Abstract

The development of the modern world of work requires students to have practical skills relevant to industry needs. This study aims to determine the relationship between demographics and mentorship quality in influencing student internship satisfaction and Employability. In addition, this study aims to examine the role of internship satisfaction as a mediator between demographics and mentor quality at Infinite Learning company. This study was conducted using quantitative methods in the form of an online questionnaire with 121 respondents from the student intern population. This study was analyzed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to evaluate the relationship between variables. The results of the analysis show that mentor quality has an effect on student internship satisfaction, and internship satisfaction has a significant impact on student employability. Mentor quality affects Employability through the mediation of internship satisfaction. However, demographic factors did not show a significant effect on internship satisfaction and Employability. Demographics had no effect on Employability through internship satisfaction as a mediating variable. This study emphasizes the importance of mentorship quality in improving internship experience and students' readiness to enter the job market. For further research, it is recommended to explore more deeply the factors that influence Employability outside the context of student internship by including information related to long-term career development. This more comprehensive approach is expected to provide more accurate information on the influence of various factors on interns' work readiness and improve the effectiveness of internship programs in the future.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between capital adequacy and the implementation of governance on BPR performance with liquidity as a mediating variable. In scientific research, quantitative research is applied, with the resulting numerical data being analyzed statistically. The data used are regional data, namely the Capital Adelqulacy Ratio (CAR), the results of assessments of governance implementation, Loan to Delposit Ratio (LDR) and Ratio on Assets (ROA) of BPRs in East Java in the time period from January 2017 to December 2023. This research is carried out Inferential statistical analysis method. The ultimate data analysis process uses techniquesSEM (Structural Equation Modelling) PLS (Partial Last Squularel) and carried out through 2 (dula) models, namely the pengukuran model (outer model) and the struktural model (inner model). The research results show that capital abundance has a significant effect on BPR financial performance and BPR liquidity. The implementation of governance has had a significant positive impact on the company's financial performance but has not had a significant impact on BPR liquidity. The results of the research show that liquidity does not play a significant role as a mediator between governance and financial performance in the BPR context. Keywords:   Good Corporate Governance, Liquidity, Capital Adequacy, Implementation of Governance, Financial Performance

Abstract

The study aim to examine the correlation between positive emotions and happiness in the context of mental health, with psychological capital serving as a mediating factor. The subject of this study is a student enrolled at Universitas  Bung Hatta Padang. Within the realm of student life, positive emotions and happiness are frequently recognized as significant elements that impact their psychological capital. Nevertheless, there is limited research that has investigated the mechanisms underlying this link, namely the mediating role of psychological capital. This study employs a quantitative research design utilizing a survey methodology, which includes a diverse group of students from different faculties at Universitas Bung Hatta Padang. Information is gathered by using a modified questionnaire based on previously approved tools. Research hypotheses are tested by employing multiple regression analysis techniques. The findings indicate that experiencing positive emotions and happiness has a beneficial impact on the mental health of students. Furthermore, research has demonstrated that psychological capital plays a crucial intermediary role in the connection between positive emotions, happiness, and mental health. The practical ramifications of this research indicate that colleges should establish a campus atmosphere that fosters positive emotions, and allocate resources towards initiatives that seek to enhance psychological capital. Keywords : positive emotions; psychological capital; happiness; mental health

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the factors that influence consumers in purchasing halal-labeled products in West Langsa District. The method used is quantitative and qualitative data, with data sources consisting of primary data and secondary data. The number of respondents was determined at 100 people, selected using accidental random sampling technique. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression methods, t test, F test, and coefficient of determination. The results of the t test show that product knowledge and perception of the halal label have a positive and significant influence on the decision to purchase products labeled halal, while religiosity has a positive and insignificant influence on the decision to purchase products labeled halal. The results of the F test show that product knowledge, perception of halal labels, and religiosity together have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions for products labeled halal. The independent variable that has the greatest influence on the decision to purchase halal products is product knowledge. Five variables are discussed, namely:  Green satisfaction (GS), Green Image (GI), WOM, Loyalty, and Green Trust (GT).  The type of research in this study is quantitative causal research. The population of this study were people who had stayed at hotels in West Sumatra. At the same time, the sampling technique used in this research is non-probability sampling. Based on the hypothesis testing proposed, the path analysis technique was used in this study. The first hypothesis is that GT has no significant effect on GS.  The second hypothesis is that WOM has a positive impact on GS. The third hypothesis, GI has a substantial effect on GS. The fourth hypothesis, GT is having no significant impact on Loyalty. The fifth hypothesis, WOM has a positive impact on Loyalty. The sixth hypothesis, GI has a positive impact on Loyalty. The seventh hypothesis, GS has a positive impact on Loyalty. The eighth hypothesis, GS is unable to mediate GT on loyalty. The ninth hypothesis, GS is able to mediate the WOM relationship on loyalty.
