Abstract

Bengkulu Province from Kaur Regency to Moko-Moko Regency is directly adjacent to the Indian Ocean. So that many Bengkulu residents are fishermen and farmers. Of course, with abundant natural resources, there are some fish and agricultural products that have not been utilized optimally, for example, young fish on Bai Island which are still widely discarded and milled rice bran which is very cheap. On the other hand, there is a very big problem experienced by farmers or breeders in Bengkulu Province, namely the price of fish and poultry feed is very high, thus making fish and poultry farmers unable to survive because of the high cost of feed. To reduce the production cost of making pellets, a research was carried out on optimizing the operation of the pellet molding machine Type MKS-PLT 15 with dimensions of 340 x 150 x 325 mm, the power used was 450 watts and the voltage used was 220 v / 50 Hz. The research carried out looked at the machine operation at 25 percents, 50 percents, 75 percents and 100 percents, from the results of the research that had been carried out, it was found that the 25 percents machine operation cost of 6mm pellet printing was 0.00762 kwh/kg or Rp. 11.021/kg, machine operation 50 percents production cost 0.009901kwh/kg or Rp. 14.3039/kg machine operation 75 percents pellet production cost 0.01235kwh/kg or Rp. 17.842/kg while the machine operation is 100 percents pellet production cost of 0.01084 kwh/kg or Rp. 15.6605/kg. so that from the research carried out, it was found that the operation of the MKS-PLT15 pellet machine, the low production cost, was in machine operation 0-50 percents of the capacity of the pellet machine's ability to operate.

Abstract

Pada paper ini, peneliti membahas pengaruh lebar teeth terhadap penurunan nilai cogging torque yang berada pada permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) 18 slot 16 pole. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan software design electromacnetic. Dalam penelitian dilakukan dengan cara mendesain PMSG 18 slot 16 pole dengan memvariasiakan dua desain lebar teeth. Desain pertama menggunakan lebar teeth 8 mm dan desain kedua menggunakan lebar teeth 4 mm. Hasil penurunan nilai cogging torque yang didapat adalah sebesar 0.012676 Nm. metode numerik yang digunakan adalah Finite Element Method (FEM) digunakan untuk menganalisa pengaruh lebar teeth terhadap penurunan niali cogging torque.

Abstract

Pada daerah persawahan biasanya terdapat banyak hama serangga yang dapat membuat para petani mengalami gagal panen. Petani padi di Desa Rama Otama I biasanya menggunakan pestisida untuk membasmi hama, tetapi penggunaaan pestisida secara berlebihan dapat merusak tanaman padi itu sendiri karena pestisida mengandung bahan kimia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang alat pembasmi hama padi menggunakan jaring – jaring kawat bertegangan dengan sumber energi sel surya,prinsip kerja alat ini yaitu dengan mengecas baterai pada siang hari dengan bantuan sel surya, sel surya mempunyai fungsi yaitu dapat merubah energi matahari menjadi energi listrik kemudian dari baterai di hubungkan dengan Inverter yang dapat merubah listrik DC menjadi listik AC sehingga saat malam hari dapat menghidupkan lampu dan jaring – jaring kawat secara otomatis menggunakan timer theben yang sudah di setel. Pengujian alat ini dilakukan selama 7 hari dimulai dari pukul 06.00 – 18.00 untuk mengecas baterai, daya yang dihasilkan terbesar yaitu hari ke-2 pada pukul 11:00 WIB dengan daya sebesar 126,132 Watt, tegangan pada hari ke-2 yaitu sebesar 23,6 V dan arus sebesar 6,87 A., sedangkan pada pukul 18.00 – 06.00 lampu dan jaring – jaring kawat bekerja dan pada pukul tersebut hama serangga mulai beraktivitas sehingga banyak hama serangga yang terbunuh oleh jaring – jaring kawat. Jenis hama yang terbunuh oleh jaring – jaring yaitu hama wereng, walang sangit, lembing, dan kupu – kupu sundep.

Abstract

Abstract Photovoltaic (PV) is a renewable energy generator that produces electrical energy at a certaintime or also called intermittent.. A large number of PV penetrations into the system significantly affects theability of conventional generators to catch up with power due to decreased PV output power or when PVoutput power is not available. This is due to the different characteristics of the lean rate of each type ofgenerator. To overcome the power imbalance in the electric power system with various compositions, it isnecessary to limit the number of PV that is allowed to be installed in the electrical power interconnectionsystem.In this study, the generator and load data were used collectively from the Indonesian National GreatCompany. The power plants used are hydropower plant, steam power plant, geothermal power plant, dieselpower plant, gas engine power plant, and gas power plant. Based on the simulation results, the number of PVthat is allowed to be installed is a maximum of 30 percent of the total generation in a certain generationconfiguration. If the amount of PV exceeds the maximum limit, there will be a power imbalance between thegenerator and the load. If the generator configuration has a large generator capacity and has a high lean rate,PV plants can be connected to the electrical power interconnection of more than 30 percent of the total generation. Abstract

