Abstract

This study discusses the factors that influence the demand for tempeh in Sukamanunggal District, Surabaya City. The independent variables consist of the price of tempe, the price of white tofu, the level of income, the type of tempe, and the number of dependents while the dependent variable is the demand for tempe. This study uses quantitative methods, and the sample used is 398 respondents with the slovin calculation formula. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression. The results of the simultaneous test of this study showed that the price of tempeh, the price of white tofu, the level of income, the type of tempeh, and the number of dependents had a significant influence on the level of demand for tempeh in the community of Sukamanunggal District, Surabaya City. The partial test results show that the price of tempeh, the price of white tofu, and the level of income have a positive and significant influence on the level of demand for tempeh in the community of Sukamanunggal District, Surabaya City. While the type of tempe, and the number of dependents have a negative and significant effect on the level of demand for tempeh in the community of Sukamanunggal District, Surabaya City.

Abstract

The ethics in the implementation of economic policies emphasize the direction of justice, goodness, as well as knowing what should and should not be done in an economic activity involving all humans within it (Akhsan, 2020). This research aims to explore the issues of ideas and the implementation of Pancasila Economics adopted in the economic life of the Republic of Indonesia. The analysis of Pancasila Economics is based on the principles of utilitarian ethics derived from the thoughts of Jeremy Bentham (1748-1832). The research problem is formulated as how the ethical position of Pancasila Economics in Indonesia is in the analysis of Jeremy Bentham's utilitarian ethics. This study aims to explore the ethical position of Pancasila Economics based on utilitarian ethics principles within the framework of ideas and implementation. The method to achieve these goals and answer the issues is cross-sectional with a qualitative approach. The results of this research indicate a disparity in the ethical position of Pancasila Economics as an idea/concept compared to its implementation in economic policies in Indonesia.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan dan perkembangan pembangunan ekonomi di wilayah pedesaan beberapa tahun belakangan ini terlihat mengalami perubahan yang sangat drastis ke arah yang lebih baik bisa dikatakan mengalami peningkatan dalam pembangunan ekonomi seperti di negara-negara berkembang contohnya adalah negara kita, Indonesia. Perkembangan pembangunan ekonomi yang mengalami peningkatan adalah pembangunan dibidang perkebunan dan pertanian. Dalam hal ini pembangunan ekonomi harus melibatkan upaya masyarakat khususnya yang ada di pedesaan secara menyeluruh yang masih dalam usia produktif untuk bekerja, hal ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bisnis dan usaha serta untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan Masyarakat. Perkebunan kelapa sawit adalah salah satu tanaman yang paling banyak kita temui di Indonesia terkhusus Provinsi Riau, dan lebih tepatnya di salah satu desa yang terdapat di provinsi Riau yaitu desa Redang Seko kecamatan Lirik Di daerah seperti ini banyak penduduk yang mempunyai lahan untuk perkebunan kelapa sawit, sehingga mata pencaharian masyarakat pada umumnya adalah bertani sawit, selain bertani ada juga yang bekerja sebagai pemanen buah kelapa sawit. Setelah dipanen kelapa sawit tersebut disalurkan ke RAM (peron) langsung dan ada yang disalurkan terlebih dahulu ke pengepul atau tengkulak setelah itu baru di salurkan ke peron (RAM) yang untuk selanjutnya di salurkan ke pabrik kelapa sawit untuk pengolahan lebih lanjut. Dari hasil penelitian dan analisis yang dilakukan oleh peneliti, pembahasan yang dipaparkan secara deskripstif melalui penelitian kualitatif yang berhubungan dengan dampak usaha RAM kelapa sawit Tiga Putra terhadap kesejahteraan para pekerja di desa Redang Seko. Adanya RAM kelapa sawit ini telah terbukti dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan para pekerja., hal ini dapat dilihat dari upah yang diperoleh para pekerja dari pihak RAM tersebut sudah sesuai dengan UMK. Dengan terjaminnya kesejahteraan para pekerja maka pekerja dapat memenuhi semua kebutuhan keluarga, bahkan semangat untuk bekerja para pekerja bertambah jikalau pihak RAM bisa terus berusaha memperhatikan kesejahteraan para pekerja dan menjalin hubungan yang baik antar pihak peron dengan para pekerja.
