Abstract

Church music has, from the beginning, been a vital element in the life of Christians not merely as a complement to worship, but as a means of praise, worship, teaching, and the strengthening of faith. In the digital era, music has undergone a transformation in its production and distribution through various online platforms such as YouTube, Spotify, and social media, enabling congregants to access spiritual songs anytime and anywhere. This transformation presents a significant opportunity for faith formation but also brings risks, such as decreased active participation, a shift in the meaning of worship, and the consumption of theologically shallow content. This paper discusses the role of church music in shaping the faith of believers in the digital era by highlighting the dynamics, challenges, and potential brought about by technological developments. Through an analysis of the functions of music in worship, an understanding of Christian faith, and the church's adaptation in the digital age, this study emphasizes that church music still holds great potential as a tool for spiritual formation when properly directed. Grounded in the Word of God and supported by a contextual approach, music can continue to be a living medium to build, strengthen, and deepen the faith of the congregation, even in a world increasingly connected through digital means.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the traditional wedding attire of the Banjar ethnic group in South Kalimantan as a representation of local culture rich in aesthetic, philosophical, and Islamic values. There are three main types of Banjar traditional bridal wear: Bagajah Gamuling Baular Lulut, Ba’amar Galung Pancar Matahari, and Babajukun Galung, each of which carries historical significance, symbolic meaning, and has undergone stylistic developments over time. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this research employs literature studies and documentation, grounded in cultural theory and Islamic principles. The findings reveal that while early forms of these attires were influenced by Hindu-Buddhist elements, the process of Islamization has led to modifications that align with Islamic teachings, particularly in terms of modesty and covering the body (aurat). In addition to preserving traditional elements, contemporary Banjar society has adapted these outfits to accommodate hijab-wearing brides. This study highlights the importance of preserving traditional bridal attire as a cultural heritage that harmonizes with both religious values and modern sensibilities.

Abstract

Clothing is a basic human necessity that continues to evolve with changing trends and lifestyles. One of the emerging trends today is thrifting, which refers to the buying and selling of second-hand clothing, increasingly popular among teenagers. OneTrif is a thrifting clothing sales platform based in Jayapura, Papua, designed to provide easier access for the community to branded clothing at affordable prices. However, its management faces several challenges, such as manual sales processes, difficulties in stock management, and a lack of transparency in transaction recording. To address these issues, a thrifting sales information system has been developed using the Waterfall methodology, which includes requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance phases. The system design is structured using context diagrams, hierarchical diagrams, overview diagrams, and Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) to ensure a clear and efficient process flow. The results of this study are expected to provide an optimal solution for OneTrif in managing transactions, speeding up sales processes, and enhancing user experience in digital thrifting shopping.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a web-based sales information system at Ruangtu7u Café in Jayapura, Papua. The problem faced by the café is the sales transaction process which is still done manually, such as recording orders and payments made in a tabulation book, so it is prone to recording errors, data manipulation, and difficulties in managing raw material stock. To overcome these problems, a sales information system was developed using the Waterfall method, which consists of the stages of needs analysis, system design using UML, implementation with the PHP programming language and MySQL/phpMyAdmin database, testing using the Blackbox method, and system implementation and maintenance. The results of this study indicate that the information system built is able to improve operational efficiency, transaction accuracy, and ease in preparing sales reports and stock management. In addition, the system has an interface that is easy to use by cashiers and management. This study contributes to overcoming manual transaction problems and supporting the digitalization of sales management in the small and medium enterprise (SME) sector, especially in the culinary field.

Abstract

The development of information technology has driven the digitalisation of various service sectors, including household electronic services. This study aims to design and develop a web-based service information system capable of replacing the manual recording process currently used by small and medium-sized enterprises. This system is designed to simplify the service recording process, track repair status, manage customer data, and generate reports automatically and in real-time. The development method used is Rapid Application Development (RAD), which emphasises rapid and iterative system development with direct user involvement at every stage. RAD consists of four main stages: requirement planning, user design, rapid construction, and cutover. System design was carried out using Data Flow Diagrams (DFD) and Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD) to model business processes and databases. Implementation was done using web-based PHP and MySQL technology, along with a responsive interface using the Bootstrap framework. The final results of the system demonstrate improved efficiency in service management, transparency in repair processes, and easier access to information for business owners. This system is expected to serve as an effective digital solution that can be further developed according to needs.

