Abstract

On September 16, 2020, landslides occurred in Sorong City covering Sorong District (Klademak, North Remu), North Sorong (Malaingkedi), and Sorong Manoi (Malabutor). The three affected sub-districts are in the Klagison watershed area where the upstream has a fairly steep slope. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of landslide hazard in the Klagison watershed based on the parameters of rainfall, slope, soil type, rock type, and land cover using Geographic Information Systems. The method used is an overlay of five parameters that affect landslides by weighting and scoring to produce a landslide hazard level map. The results showed that the Klagison watershed was divided into three classes of landslide hazard levels: low (1.180,66 Ha), medium (442,45 Ha), and high (244,52 Ha).

Abstract

Saumanganya is the name of a village located in North Pagai District, Mentawai Islands Regency. Saumanganya Village is included in the red zone in the application of the Clean and Healthy Lifestyle (PHBS), especially in the application of the local household environmental waste management system (on site system) individually. On the other hand, there are still many people who do not have waste water management and dispose of their waste directly into rivers, gardens and the sea. In this case, community participation is very much needed in local wastewater management, because the community also plays an active role in producing wastewater. The diverse characteristics of the community will greatly affect the behavior of the community in waste water management. This is closely related to the improvement of public health status. This community activity has the potential to cause environmental pollution, where the main waste comes from households. With a population of 4,141 people consisting of 1,070 houses from 1,082 families. Based on data from the environmental health program in 2021, in Saumanganya Village 15% of the residents still use open defecation (BABS) facilities and the rest are latrine facilities. Seeing this condition, it is appropriate to conduct research that aims to analyze the factors that influence the lifestyle of the people in Saumanganya Village in the application of healthy MCK in accordance with health standards. From the analysis of the lifestyle of the people of Saumanganya Village, it was found that 100% of the people who use MCK according to health standards have not been met due to economic factors 69%, knowledge factors 15%, and 26% are culture/traditions, and 26% lack of education and counseling. about PHBS.

Abstract

Indonesia has proven oil reserves of around 3.7 million barrels but production has been declining unwittingly over the last decade as companies rely solely on the Old Oil Field. PT. SPR Langgak is one of the companies that own the Old Oil Field so it is necessary to develop it to increase production in the Dandelion Field. One of them is the surfactant huff and puff method. However, because surfactants are expensive and this work depends on the economy and oil prices, there need to be more attractive investment options. There is a new investment option prepared by the Government, namely the Gross Split PSC cooperation contract based on Ministerial Regulation no. 52/2017. This study aims to analyze the economic feasibility of Huff and Puff Surfactant Injection using the gross split contract. From the calculation results, the Huff and Puff Surfactant Injection Project at the Dandelion Field is economically feasible to do because it has a large and positive NPV value (NPV = 7,862 M US$, an IRR value greater than the MARR 15% (IRR = 214% and POT value are less than the project life or faster (POT = 1.62 months). Based on the sensitivity analysis, the huff & puff surfactant injection job will be more profitable if the oil price and large oil production. On the other hand, the operating cost is better if the value is small. The lowest limit for oil prices is 28.1 US$/bbl.

Abstract

Initially, tourism was seen as an economic activity, and the main purpose of tourism development was to gain economic benefits, both for the community and the region/country. Tourism has a high impact on people's lives. So the importance of community readiness in tourism development. Knowledge about tourism is needed. Mentoring and also social capital of the community itself for good tourism development. The condition of tourism on Abang Island for six years of existence is still premature. The vacuum of tourism-aware groups makes tourism difficult to develop. The title of this research is social capital of tourism development in Abang Island, Batam, Riau Archipelago. The results of this study show and explain that the social capital of the community on Abang Island does not have the impetus for tourism development. The habit factor of the people on Abang Island can be a driving factor for social capital for tourism development. Position and role factors, education, social class and economic disparities as well as consumption patterns and personal values can hinder social capital in tourism development. In the current conditions, competition for tourism managers is not only among the people who become managers but also competes with resorts on Abang Island. This makes managers implement active, passive and network strategies so that they can still be tourism managers on Abang Island.
