Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the income of lowland rice farming in Tonom Village, Dumoga Timur District, Bolaang Mongondow Regency. This research was conducted for 3 months, from November 2021 to January 2022. The data used in this study were primary data and secondary data. The sample was selected using a proportional stratified random sampling method (Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling). The population was divided into three strata based on the area of land planted with lowland rice, namely strata I (land area 1 Ha), Strata II (land area 1-2 Ha) and strata III (land area 2 Ha). The number of samples is 30 people from 116 farmer population. The results of this study indicate that the income of lowland rice farming per hectare at strata I, II, and III respectively is Rp. 6,029,865, Rp. 6,241,915, and Rp. 6,257,939. This shows a tendency that the larger the cultivated land, the higher the income per hectare from lowland rice farming.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze factors that influence the use of Cyber Extension by agricultural extension workers in Manado City. The type of data in this study is primary data obtained directly from interviews and through questionnaires distributed to respondents, namely agricultural extension workers in Manado City. The number of samples in this study amounted to 30 people with data collection techniques using purposive sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that the factors that influence the use of Cyber Extension by agricultural extension workers in Manado City are age, education, training, and media ownership.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of community participation and to analyze the relationship between internal and external factors with the level of community participation in the management of mangrove protected forests in Sarawet Village, Likupang Timur District, North Minahasa Regency. This research was conducted from December 2021 to February 2022. The selection of respondents was carried out by accidental sampling. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data were collected through questionnaire-based interviews with 76 people. Secondary data was obtained from related agencies, namely the Old Law Office of Sarawet Village, North Minahasa Regency. Secondary data was also obtained through the internet using Google Scholar in the form of books, journal articles and theses related to the topic of this research, namely Community Participation in Mangrove Protected Forest Management. The results showed that the level of community participation in Sarawet Village, East Likupang District in the planning, implementation, utilization and evaluation stages was low and the relationship between internal and external factors on community participation as a whole had a significant relationship with a sig value of 0.000 < 0.01.

Abstract

The research aims to determine and analyse the income contribution of women vegetable sellers to families at Tompasobaru Market, South Minahasa Regency. The research was carried out for 2 months, from January to February 2022. The data collected in this study is primary data obtained from direct interviews with women who sell vegetables using a questionnaire. Secondary data was obtained from the village office and market office, as well as research-related data taken from the internet. In this study the number of respondents was 9 female vegetable sellers who met the requirements who were randomly selected purposive sampling. The results showed that the income contribution of women vegetable sellers at Tompasobaru market to family income was 43.28% with at average income of Rp 2.667.778/month. The income of women vegetable sellers can generate additional/main income in the family in their role in public spaces (outside the come).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the profit of analysis of UD. Aneke’s wet noodle business during the Covid-19 pandemic in Manado. This research was carried out during July and December 2021 at UD. Aneke which is in the Karisma Ranomuut Housing. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through direct interviews with business owners from UD. Aneke by using a list of question (questionnaire). Meanwhile, secondary data were taken from agencies related to this research. The data collected is then analyzed using profit analysis by calculating the difference between revenue and costs used then followed by the Cost Ratio (R/C) analysis formula. This results of this study indicate that the UD. Aneke wet noodle business is profitable. Profit in July 2021 is Rp 6.690.892 with an R/C ratio of 1,22 and a profit in December 2021 of Rp 11.340.891 with an R/C value of 1,35.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of community groups managing the Tiwoho Mangrove Trail tourism in Tiwoho Village, Wori District, North Minahasa Regency. The study was conducted in March 2022. The method used in this study is the purposive sampling method. The sample taken was 35 respondents, the data source used primary and secondary data and was analyzed descriptively through the presentation of descriptions, images, and tables. The results of the study indicate the role of the management group in the planning stage, namely planning a work program for the construction of the Tiwoho Mangrove Trail, then in the implementation stage, namely building Mangrove Trail Tiwoho tourism and holding mangrove conservation activities and complementing the supporting facilities in tourist attractions, then in the utilization stage the group utilizes the community, government and related agencies to support the needs of the Tiwoho Mangrove Trail tour. There is no Original Village Income (VOI) yet but the Tiwoho Mangrove Trail tour has a good impact on the village and the surrounding community. All members of the group play an active role in the management of the Tiwoho Mangrove Trail tour. The role of the community group managing the Mangrove Trail Tiwoho tourism starting from planning, implementing and utilizing is well carried out.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the Development Strategy of cayenne pepper farming in Tambelang Village, Maesaan District, South Minahasa Regency. The research was carried out for 2 months, from January to February 2022. The research site was in Tambelang Village, Maesaan District, South Minahasa Regency. The study used primary data obtained from direct observation and interviews with respondents based on a list of questions. Secondary data were obtained from agencies related to this research. The sampling method used purposive sampling method, as many as 15 samples from the total population. The sample taken is cayenne pepper farmers who produce in 2020. The data analysis is descriptive and uses Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) analysis. The results showed that the results of the analysis on the SWOT matrix obtained coordinates from 1.05 to 0.48 which indicates this coordinate is in quadrant 1, which supports growth strategy. All indicators of strength in the development of cayenne pepper in Tambelang Village have the power to be developed. So that an alternative SO strategy was found, namely establishing good relations between farmers and agricultural institutions, in order to support the success of agricultural and farming development. With the development of increasingly modern technology, as well as the use of facilities and infrastructure that allow to obtain optimal results.

