Regress: Journal of Economics & Management is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Medan Resource Center. The journal aims to advance theoretical and practical knowledge by promoting high-quality research and providing a platform for researchers, academicians, and practitioners to share their findings, insights, and experiences. The journal publishes scholarly articles and empirical research papers on economics and management. It accepts original research articles, review articles, and case studies that cover a broad range of topics related to the fields of economics and management. The journal is published triannually in June, October, and February, and accepts articles in Bahasa Indonesia or English.

<![CDATA[This article aims to analyze financial ratios in measuring financial performance at PT Pos Indonesia (Persero). Analysis of the company's financial statements can be used as a reference for assessing the company's financial condition. With the analysis, it can be an indicator of a company to make the right decisions so that the company's performance will be better in the future. The instrument for assessing the good or bad condition of the company's finances is ratio analysis. Financial ratios have various types, namely liquidity, solvency, and profitability ratios. This study aims to determine the financial performance of PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) based on financial ratio analysis. The analytical method used is quantitative method and descriptive analysis . The data and information in this research use secondary information obtained through the company's official website in the form of a financial statement document of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) using the measurement of liquidity ratios (quick ratio, current ratio, and cash ratio) as well as one of the ratios, namely profitability (return on assets). , NPM, GPM, and ROE). Based on the liquidity ratio , namely the current ratio can not be said to be good , while the cash ratio analysis shows an increase over the last 3 years so that the condition of the company is categorized in good condition . Meanwhile, based on the profitability ratio, it describes the decline and instability so that it has not yet reached the industry standard that has been set.]]>

<![CDATA[The government in regulating and controlling budget funds must of course look at budget performance which aims to assess and measure the amount of budget realization contained in the financial statements. The Central Statistics Agency of West Aceh is an analysis unit in this study and the 2018-2021 budget realization report is the observation unit. This study uses quantitative descriptive methods that are processed using shopping performance analysis tools including shopping variance analysis, growth analysis, shopping harmony analysis, and shopping efficiency ratio. The results of his research are (1) When viewed from the Variance of Spending from 2018 to 2021, the Central Statistics Agency of West Aceh Regency has made good budget savings and the realization of its budget has never exceeded the budget given; (2) Budget performance in terms of the results of the expenditure growth ratio at bps in West Aceh is not good because the results of the analysis from 2018-2021 showed negative results; (3) In view of the analysis of spending harmony at the Central Statistics Agency of West Aceh Regency during the 2018-2021 fiscal year, the largest use of the expenditure budget is allocated to operating expenditures; (4) Judging from the expenditure efficiency ratio at the Central Statistics Agency of West Aceh Regency during the 2018-2021 fiscal year, it is included in the efficient criteria.]]>

<![CDATA[This article aims to discuss the application of the swot blue ocean strategy method at PT. Mandala Multifinance Tbk. Meulaboh Branch. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method that tries to find out what types and models of strategies are used by Mandala Multifinance in an effort to increase the company's sales. This type of data collection technique is carried out by means of observation and interviews. From this research, we find out what types and models of strategies are being used by Mandala Multifinance to increase sales of its products. The analysis is carried out using four-step work such as the elimination process, so there are no factors that need to be eliminated. For the step of reducing it is also concluded that there are no factors that need to be reduced. For steps to improve, the company needs to increase product innovation and promotion. For the step of creating, the company needs to create several factors such as accepting design suggestions from customers and being able to provide unique forms of service as well as creating new types of multi-finance products that are in great demand by customers.]]>

<![CDATA[This article describes the queuing system for passport management services at the Immigration Office Class I TPI Banda Aceh. Queue can be interpreted as a long queue of service recipients who need services from one or more service facilities. Queues occur because of an imbalance between those served and their services. Some community service users at the Immigration Office Class I TPI Banda Aceh were annoyed because of the long queues to receive immigration document services and sometimes canceled them. The purpose of this study is to optimize the queuing system in the passport management service at the Immigration Office Class I TPI Banda Aceh so that there are no long queues. The queuing system is optimized with a simulation approach using discrete event simulation. The simulation results show that the best value obtained in the proposed scenario simulation model is to add queue lines to the queuing system. The results obtained are by increasing the queue line from 1 to 2 so that the queue length is reduced from 91.2068 people per hour to 54.1520 and 50.8887 people per hour.]]>

