Abstract

The fast advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in recent years has profoundly impacted the academic and research landscape. Among these developments, OpenAI’s ChatGPT, a cutting-edge language model, has been a game-changer for natural language creation and processing. This research review thoroughly investigates the various uses and difficulties related to incorporating ChatGPT into the domains of academia and research. ChatGPT is a flexible language model that shows promise across multiple research fields, from text summarization and language translation to supporting the automation of literature reviews. The review aims to objectively evaluate ChatGPT’s impact on academic writing processes by examining how it contributes to draft creation, writing assistance, and manuscript improvement. Furthermore, the effect of the model on education is reviewed, exploring its possible contributions to personalized education, intelligent tutoring systems, and language learning help. Though the assessment highlights the need for responsible deployment, it also discusses ethical issues, potential biases, and inherent limitations in its promising uses. This research review paves the path for future innovations and informed usage of ChatGPT within academic and research contexts by combining insights into the advantages and problems of the platform. It also provides a comprehensive awareness of the existing landscape.

Abstract

One of the important aspects in cocoa cultivation is productivity, as it is related to the ability of national cocoa producers to meet market demand. Cocoa productivity is affected by many factors, including climate factors. On this basis, this study aims to determine the trend of national cocoa productivity and climatic factors (maximum temperature, minimum temperature, mean temperature, and rainfall) and to determine the influence of climatic factors on cocoa productivity. By applying a descriptive method, this research utilized secondary data with a time span between 1961-2021, which were analyzed using quadratic regression model. From the analysis, it was clear that there had been increasing tendency for national cocoa productivity, maximum temperature, minimum temperature, mean temperature and rainfall from year to year. Meanwhile, the climatic factors that affect cocoa productivity are the maximum temperature, minimum temperature, and mean temperature with an optimum point of 30.53°C; 21.31°C and 25.87°C respectively. Temperature generally has a negative effect on cocoa productivity, although it does not have a big impact. However, continuous exposure to temperature will lead to a more harmful threat to cocoa productivity. This research contributes to the use of non-linear regression analysis, especially quadratic regression model in determining climatic factors that influence cocoa productivity in Indonesia, considering that not many studies have used similar model.

Abstract

In Indonesia, there is one crime that occurs in the environment of children, known as the crime of abuse or often known as bullying. Bullying cases not only require national law but also customary law. In principle, the settlement of cases in customary criminal law with national law, especially in the handling of crimes committed by children, is the same as in national law in resolving cases using restorative justice whose resolution involves the perpetrator, victim, family of the perpetrator/victim and other parties. Related parties to jointly seek a just solution. In customary criminal law, a similar approach is taken by Adat leaders involving perpetrators, victims, families of perpetrators/victims and other related parties to seek Settlement based on Awig-awig, agreed upon and also using the norms prevailing in Adat people. In the process, it is carried out before the case in question is brought to court, while the settlement through restorative justice is carried out with trial proceedings. The sanction in customary crimes will be imposed if the person concerned repeats the same mistake. In this study, the autors uses normative legal research, which focuses on positive legal norms, the Child Criminal Justice System and Costumary law in Bali, especially Klungkung and Tabanan areas.

Abstract

This bibliometric analysis investigates the evolution and thematic structuring of research concerning the implementation of character education in school curricula. Utilizing data sourced from major academic databases from 1893 to 2024, this study maps out the academic discourse through VOSviewer. Our findings identify distinct thematic clusters such as curriculum integration, ethical considerations, and the role of character education within religious and civic education. Temporal trends indicate a shift from foundational discussions to a focus on the implicit dimensions of character education, such as the hidden curriculum and character-building across educational levels. Potential future research opportunities were identified in less explored areas such as independent and culturally specific curricula. The analysis of the author collaboration network reveals a robust community with significant interconnections among key scholars, highlighting both dense clusters and emerging researchers. Overall, this study offers a comprehensive overview of the field, demonstrating its dynamic evolution and the collaborative nature of research that contributes to ongoing debates and educational practices in character education. This work not only charts historical and current trends but also provides direction for future scholarly endeavors in this vital area of educational research.
