Abstract

In facing intense competition in the repair service industry, UD. MBS Audio needs to engage in continuous efforts to enhance service quality and understand the changing dynamics of customer needs. Therefore, the aim of this research is to identify and improve service quality, as well as to design an action plan to enhance services at UD. MBS Audio. This research utilizes the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method as a tool to translate customer expectations related to product or service quality. From the calculation results using the IPA method, Quadrant IV is identified as the top priority because it is considered highly important by customers and requires special attention as its performance has not yet reached optimal satisfaction levels. Critical attributes in Quadrant IV include P1, P5, and P10. A thorough evaluation of service quality, divided into four quadrants based on the IPA method, indicates that attributes in Quadrant IV (Top Priority) need continuous improvement to enhance their performance. The company's main focus should be on sustained improvement efforts to enhance the performance of these attributes, such as the cleanliness and tidiness of the facilities provided by UD. MBS Audio, providing satisfactory service results according to customer preferences, and offering guaranteed warranties.

Abstract

PT. Suri Tani Pemuka (STP) is a pond company in Banyuwangi that has various departments according to their tasks and functions, one of which is the mechanical and electrical (ME) department. In carrying out its tasks, the ME department heavily relies on the need for spare parts in repairing machine breakdowns in the workshop. However, there is a constraint faced, namely the delay of spare parts in repairing water turbine machine breakdowns due to lack of inventory control, especially for water turbine machine spare parts. Therefore, the Active Based Coasting (ABC) and Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) methods are used to solve this problem. The aim of this research is to determine the level of spare parts inventory based on cost, the level of spare parts inventory based on forecasting results, and to determine the ideal economic ordering calculation in spare parts inventory. The results of implementing ABC still show delays in spare parts inventory. After being improved using EOQ, the EOQ calculation results are as follows: Gear box gear 13 units, Gear box bearing 41 units, Turbine fan 6 units, Electric motor bearing 19 units, Seal cover 19 units, Oil seal 38 units, Turbine clutch 4 units. The implementation of the EOQ method in the inventory system or application shows that its use can reduce the expenditure of ordering goods more efficiently and effectively than relying solely on the ABC method.

Abstract

With increasingly advanced technology nowadays, it become easier for people to shop. Previously we had to shop in person, now thanks to technology we can shop online with E-Commerce. E-Commerce provides an opportunity for producers to promote their products to be more accessible and makes it easier for consumers to share activities such as shopping and providing reviews. Reviews play an important role in a product, especially in building consumer confidence in choosing the desired product. Therefore, sentiment analysis is needed to help choose an E-Commerce application. Here the author will carry out Sentiment Analysis using Machine Learning. The purpose of this research is to conclude and identify whether a review is a positive review or a negative review. The algorithm used in this research is Naïve Bayes and Decision Tree using TF-IDF. The research results obtained are that the Naïve Bayes algorithm has higher accuracy with an accuracy of 0.88 or around 88%, and the negative label has a precision prediction result of 0.87, recall has 1.00, fi-score has 0.93, and finally with support 26, while the positive label with precision prediction results has 1.00, recall has 0.33, fi-score has 0.50, and the last one has support 6.

Abstract

Interactive dashboards emerge as an effective solution to meet these needs by providing real-time visual displays of business performance and enabling users to explore data easily. Despite the increasing demand for interactive dashboards, many organizations still face challenges in developing and managing dashboards according to their needs. This study aims to develop an interactive dashboard for monitoring product sales that aligns with business objectives, using a case study of Adidas shoe sales with data obtained from www.keggle.com. The methodology employed in this research involves two processes: system analysis and system design. The findings of this research present a data analysis dashboard for Adidas shoe sales, including sales data, profit, revenue, and total sales data per month and per region for each product. The successful development of interactive dashboards is expected to provide significant benefits, including increased operational efficiency, cost savings, and enhanced competitiveness in the market

Abstract

Sentiment analysis of YouTube video recordings has become important in this increasingly technologically advanced era to understand users' reactions and opinions on various topics, including politics. Rapfight videos, especially those related to the presidential election, are one type of content that often attracts attention. This research uses the Naïve Bayes algorithm to assess the sentiment of comments on the video "Epic Rap Battle of Presidency 2024" on the YouTube site. The algorithms used in this research are Naïve Bayes Classifier and Support Vector Machine (SVM). There are five processes in this research, namely collecting YouTube comment data, preprocessing, labeling, classification, implementation and testing. From 3650 comment data on YouTube regarding the video "Epic Rap Battle of Presidency 2024" based on the results of the analysis, it was found that 31% of the comments were positive, 7% of the comments were negative and 62% of the comments were neutral. The accuracy results using the Naïve Bayes Classifier algorithm were 84.82% and the accuracy results using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm got the best results at 93.3%.