<![CDATA[This article aims to analyze the contribution of Islamic higher education institutions in the development of Islamic banks in Medan City. The development of Islamic banks over the past five years can be seen in the financial reports which have increased but not accompanied by an increase in the market share of Islamic banks and are still lagging behind other Muslim-majority countries. Islamic higher education institutions which are educational institutions required to contribute to the development of Islamic banks. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of the study show that Islamic tertiary institutions, namely UINSU and UMSU, have contributed to the development of Islamic banks in the city of Medan by: increasing the number of customers, providing human resources and increasing cooperation networks, these contributions show that UINSU and UMSU have made various efforts to help development of sharia banks in the form of cooperation, namely: Payment of student tuition fees, payment of lecturer salaries and allowances, apprenticeships for students and opening of mini-banks within universities.]]>

<![CDATA[This article aims to discuss the phenomenon of open unemployment in West Aceh District seen from the variable factors of the minimum wage and the human development index (IPM). The problem with the phenomenon of open unemployment that occurs is the large number of open unemployed graduates caused by minimum wage factors and the human development index (IPM). The research method used is a secondary time series data type in the period 2012-2020. This research is a quantitative study using a multiple linear regression analysis model. The results of the study show that the minimum wage in West Acah Regency has a significant negative effect on open unemployment and for the Human Development Index (IPM) it has a significant negative effect on open unemployment.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of rupiah currency performance and garlic stock on the formation of garlic prices in sukaramai traditional market, medan city. Quantitative methods and associative approaches are used in this study, questionnaires are used as data collection techniques, and the population and sample are 60 people. The data analysis method used multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that the Rupiah Currency Performance Variable (X1) has a significant effect on Price Formation which has been proven by the t-count value of 2,399. This value is greater than t table (1.67203) with a value of t sig (0.001) < 0.05, the garlic stock variable (X2) has a significant influence on price formation, this is evidenced by the t-count value of 4,066. This value is greater than t table (1.67203) with a value of t sig (0.000) < 0.05. Based on the results of the third hypothesis test, it is known that the significant value of 5.531 is greater than F table (2.77) with F sig (0.000) < 0.05. The results of this study indicate that the rupiah currency performance variable and Garlic Stock have a significant effect on the simultaneous formation of garlic prices.]]>

<![CDATA[This article aims to discuss the influence of competence and motivation on the performance (BPKD) of Simeulue Regency. This research was carried out using quantitative associative methods. The subject of this research is the apparatus of the Regional Financial Management Agency (BPKD) of Simeulue Regency, while the object of this research is the competence, motivation, and financial performance of the Simeulue Regency BPKD. The type of data in the research carried out is primary data in the form of data found from the answers of informants through questionnaire transmission. Secondary data is available through various library lists, and research results through electronic means. The data in this study are in the form of competence, motivation, and regional financial performance data from the Simeulue Regency BPKD Office. Regarding the data collection techniques needed in this study, namely (1) questionnaires, (2) preparation of licenses, (3) interview questionnaires in a study that certainly needs to fulfill claims of validity and reliability. In research, instrument experiments are carried out in institutions in order to obtain data precision. The analysis required is multiple regression analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, which is an analytical technique that is applied when the dependent variable is caused by more than one variable.]]>

<![CDATA[This article aims to discuss the Online Single Submission (OSS) for Business Permits at DPMPTSP Nagan Raya Regency. The research was conducted in Nagan Raya to see how acceptable Online Single Submission (OSS) as a solution for obtaining business permits was accepted by service users. OSS is then analyzed using the Technology Acceptance Model/TAM to see which constructs are most influential in the process of accepting this technology to replace conventional service processes. A total of 73 research respondents were involved in this study taken from entrepreneurs who use business license processing services at DPMPTSP Nagan Raya. All constructs of research variables were tested using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method and the results obtained showed that behavior intention occupies a position as the dominant construct affecting technology acceptance behavior.]]>

<![CDATA[Technostress is defined as the stress experienced by individuals due to their use of information systems and represents a phenomenon that examines how and why the use of information systems causes individuals to experience various demands that they find stressful. This research develops a framework for looking at the technostress experienced by individual civil servants at the Nagan Raya District Social Service. This research first reviews and critically analyzes the current state of research on technostress reported in journals from management disciplines studying stress in organizations (eg, organizational behavior and psychological stress). This study outlines 3 key ideas embodied in the existing technostress literature. First, it develops the argument that technostress can lead to positive outcomes such as greater effectiveness and innovation in the workplace. These two things show that instead of limiting the role of information systems technology to being a stressor in the technostress phenomenon this should be expanded to increase the positive effects and reduce the negative effects of technostress through proper design. These three matters lay the groundwork to guide future research in technostress through an interdisciplinary framework that enriches the human resources perspective of the psychological stress literature through discourse on potential disciplinary exchanges.]]>
