Abstract

Creative economy is a sustainable economic development concept based on creativity, encompassing arts, culture, science, technology, engineering, and telecommunications. In Banyuwangi, the creative economy is facilitated by the Banyuwangi Youth Creative Festival (BYCN), supported by the Department of Culture and Tourism. However, many creative economy players in Banyuwangi still lack promotional design plans, including websites. This study aims to design a user interface for a creative economy promotion website using the design thinking method, which includes five stages: Empathy, Definition, Ideation, Prototype, and Testing. This method focuses on consumer-centered innovation, emphasizing product and service design that attracts attention in the business world. Testing uses the usability scale with web maze to evaluate the prototype created with the user interface developed by 30 respondents. The results of the testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS) showed a score of 79.5, which falls into the ACCEPTABLE category. Adjective ratings assessment indicated an EXCELLENT result and a grade scale of B. With these results, this study demonstrates that the designed website meets usability standards and user feedback indicates that the user interface (UI) is easy to use.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology, including web application development, demands the selection of an optimal framework to achieve the desired performance. Homestay Kosasih had used Laravel as its development framework, but faced performance challenges such as increased response times and higher resource usage. This research aims to compare the performance of Laravel (based on PHP) and ExpressJS (based on JavaScript) in the context of Kosasih Homestay application development. The research method uses a quantitative approach with direct performance testing on both frameworks, measuring loading time, responsiveness and efficiency of resource use. The results show that ExpressJS has faster response times and more efficient resource usage than Laravel. However, Laravel excels in ease of development and complete built-in features. The conclusion of this research is that ExpressJS is more recommended for applications that require high performance and efficiency, while Laravel is more suitable for development that requires complete built-in features. These findings provide insight for the development team in choosing the most appropriate framework to improve the performance and responsiveness of the Homestay Kosasih application.

Abstract

The Android-Based Traditional Musical Instrument Introduction and Learning Application Using Augmented Reality was developed to help students of SMP YPK Hedam Abepura learn traditional Indonesian musical instruments. The app uses Augmented Reality (AR) technology to display 3D models of traditional musical instruments and their related information in real-time. This research aims to build a system that can help students get to know and learn traditional Indonesian musical instruments in an interactive and fun way. The system uses the marker-based AR method, where the user points the Android device's camera at a marker printed on paper or other media. The system then displays a 3D model of the traditional musical instrument and related information, such as name, regional origin, how to play, and the sound of the musical instrument.This application is expected to help students of SMP YPK Hedam Abepura to get to know various kinds of traditional Indonesian musical instruments Learn how to play traditional musical instruments Increase interest and love for the nation's culture This research uses waterfall research methods and system design using Unified Modelling Language (UML). System functionality testing is done with Blackbox testing.

Abstract

Development of a web-based public service information system in Bhuana Giri Village, Bebandem District, Karangasem Regency, Bali. This village, with a population of 7,579 people, currently still uses a manual system for administrative services, which includes making various certificates. This manual system is considered less efficient and is at risk of data corruption or loss. To overcome this problem, a web-based system is proposed using the extreme programming method. The research aims to improve the efficiency of public services, speed up the process of making letters, and facilitate access to information for the community. The system is expected to enable online letter submission and more effective information search, in line with the development of information technology that has penetrated various aspects of people's lives.

Abstract

Advances in information and communication technology open up new opportunities in the world of education. However, Google Form has limitations in managing questionnaire data, so it hampers the process of evaluating teaching and learning satisfaction and services at Banyuwangi State Polytechnic which is done manually. This research aims to create a web-based questionnaire application to solve the problem. The method used is Agile Software Development with API (Application Programming Interface) using Laravel, focusing on creating a reliable backend system to organize data, process information, and provide a secure API. Laravel and the Agile method were chosen because of its superior features and easy to adjust to changes. This application is expected to improve the quality of satisfaction evaluation, to help summarize data precisely and up-to-date, and to save time and resources in the evaluation process. This application has the potential to overcome the shortcomings of the current evaluation system and provide a better solution. Therefore, it can be concluded that the development of this application can improve the quality of education and services on campus through faster and more precise evaluation.