Abstract

Libraries are an important component in supporting the teaching and learning process in educational institutions, including at the University of Science and Technology (USN) Papua. To improve the efficiency of data management and information services, a structured and easily developed web-based library information system is needed. This study aims to design a library information system using the Unified Modelling Language (UML) approach as a modelling tool. The diagrams used include activity diagrams and class diagrams to illustrate business processes such as book data management, member management, borrowing, returning, and reporting. The modelling results show a systematic workflow and the interrelationships between entities in the system. With this modelling, it is hoped that the development of a library information system at USN Papua can be carried out more effectively and support digital transformation in academic services.

Abstract

FilmyLab Jayapura is a documentation service company that relies on equipment such as cameras and visual equipment. The absence of an inventory recording system causes frequent losses and irregularities in the use of equipment. This study aims to develop a web-based inventory information system to record borrowing and returning activities in real-time. The system is built using the Waterfall method through the stages of analysis, design (ERD and diagrams), implementation using PHP Laravel and MySQL, and blackbox testing. The implementation results show that the system is able to increase efficiency, transparency, and facilitate inventory monitoring through data management features, transactions, and visual reports.

Abstract

The issues of efficiency and accuracy in transaction recording remain major obstacles for small and medium-sized enterprises, particularly in the retail sector such as souvenir shops. Many of them still use manual recording methods, which not only slow down service processes but also increase the risk of errors and make it difficult to compile reports. This study aims to design and implement a web-based cashier information system at Merah Putih Souvenir Shop to support more efficient and accurate business processes. The method used is prototyping, which allows the system to be developed in stages with direct input from users at each stage. The system was developed using PHP Native as the programming language and MySQL as the database management system, and run on a local server using XAMPP. Testing was conducted using the black-box method, which aims to test each function of the system without looking at the internal structure of the code. The test results showed that the system was able to perform its main functions well, such as real-time transaction recording, inventory and stock management, and automatic and accurate sales and stock report generation. With the implementation of this system, transaction processes become faster, with minimal errors, and reports can be accessed more easily. This cashier information system is expected to serve as an efficient, practical, and affordable digital solution for SMEs, thereby enhancing their competitiveness in the digital era.

Abstract

This research aims to design a Sales Management Information System (SIM) specifically for Toko Jayapratama Abepura, a retail store selling basic necessities. The system is designed using the Waterfall method, which includes the stages of requirement analysis, system design, implementation planning, testing, and documentation. The analysis focuses on system planning using Data Flow Diagrams (DFD) Level 0 and Level 1. The design outlines the flow of data between entities such as admin and cashier, along with system processes including login, data management, transaction handling, and report generation. This system is expected to improve the efficiency of sales transactions and inventory management, while reducing errors in manual processing. Although the system has not been implemented, the design provides a comprehensive blueprint for future development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the quality of the Dumas Presisi public complaint website on the performance of police officers within the jurisdiction of Polres Keerom, using the End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) model. The research evaluates five core EUCS dimensions: content, accuracy, format, ease of use, and timeliness. A total of 92 community members and 26 police staff were selected as respondents through simple random sampling. Data were collected via questionnaires and analyzed using validity and reliability tests, as well as multiple linear regression. The results indicate that all EUCS dimensions significantly affect user satisfaction, with ease of use having the greatest impact (β = 0.362). Although content received the highest satisfaction score, timeliness was identified as the weakest aspect. Recommendations include enhancing the user interface, improving system speed and data accuracy, and providing regular training and system audits. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for improving digital public complaint services within the Indonesian National Police.
