Abstract

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a respiratory tract infection disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The percaution to avoid COVID-19 virus is to take vitamin C to boost the body's immune system. This research is a correlative-descriptive studies, with cross-sectional method in Kelurahan Jatimulya Bekasi in RT 001 and RT 002 RW 013 for residents aged 17-55 years old. Using simple-random sampling method, 123 residents who consumed vitamin C used as respondents with digital questionnaire. The answers from the questionnaire used to group respondents according to their three level categories knowledge of satisfactory, intermediate and low. Descriptive-analysis was conducted to see the characteristics. Data analysis was also carried out by making frequency tables between the level of knowledge in correlation with age, education, and occupation. Based on the analysis of the questionnaire results, it was found that majority of 65 respondents (52.8%) had satisfactory knowledge regarding the use of vitamin C, with characteristics age 17 – 25 years old, had non-medical tertiary education, and work in private sector. Research using the Chi-Square statistical test found that there was a significant correlation between age (p=0,002) with the knowledge of the use of vitamin C. The good knowledge of respondents is received information about the use of vitamin C from health workers, electronic media, packaging Information-content and educational institutions. In Islam overview, gaining knowledge is an obligation as mentioned in Q.S. Ali-Imran (3):190.

Abstract

Background: COVID-19 pandemic had an impact on activities in Posyandu. This has been proven by the decreased number of visits by the Posyandu cadres and the visitors. One of the activities that Posyandu held is nutrition services. Nutrition is various substances that are obtained from food and are important for metabolic processes. The nutritional status needs to get more attention from parents because malnutrition in childhood can cause permanent damage. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between mother’s knowledge about nutrition fulfillment and the nutritional status of children aged 1-3 years old in Posyandu Melati RW 006 Kelurahan Palmeriam during COVID-19 pandemic and the review according to Islamic perspective. Methods: This study uses an analytic correlational survey with cross-sectional approach as the methods. The method that was used to determine the sample in this study is total sampling with a total sample of 56 respondents. Data was collected by filling out questionnaires regarding nutritional fulfillment by mothers and weighing children aged 1-3 years old at Posyandu Melati RW 006 Kelurahan Palmeriam. Chi-Square test is used to analyze the data. Results:  The results showed that most of the mothers have good knowledge about nutritional fulfillment (55.4%) and most of the children have a good nutritional status (48.2%) and the p value: 0.037 is obtained in this test.Conclusion: There is a relationship between the mother’s knowledge about nutrition fulfilment and the nutritional status of children aged 1-3 years old in Posyandu Melati RW 006 Kelurahan Palmeriam during COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Background: Medical education is almost always associated with high levels of stress. High levels of stress can have a negative impact on cognitive function and learning ability, even though the average study load for medical students is heavier because their class schedules are tighter and their study period is longer. Based on research conducted on first-year medical students at the Faculty of Medicine, Andalas University in 2019, out of a total of 188 respondents, it was found that the majority of respondents had moderate stress levels (48.4%). Stress itself is an unpleasant condition in which a person sees demands beyond the limits of ability. In addition, stress can also change a person's eating behavior. One of them is emotional eating behavior. Emotional eating is an emotional overeating behavior in individuals that arises because of ineffective coping against stress not because of the physiological condition of hunger, but as an effort to improve emotional conditions. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between stress levels and emotional eating in YARSI University Medical Faculty students class of 2020 and their views according to Islam.Methods: This research is a quantitative research that is observational analytic with a cross sectional research design. Questionnaires are distributed via google form. This research was conducted on YARSI University Medical Faculty students class of 2020 with a total sample of 138 respondents. Data analysis used the Spearman rank test.Results: Based on the results of statistical tests, there is a relationship between stress levels and emotional eating in YARSI University Medical Faculty students class of 2020. With a p value of 0.003 (p 0.05) and a correlation coefficient of 0.254.Conclusion: There is a relationship between stress levels and emotional eating in YARSI University Medical Faculty students class of 2020, the variable relationship is unidirectional but the relationship is weak.

Abstract

Backgorund : One of the complications of DM is diabetic ulcers which occur due to reduced pain sensation due to neuropathy. Diabetic ulcers are a state of finding infection, destruction to the deepest skin tissue in the feet in patients with diabetes mellitus (DM) due to nerve abnormalities and peripheral arterial vascular disorders, so an overview of the pattern of antibiotics is very important in overcoming the severity of ulcers that can expand.Methodolgy : This research used secondary data from medical records on the antibiotic sensitivity of diabetic foot ulcer patients at the Gatot Subroto Army Hospital and Fatmawati General Hospital from January 2018 to December 2021.Results : There are ten types of antibiotics that sensitive to diabetic foot ulcer patients at Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital, including tigecycline, cefepime, piperacillin tazobactam, amikacin, aztreonam, ceftazidime, ciprofloxacin, gentamicin, meropenem, and ceftriaxone. While the types of antibiotics at Fatmawati General Hospital, include amikacin, piperacillin tazobactam, imipenem, meropenem, ertapenem, gentamicin, trimethophrim sulfamethoxazole, tigecycline, fosfomycin, and cefepime.Conclusion : Sensitive antibiotics in the two hospitals include tigecycline, cefepime, piperacillin tazobactam, amikacin, gentamicin and meropenem. In the view of Islam treatment is a form of effort to seek healing, after which surrender everything to Allah SWT.Keywords : Antibiotic, diabetic ulcer, Army hospital, Fatmawati

Abstract

Introduction: Dysmenorrhea is pain that is felt in the pelvic area due to menstruation and the production of prostaglandin substances. Dysmenorrhea is caused by many factors, one of which is sleep patterns. This study aims to find out whether there is a relationship between sleep patterns and the incidence of dysmenorrhea in YARSI University Medical Faculty Students Batch 2020-2021 and Reviews According to an Islamic View.Method: This type of research is correlational with a cross sectional approach and the method of determining the sample is purposive sampling. The sample in this study were YARSI University Medical Faculty Students Class of 2020-2021, a total of 97 students. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire.Result: From the results of statistical analysis, it was found that 5 (5.2%) respondents with good sleep patterns experienced mild to moderate dysmenorrhea. While 92 (94.8%) of respondents with poor sleep patterns experienced mild dysmenorrhea as many as 46 (47.4%), moderate as many as 42 (43.3%) and severe as many as 4 (4.1%). The results of the Chi square test obtained a p value of 0.417 ( 0.05) which indicated that there was no significant relationship between sleep patterns and dysmenorrhea in YARSI University Faculty of Medicine Students class of 2020-2021.Conclusion: There is no significant relationship between sleep patterns and dysmenorrhea in YARSI University Faculty of Medicine Students class of 2020-2021. However, there is an increased risk of mild to moderate dysmenorrhea in respondents who have poor sleep quality.