Abstract

CV. Jayla Tech .ID is a laptop and computer services company that still uses manual transactions and reports to manage its business. This causes problems that arise, including frequent loss of transaction note data or damage to transaction notes, resulting in history data when warranty claims have no evidence of damage and transactions. So an application was created to design a web-based laptop and computer service transaction system which aims to make transactions and warranty claims easier, assisting the Admin in reporting a recap of the overall profit and loss results at CV. Jayla Tech .ID.  Data collection was carried out through interviews, literature study and observation. The Rapid Application Development (RAD) method is used in developing service transaction systems, including requirements planning, system design, planning and implementation. The planning stage requires several actors such as admin and cashier. System design using Use Case and Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD). At the design stage, coding is carried out according to the system design required by the company and according to the agreement. The testing method carried out in this research is the User Acceptance Test (UAT). User Acceptance Test testing is a test that involves users directly using the system that has been built. This test uses (UAT) type of Contract Acceptance Testing (CAT), namely testing that is based on the requirements and criteria that have been agreed in the contract. The results of this research match the user's desired features and are very helpful for managing service and sales transactions on CV. JAYLA TECH .ID.

Abstract

Alisha Laundry is a laundry service provider. Since its founding, Alisha Laundry has been committed to providing the best service with a focus on quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction. Conventional assessment and management of laundry services is usually carried out through direct observation and manual assessment based on certain criteria. This method often has disadvantages such as high subjectivity, lack of standardization, and low time efficiency. This research examines the application of the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method in the web-based Alisha Laundry service management system to increase efficiency and effectiveness in decision making. SAW is used to assess and select the best alternative based on several main criteria: service quality, price, and turnaround time. This process involves normalizing the criteria values, assigning weights according to the level of importance of each criterion, and calculating the total score for each alternative. Implementing SAW allows Alisha Laundry to manage resources better and improve the performance assessment process, thereby providing more objective and targeted decisions.

Abstract

Alisha Laundry, located at Pasar Wit-witan Alasmalang Singojuruh, faces challenges in managing day-to-day operations manually, including order management, scheduling, and customer service. This research aims to develop a web-based service management system to automate and integrate these processes, enhancing service quality and operational productivity. The system includes order management, pickup and delivery scheduling, real-time laundry tracking, and reporting modules. Utilizing the Laravel framework and Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach, the system improves operational efficiency and customer satisfaction by providing seamless online booking and tracking, thereby enhancing Alisha Laundry's competitiveness in the current digital era. With the implementation of this system, Alisha Laundry is expected to better respond to customer needs and expand their market share in an increasingly competitive industry. Moreover, the use of web technology enables management to make more informed decisions based on available data, providing long-term benefits for business growth and development.

Abstract

The coffee industry in Indonesia is growing with the emergence of various new coffee shop brands. Social media such as Instagram and Facebook are often used as digital marketing tools, but are only effective for attracting visual attention and through active communities. On the other hand, creating a website is considered more effective because it allows for detailed information delivery and deeper performance analysis. Gesha Coffee Roastery is one of the businesses that uses a website as a digital marketing strategy to reach customers and increase brand awareness. However, in this case, the Gesha website experienced several problems, namely the absence of features that can display contactable contacts, there were still empty website pages, and several buttons that were still not functioning. This study was directed at testing and redesigning the Gesha website. The design was carried out by applying the Lean UX approach method, while the assessment of task performance was carried out through a post-task study test by applying the SEQ method and the SUS method for usability evaluation was carried out with a post-study test. The final result of the redesign of the Gesha website with the application of the Lean UX method is a prototype that has a final SUS score of 82 on grade B with the result "Acceptable" and a SEQ score with a median of 6.3 which is included in the easy category. Thus, it can be concluded that the UI/UX improvements on the Gesha Coffee Roastery website have a positive impact and provide a better experience for users.

Abstract

A cash application is something that is very necessary in the business world. No exception to the Daanish Store, which really needs a cash app. Daanish Store is an enterprise that sells school supplies, office tools, college supplies and school equipment. Currently, the registration of sales at the Daanish Store still uses manual methods. The sales are recorded on a book and recorded every weekend. The stock of goods could not be controlled because the shop employees hardly ever recorded the stock of remaining goods. Employees only report if there are exhausted items to ask for immediate return. Thus, the owner of the Daanish Store can't know how much cancellation is obtained and cannot control the stock of goods. Based on the problems faced by Daanish Store, research was carried out on the development of cash application. The system is built using the waterfall method with stages of requirements analysis and definition, system and software design, implementation and unit testing, integration and system testing and operation and maintenance. The decommissioned system can be used to record sales, stock goods and present sales reports. The result of this research is a web-based cashier application that can help solve the problems faced by Daanish Store.
