Abstract

The author's research approach uses descriptive qualitative methods where the procedures used to produce data are generated from something that is written or spoken by people or through observable behavior. While collecting data the author uses research by conducting interviews, observation, and documentation. In analyzing the authors reduce data, display data, and draw conclusions. The results of this study show that criminal news shows really influence the delinquent behavior of teenagers in Senaung Village. However, this influence does not always have a negative impact and also does not always have a positive impact. The influence of criminal news shows on juvenile delinquency depends on the personality of the teenager. Are they able to control themselves in watching criminal news shows so that they fall prey to criminal acts.

Abstract

This research is motivated by problems with the existence of obstacles that make people use Jambi TV media in their need for information. The objectives to be achieved in this study are to find out the utilization of Jambi TV television media, and the effects of information from Jambi TV television media and the constraints of society in utilizing Jambi TV television. The results of this study indicate that the use of television media for the people of Sungai Ruan Ilir village, Maro Sebo Ulu sub-district (Studi Jambi TV) is the use of television media to meet community needs so that the information the community wants is fulfilled and they don't have to wait long to get information. The people of Sungai Ruan Ilir Village chose Jambi TV Television media by getting information that was very easy to understand, understood by the community. while the effect of information from the Jambi TV television media for the community returns to the community itself, if they respond to the information they get by thinking negatively then it is bad for them while they respond to information by thinking positively it is good for them and very useful. The Jambi TV television media cannot always use it to obtain information because there are problems for the community in utilizing Jambi TV, such as when the network is lost and when there is a power outage, the community cannot take advantage of Jambi TV television media.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the neutrality of Jambi TV in Broadcasting News in Reporting on Corruption Crimes Arrested by the Corruption Eradication Commission OTT KPK Ratification of the Jambi Province RAPBD in January-March 2018. The mass media functions as an information disseminator. Therefore the news conveyed to the public must be clear without any distortion of meaning or meaning. Jambi TV media, which has followed this case, started with a search for a hand-catching operation carried out by the Corruption Eradication Commission team. The IDR 4.7 billion found by the Corruption Eradication Committee during the sting operation was allegedly related to the discussion of the 2018 Jambi Province RAPBD. This study used a qualitative research method using the Framing Zhongdang pan and Gerald M. Kosick analysis approach. perform analysis based on four dimensions, namely, Syntax, Script, Thematic, Rhetorical. Researchers use the method used by Michel. The results of this study explain, 1). That Jambi TV framed the news on the Jambi Province RAPBD corruption case according to what was found on the ground by journalists. 2). Jambi TV's position when broadcasting the news on the Jmabi Province RAPBD corruption case, the news that was broadcast was in accordance with the pact where no one takes sides, whether it's the KPK or the RAPBD corruption suspects. During an editorial meeting. Finally, the author worships Religion, Society, Nusa and the Nation.

Abstract

Along with the times, information and communication technology has developed rapidly. Advances in technology have presented and provided a lot of information needed by society, especially for teenagers today through various mass media. The media used are usually print media and electronic media. The media has played a role in shaping the culture and lifestyle that will affect the morals of teenagers. This is what prompted the author to research the Hero ad for Grandpa which was produced by the Ramayana Department Store. This study aims to determine the meaning of denotations, connotations and myths contained in the Hero ad for Grandpa and to find out what moral messages are contained in it. The method used by the author in this study is a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation and documentation. The analysis used is semiotic analysis with Roland Barthes analysis model. Through this semiotic analysis technique, the writer will know what messages are contained by dividing them into denotation, connotation and myth. This study was able to find signs and markers of the meaning of connotation, denotation and myth in the form of moral messages contained in the advertising film version of the Hero for Grandfather. The author found several moral messages in the advertisement, namely caring for the younger ones, maintaining health, patient nature, caring nature for the older ones, not complaining, empathy, self-sacrifice, sense of responsibility, respect for elders and love for those who are older. younger and love the homeland.

Abstract

This study used the library research method (literature research) which is explorative descriptive qualitative in nature. Qualitative research is concerned with non-numeric data, collecting and analyzing narrative data. Conducted on the YouTube channel "UZMA Media TV Channel" with data collection techniques using observation, literary data collection, namely digging library materials that are in the same direction as the object of study. And follow-up interviews to confirm the validity of the research. As a result, the researchers found that the figure of KH Zulkifli Muhammad Ali was a scholar from West Sumatra. By preaching through the media Da'wah Youtube using the mauidzoh hasanah method accompanied by blackboard explanations and a question and answer session such as following trends, that lectures no longer use a rigid method but only lecture with passive (listening) mad'u only. Besides that, using social media can help reach more mad'u and can be watched repeatedly. The material presented also specifically adds to the characteristics of the ustad. Ustad Zulkifli Muhammad Ali besides having talent in the world of da'wah also has an interest in the fifth pillar of faith, namely faith in the last day. With explanations that are in accordance with the Qur'an and Hadith, he also provides scientific facts so that mad'u understands and believes better that the Day of Judgment promised by Allah will come. Ustad Zulkifli conveyed material about the end times aimed at inviting people to prepare themselves and increase their acts of worship. Because only good deeds will save themselves from the slander of the end of time.
