Dalam menghadapi persaingan yang semakin ketat, Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) perlu mengembangkan strategi bisnis yang kuat. Penelitian ini meneliti Konveksi Berkah, sebuah kewirausahaan sosial yang mengalami penurunan produksi, terutama selama pandemi COVID-19. Pendekatan yang digunakan untuk membantu Konveksi Berkah bertahan dan berkembang adalah dengan merumuskan model bisnis melalui analisis SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) guna mengidentifikasi faktor internal dan eksternal yang memengaruhi bisnis ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kewirausahaan sosial Konveksi Berkah menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa strategi bisnis Konveksi Berkah melibatkan pendekatan agresif atau strategi SO (Strengths-Opportunities), dimana Konveksi Berkah memaksimalkan kekuatannya untuk memanfaatkan peluang yang ada. Langkah-langkah strategis termasuk inovasi, terutama dalam pemasaran dengan mengadopsi digitalisasi, serta mempertahankan kualitas produk dengan harga yang terjangkau. Selain itu, upaya mempertahankan dan mengembangkan sumber daya fisik dan non-fisik yang dimiliki akan membantu Konveksi Berkah dalam mempertahankan posisinya, bersaing dengan pesaing, dan terus berinovasi, sehingga mengonfirmasi statusnya sebagai kewirausahaan sosial yang juga beroperasi sebagai bagian dari sektor UMKM.

This research examines the influence of moral understanding and moral obligations on tax compliance with socialization as moderation for MSMEs in the Tanjungpinang City area. This research analyzes primary questionnaire data from 100 MSME respondents' answers in the Tanjungpinang City area. Testing research variables uses multiple linear regression analysis and moderated regression analysis (MRA). Moral obligations influence taxpayer compliance. Meanwhile, taxpayer understanding has no effect on taxpayer compliance. And socialization can moderate taxpayers' understanding and moral obligations towards mandatory compliance. The research results are expected to be taken into consideration by tax authorities to increase tax socialization to increase taxpayer compliance.

Brand identity is an important aspect in the world of business and marketing. A strong brand identity can help a company differentiate itself from competitors, create an emotional connection with customers, and influence their perception of the products or services offered. In the current era of globalization and digitalization, brand identity is becoming increasingly relevant to gain customer attention and loyalty. This research was conducted to explain; (1) Providing a strong brand identity can provide a significant competitive advantage. Companies with a cohesive and positive brand identity tend to be more successful in retaining customers, attracting new customers, and maintaining their market share. (2) Knowing brand identity can help understand the relationship between strong brand identity and customer loyalty. Customers who feel emotionally connected to a brand are more likely to remain loyal and contribute to a company's long-term revenue; (3) knowing brand identity can also play an important role in company growth. With a strong brand, companies can more easily expand their products or services into new markets and attract investors or potential business partners. Data collection techniques focus on initial surveys, determining the problem formulation, determining research methods, processing and analyzing data, and creating a final report. The results of research on brand identity design for a company include visual communications such as logos, colors and graphic designs, as well as brand narratives in marketing messages, all of which contribute to brand identity. It is hoped that the findings of this research can provide recommendations that logos are very important in building a brand's identity.

This study focuses on the key roles played by talent management and knowledge management in improving employee performance, with employee engagement as the mediator variable. Talent management practices, which include career planning, incentives, and organizational support, were found to have a significant influence on employee performance. The main recommendation is to strengthen talent management practices by placing more emphasis on internal talent identification and development, as well as more structured career development programs. Although knowledge management does not have a significant direct influence on employee performance, this study emphasizes the importance of evaluating knowledge management practices. The research uses a quantitative descriptive method. Descriptive methods are used to collect data that can test hypotheses or provide answers to questions related to individual views on certain issues or topics. This method is used to describe and analyze data obtained from respondents in the context of talent management, knowledge management, and its relationship with employee performance and employee engagement. Efforts should be focused on effective knowledge collection, storage and distribution to ensure operational efficiency and continuous employee development. The research then recommends training employees in knowledge management. This will help improve employees' ability to manage and access relevant knowledge, which in turn will improve work efficiency. It is important to note that companies should adopt a proactive approach in regular monitoring and evaluation of factors that affect employee performance. As such, they can identify changes in organizational dynamics and adjust their strategies accordingly. This research provides valuable insights for companies in optimizing employee performance and meeting increasingly complex market demands.

