed that based on needs recognition, the highest number of the respondents revealed that the decision making process of the consumer’s purchase was due to the proximity of the residence to the market. Therefore, the biggest advantage sought by the consumers was the close distance. The highest frequency of information searching was from the sigh board. Moreover, for the alternative evaluation, the highest frequency of respondents revealed that consumers chose to visit Rawa Indah Market because the fish there was fresh. For the consumer’s decision, the highest frequency of respondents showed that their visits were done every afternoon on daily basis. Furthermone, for the marketing result, the highest frequency showed that consumers would keep on buying even though there was a 10 - 40 % price hike. They would come again and their satisfaction level ‘satisfield’. The attributes that should be maintained would be types of fish, accessibility to the location, seller’s responsiveness, friendliness and politiness, safety and convenience, parking areas and market facilities. On the other hand, the attributes which should be improved would be seller’s communication skills, market arrangement and service process. From the CSI calculation, a value of 4.97 % was abtained, which means that consumers visiting Rawa Indah Market in Bontang Municipality was not satisfied enough by the existing attributes. Based on the findings, it could be concluded that the people in Bontang was not too satisfied. Therefore, the related parties or the related government institutionsthat manage Rawa Indah Marketing in Bontang Municipality should improve their quality.