Abstract

CV Sinar Mas is a company in the Footwear manufacturing sector. Based on data, demand for footwears fluctuates, causing CV Sinar Mas difficulty in producing the number of raw materials for footwears ordered. The company also has not used an optimal raw material inventory control system. Therefore, the company experienced an excess of raw materials which occurred in November-December 2023, resulting in a buildup of raw materials which caused high production costs and decreased quality because it was too piled up in the warehouse. So, there must be planning and control of the availability of raw materials in order to obtain minimal costs and maintain the quality of raw materials. This research uses the Lot Sizing method, namely LFL (Lot For Lot) and POQ (Period Order Quantity). The goal is to determine the order quantity with minimal costs.

Abstract

This analysis illustrates how changes in warehouse structure affect the smooth operation of a company or factory. At PT. Tjakrindo Mas, there is an irregular arrangement of finished product storage. causing a pile of goods that are not in accordance with the type so that during the retrieval process using a forklift there are difficulties due to the area that is not large so that it must be assisted with a hand pallet to carry the product to a wider area so that it can be reached by a forklift. That way it will waste a lot of time just because of the difficulty of wanting to transport goods. The method to be applied in the storage arrangement is the shared storage method, organised by placing finished products based on the FIFO (First In First Out) principle. This will minimise transport time as well as ensure efficient use of space.

Abstract

Abstract Bu Tutik's cracker-making MSME is one of the cracker-making businesses located in Sidoarjo. This MSME is a business that operates in the manufacture of crackers. The crackers produced are like samiler crackers and puli crackers. This MSME is capable of producing up to 150 kg per month, where the production process still uses manual and simple methods. None of the processes in this MSME use machines for the production process. Productivity measurement is carried out using the OMAX (Objective Matrix) method. Next, analysis is carried out using the FTA (Fault Tree Analysis) method to obtain efforts to increase productivity.

Abstract

The duck farming business is an activity where farmers process ducks to breed and maintain them to obtain benefits and results from this activity. Ducks are quite popular among various groups, from small children to the elderly. UMKM in the Jombang area are located on Jl. Gatot Subroto No. 29A Mojongapit, Jombang. These UMKM are KUB chicken farms and broiler duck hatcheries. Hatching of broiler ducks is carried out using an automatic hatching machine that can turn the eggs automatically. The UMKM hatching machine processes 500 eggs each period. If the temperature and humidity method is not checked periodically, the egg hatching yield will be 75%. If you want to increase the hatching presentation, you can check regularly to reach 80%, but this takes too much time and energy. Therefore, I will make a tool that can regulate the humidity of the incubator. In solving this problem, the QFD method is used to fulfill consumer desires in making tools. Using the QFD method will make the tool making more optimal because before the tool is made a survey is carried out to determine consumer interest. The results of this research are tool designs that are made according to consumer interests.

Abstract

Pak Temmy Rahadi's Tempe UMKM is one of the tempe making UMKM located in Ds. Karangandong, Kec. Kedamean, Gresik. This UMKM was founded in 2010. Mr. Temmy Rahadi's tempe UMKM has a daily tempeh production target of 450 to 600 pcs and uses 80 kg to 100 kg of soybeans for daily production. The majority of customers are market middlemen, penyetan sellers, and home-based people in Kedamean, Gresik. In developing tempe MSMEs, there are various aspects that need to be considered to improve product quality and market competitiveness. One critical aspect is the tempeh packaging process, which plays an important role in ensuring product safety and quality. Currently, Mr. Temmy's tempeh MSMEs are facing significant problems related to the plastic hole punching tool for tempeh packaging which uses a knife in the process before packaging. The tool for punching plastic packaging using a knife requires a long processing time and also the results of the punching are not uniform, resulting in imperfect holes in the plastic packaging, thus making the tempe fermentation process less than optimal. Therefore, researchers are interested in raising this problem. By making a plastic hole punch tool for tempeh packaging, we hope that it will be able to improve the performance of tempeh production. In designing a plastic hole punch tool for tempeh packaging, researchers used ergonomic anthropometric approaches.