Abstract Banana is a fruit plant that is widely produced in Indonesia. Unfortunately, this plant is verysusceptible to diseases which can reduce the quality and quantity of the crop. This paper proposes diseasedetection in banana plants using a thermal camera. The detection is carried out using image processingtechniques with multilevel thresholding methods. The image is captured using a thermal camera, then theimage is preprocessed to suit what is desired. After that, so that the position is the same as the image takenusing a digital camera, the image produced by the thermal camera is carried out by an image registrationprocess. The image processing result is compared with the ground truth image obtained from a digitalcamera to determine the effectiveness of the proposed method. The effectiveness of the proposed method ismeasured using the parameters Recall, Precision, F-measure, and Accuracy. The effectiveness of theproposed method is effective enough to produce a recall value of 76.65 percents, Precision 58.38 percents, F-measure64.68 percents, and Accuracy 62.87percents. Abstract

Penggunaan beban non-linear semakin umum digunakan seiring berkembangnya teknologi yang menerapkan komponen elektronika daya di dalamnya. Beban non-linear dapat menimbulkan harmonisa pada jaringan listrik dan mengakibatkan penurunan kualitas daya. Cara yang dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini salah satunya adalah dengan menggunakan Active Power Filter. Pada penelitian ini suatu Shunt Active Power Filter (SAPF) untuk sistem satu fasa didesain dan disimulasikan untuk meredam harmonisa yang timbul karena penggunaan beban non-linear satu fasa yang sering digunakan di skala rumah tangga. Teori ip-iq dan kontrol PI untuk tegangan DC digunakan untuk mendapatkan referensi arus kompensasi. Pada simulasi, beban yang digunakan berupa penyearah dioda yang dihubungkan ke beban RL seri. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa sebelum pemasangan SAPF, nilai THD arus sumber mencapai 32.63 persen. Sedangkan setelah pemasangan SAPF nilai THD arus sumber yang dihasilkan hanya sebesar 4.47 persen. SAPF yang disimulasikan memiliki kemampuan peredaman harmonisa sebesar 28.16 persen dan dapat memenuhi standar yang ditoleransi oleh IEEE 519-2014.

Abstract

The evolution of information technology has made lots of organizations use web-based applications to improve their work performance. Using two or more web-based applications in an organization makes users have to remember more than one account to log in to the websites. This is certainly ineffective, and it takes technology that can make users to access all existing web applications using one account. The technology commonly used is the Single-Sign-On (SSO) technology. In this study, the Single-Sign-On protocol that was developed was the Central Authentication Service or CAS. To implement a centralized authentication system, FreeRADIUS is used as an authentication server and authentication protocol. To make both technologies work, this study will explain how to integrate SSO with CAS protocol as SSO and FreeRADIUS as authentication server, to create SSO based on CAS and FreeRADIUS. Success is determined in the login and logout process. After the user has logged into the SSO portal, the user can access all existing web applications. Abstract

fan is always ordinary thing at home, human needs fan for comfortable while rest, and lower the temperature of the body if the weather is too hot. But fan brings adverse effect like, the experience pain in certain parts of the body, for example,stiffness due to being exposed to a wind blow of the fan that is always strong against the body.The purpose of making this prototype is to automatically adjust the fan speed based on the distance from the fan to the human. by using an ultrasonic sensor, by using Passive Infrared sensor, we can automatically turn off without pressing any button so that the fan can turn on, and there is also a DHT11 sensor which can make us know the room temperature and humidity of the room being occupied, the fan will automatically turn off if it does not detect humans within 1 minute 40 seconds, in this project we can also turn on or turn off the fan if you really want to turn it on even though no one is in front using the Blynk application, and the temperature and room will also appear on the Blynk application, the microcontroller used is ArduinoUno, and NodeMCU as intermediary for the internet

Abstract

Komunikasi wireless dalam teknologi akses layanan internet memiliki peranan yang sangat penting. Perangkat komunikasi yang menggunakan sistem wireless membutuhkan antena sebagai media perambatan gelombang radio menuju kanal wireless. Kinerja antena mempengaruhi pengiriman dan penerimaan sinyal gelombang radio tersebut. Pada teknologi layanan Wireless Fidelity atau WiFi, antena diaplikasikan untuk operasional kerja WiFi pada frekuensi 2,4 GHz. Pada pengiriman dan penerimaan sinyal WiFi dapat terjadi penurunan kuat sinyal oleh penghalang dan lingkungan sekitar perangkat wireless sehingga hal ini yang menyebabkan akses layanan internet oleh pengguna akan mengalami gangguan koneksi dan kualitas informasi yang ditransfer akan mengalami degradasi. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai karakterisasi susunan antena Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) mikrostrip untuk kinerja kuat sinyal WiFi. Desain antena MIMO menggunakan penambahan slot pada setiap patch rectangular di substrat antena. Slot yang digunakan yaitu empat buah slot segiempat dengan ukuran slot serta jarak yang sama dari tepi bidang patch. Konfigurasi slot berdasarkan spesifikasi bahan substrat, ketebalan substrat, frekuensi kerja dan ukuran patch. Berdasarkan penelitian yang sudah dilakukan, hasil menunjukkan bahwa untuk parameter Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR) 1,50 dan gain 3,898 dBi. Return loss minimum -13,88 dB di frekuensi 2,4 GHz sedangkan pola radiasi direksional dengan side lobe -14,2 dB serta bandwidth antena 87,8 MHz. Antena MIMO array yang dirancang telah dapat diberikan karakterisasi untuk dapat bekerja sesuai fungsinya sebagai media propagasi sinyal dalam akses layanan teknologi WiFi.