This research delves into the challenges faced by a hospitality IT vendor providing services to a diverse clientele in Indonesia. The vendor, relying on profits from clients for operational and developmental activities, needs help with the billing process. The complexities arise from various payment schemes, including full payments and installments, coupled with the annual requirement for clients to purchase a maintenance key for continued system access. The existing transaction process experiences delays due to difficulties searching for invoice data among numerous clients with varying payment times. These delays hinder the timely collection of subsequent payments, resulting in receivables and potential disruptions to the vendor's cash flow for operational and developmental costs. Traditional bill recording methods compound the problem with inaccuracies and data retrieval challenges The findings of this research is a web-based application developed through the SDLC prototyping model to address these issues. The application, evaluated through User Acceptance Testing (UAT), successfully overcame the challenges. The results indicate that the application efficiently manages invoice data, facilitates timely payments, and enhances overall accuracy in data processing. In conclusion, the web-based application is an optimal solution, resolving invoice management issues and streamlining processes for the hospitality IT vendor.

This research proposed a framework to identify the impact of social enterprise on local communities in Tasikmalaya. Research on the impact of social enterprise on society in dealing with poverty problems, has been carried out in different locations, but no one has researched the impact of social enterprise in the Tasikmalaya area. Therefore, it is necessary to research the impact of the existence of a social enterprise on the surrounding community and in dealing with social problems that occur in the area around the existence of the social enterprise. This research used qualitative methods by collecting data through observation and in-depth interviews with social enterprise actors and the surrounding community. The results of the research showed that there are four roles of social enterprise that can be identified in Tasikmalaya, and five impacts of social enterprise on the recipient communities are found. In general, social enterprises have a positive impact on society in economic, social and environmental aspects.

This research aims to determine the influence of infrastructure and the Human Development Index on labor absorption and its implications for economic growth in the Riau Islands. The analysis model used is Path Analysis. The data used is a time series and cross-section from 7 districts and cities from 2011 to 2021 in the Riau Islands. Research results show that the Human Development Index (HDI) positively influences labor absorption. A high HDI will produce quality and productive human resources in increasing labor absorption to increase economic output. Different findings from this research show that infrastructure has a negative effect on economic growth in the Riau Islands. It is possible that the infrastructure proxied by road transportation infrastructure in the research does not have a large economic impact on the Riau island because the transportation that is widely used in inter-island economic activities uses sea transportation which requires quite large costs.

This research aims to find out the effect of working capital turnover on profitability as measured by return on assets, return on equity, and net profit margin using the firm size control variable due to the inconsistency of results and the lack of related research. 5980 observations from manufacturing companies in five ASEAN countries that published financial reports on their respective stock exchanges in the 2012-2016 period were the sample for this research. This sample was then tested for multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity first and then the multiple regression method with a fixed effect model was used to find out the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable. The research results found that working capital turnover did not affect the profitability of manufacturing companies in ASEAN. Thus, it is recommended that companies use other liquidity strategies that can be proven to influence profitability. It is recommended that further research be carried out using other variables or in different countries and research periods.

Entrepreneurship refers to the process or individual actions of creating, developing, and managing a new venture or business with the aim of achieving financial gain. Understanding of entrepreneurship includes business concepts, business development strategies, operational management, finance, marketing, as well as leadership and communication skills. This research is a literature study which aims to identify and explore the influence of knowledge on Vocational High School (SMK) students' interest in entrepreneurship, using a qualitative descriptive approach to seven scientific articles. The research method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the steps, namely compiling a Research Question (RQ), searching for relevant literature, conducting a review, analyzing the findings. The aim of this study is to determine the influence of entrepreneurship education on vocational high school students' interest in entrepreneurship. The research results show that entrepreneurial knowledge has a positive and significant influence on vocational school students' interest in entrepreneurship.

The main aim of this research is to provide a deeper understanding of how wise capacity planning can become a key success factor across various industrial sectors. It can have a positive impact on organizations by achieving optimal operational efficiency and delivering services or products that satisfy consumers. This study employs a qualitative approach focusing on literature review to explore and comprehend capacity strategies in a comparative context between manufacturing and service industries. Capacity planning holds significant importance for the expansion of all companies, particularly those operating in industrial sectors. Businesses can leverage these strategies to meet client needs, save on operational costs, and facilitate sustainable expansion. It’s crucial for companies to comprehend and address current obstacles. Key factors include accurate demand forecasting, effective company constrain management, and the ability to adapt and respond to market fluctuations. In today’s era of digitalization, companies have opportunities to employ sophisticated technologies like ERP, big data analytics, and machine learning to effectively achieve their capacity planning goals. Implementing these tools can result in more accurate forecasting and enable faster adaptation to market fluctuations. To enhance operational efficiency and align output with business objectives, companies need to engage in effective planning.
