Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research was to evaluate the implementation of the mining safety management system (SMKP) and the mining environmental protection management system (SPPLHP), analyze employee perceptions of the system, and analyze priority strategies for system improvement at PT. Sumber Energi Jaya. (SEJ). This research was conducted from October to December 2020. The research method used is a survey method with questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. Determination of the sample in this study using the purposive sampling method with 50 employees as respondents. The perception data was obtained by using a questionnaire and then tested for validity and reliability with the SPSS 26 program and measured using a Likert scale. The strategy analysis used is SWOT analysis and AHP analysis with the Expert Choice program version 11. The results show that the implementation of SMKP 72% and SPPLHP 80% can be categorized as achievement at the proactive level and measurement of employee perceptions of SMKP and SPPLHP is categorized as high. The priority strategy of SMKP is to optimize company support by allocating a budget for system improvement and SPPLHP's priority strategy is to optimize the management of the mining environment by integrating information, planning, programs, budgets, procedures and structures.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the availability of nutrients in wet and dry land, and to determine the interaction of the use of soil type and type of fertilizer on the growth of cucumber plants. This research was carried out in Tombatu Tiga Village, District, North Tombatu, Southeast Minahasa Regency for 3 months starting from February - May 2021, using a quantitative descriptive method for nutrient availability and experiments in polybags were carried out using a 4x3 Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 2 factors. treatment, namely Type of Soil and Type of Fertilizer. showed that the availability of macronutrients available in the soil prior to conducting the research (C-Organic, Total N, available P, and K) was less available as well as the pH of the soil on the criteria of slightly acidic to acidic. And from the results of the analysis after the study showed that with the application of organic fertilizer master Compost and POC Nasa there was an increase in soil pH in all soil types, as well as an increase in the value of nutrients, especially available P, followed by C-Organic, and Total N. The results showed that the interaction of soil type and fertilizer type had a significant effect on the growth of cucumber plants at plant heights of 20 DAP and 30 DAP and number of leaves 10 DAP to 30 DAP. However, there was no interaction with plant height at 10 days after planting.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the operational impact Bitung Fishing Port (BFP) on ambient air conditions and noise level in the fishing port area.  This study was conducted at the BFP and started from November 1, 2020 – February 5, 2021. BFP is located in Aertembaga Satu Village, Aertembaga District, Bitung City, North Sulawesi Province. This study is a type of quantitative research carried out by survey methods and analysis of research results is carried out descriptively. Primary data comes from the results of direct measurements in the field (4 sampling points) on November 2, 2020. The data was analyzed at the Manado Industrial Research and Standardization Center on November 3, 2020. The results of the analysis were sent to PPS Bitung on January 10, 2021. Secondary data is sourced from time series data on ambient air and noise measurements from the BFP RKL-RPL report from 2014 to 2019. The measurement period for ambient air (SO2, NO2, CO, TSP) and noise levels is carried out 2 times a year. Based on the study results, it can be seen that the status of environmental management and it’s application is still quite good, as evidenced by the conditions of contamination in ambient air and the level of air noise in the fishing port area is still below the quality standard.

Abstract

This research aims to describe land use changes and land value zone changes, analyze land use changes to land value zone changes from 2014 to 2019, and predict land use changes for 5 (five) years from 2020 to 2025 in Mapanget District. The analytical methods used in this research are spatial analysis and trend analysis. The results showed that changes in land use increased and decreased, while changes in land The results showed that there was an increase and decrease in land use change, while changes in land value increased every year, land use changes did not directly affect land values because they were influenced by internal and external factors, and the results of land use predictions increased for land use changes. settlements and offices & trade as well as decreased land use for changes in agricultural land use in Mapanget District.

Abstract

Lime rind is agricultural waste. Its existence is easy to find, especially in restaurants or food stalls. Lime rind still has the potential to be processed, including the extraction process to obtain pectin. This study aims to determine the right temperature and extraction time in order to obtain the best yield and quality of pectin from lime rind. This research was held in the laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Agricultural Technology, especially the laboratory for processing food products and the laboratory of the Manado Industrial Research and Standardization Center. This research is a laboratory research using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method with two factors, those are the extraction temperature of 60 ° C, 80 ° C, and 100 ° C and the extraction time of 30, 60 and 90 minutes with three replications. The observations made were pectin yield, methoxyl content, moisture content and ash content. The results showed that the temperature of 80 ° C and the extraction time of 60 minutes produced the best pectin with a methoxyl content of more than 7%, a moisture content of 9.73-13.77% and an ash content below 10%.