Abstract

The tourist attraction of the Buntudatu pine forest, Mengkendek District, Tana Toraja Regency is an open nature tourism object of limited production forest managed by the Buntudatu Village Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) as a place for activities such as recreation, camping, relaxing. The purpose of this study was to describe and evaluate the potential development of the Buntudatu pine forest tourism object based on the observations and perceptions of visitors. The variables observed were the attractiveness, accessibility and infrastructure of the Buntudatu pine forest tourism object. Data collection methods were carried out through observation and distributing questionnaires to visitors who were found in the tourist area of Buntudatu pine forest as many as 36 respondents. The data obtained were analyzed based on the assessment of ODTWA (Objects of Natural Tourist Attraction) and the Likert scale. The results showed that based on the ODTWA assessment, the potential development of tourism objects in the Buntudatu pine forest area obtained an attractiveness value of 750 in the medium category, accessibility with a total score of 450 in the high category and infrastructure facilities a total score of 300 in the high category. Based on the visitor's perception of attractiveness, it is categorized as good with a score of 72.66%, accessibility has a good category value with a score of 68.69% from respondents, facilities have a good value with a value of 66.66% and tourist activities get a very good score of 100%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the income of tomato farming on former unused land in Taraitak Satu Village, North Langowan District, Minahasa Regency. This research was carried out for 3 months, starting from March to May 2021. The data collected in this study were primary data and secondary data. Sampling was carried out using a simple random sampling method of 10 respondents. The results showed that the income from respondent farmers with an average land area of 0.13 ha was Rp. 37,857,500, while the average total cost was Rp. 13,590,685, so that the total average income of farmers was Rp. 23,221,815. Tomato farming on a former idle land in Taraitak Satu Village received a production price BEP of Rp 120,271 per cash, so the situation was not profit or loss. In fact, the price per cash reached Rp 175,000 per cash, meaning the selling price was above the break-even point and the BEP production volume was obtained. production of 78 cash then the situation is not profit or loss in fact the production reaches 113 cash, this means that production is at the break-even point of production.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the profitability and feasibility of S2R Farming hydroponic vegetable farming in Warukapas Village, Tatelu District, North Minahasa Regency. This research was conducted for 2 months, from March to April 2022. The data analysis method used in this study was quantitative analysis. The quantitative analysis used is the analysis of farm profits by calculating the difference between revenue and production costs in one production for 40 days and analyzing the feasibility of the R/C ratio and calculating the Break Event Point (BEP) of S2R Farming. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained through direct interviews between researchers and business owners, through observation and interviews using direct questionnaires at the S2R Farming research location. Secondary data obtained from books, internet, thesis, journals and other sources. The results showed that the profit of S2R Farming vegetable farming in one production for 40 days was Rp 7,423,427,05, with an R/C value of 2,060. The Break Even Point (BEP) value of S2R Farming vegetable farming is Rp 3,388,769.13. The amount of production that must be obtained by S2R Farming vegetable farming in Warukapas Village in order to break even is 247 packs of pakcoy vegetables and 223 packs of lettuce. So that S2R Farming vegetable farming in Warukapas Village is profitable and feasible to work on.
