The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and the level of anxiety of chronic kidney failure patients in hospitals in Gorontalo Province. The design of the analytical survey research with a cross-sectional study approach, the population of chronic kidney failure patients who underwent hemodialysis was 48 people at Prof. Dr. H. Aloei Saboe Hospital and Toto Kabila Hospital, the number of samples was 48 people using the total sampling technique and the statistical test used, namely chi-square. The results of the study were obtained from patients with good knowledge who experienced mild anxiety in as many as 12 people and moderate anxiety in as many as 3 people. Meanwhile, patients with sufficient knowledge experienced mild anxiety in as many as 4 people, moderate anxiety in as many as 8 people, and severe anxiety in as many as 3 people. In patients with less knowledge, 5 people experienced moderate anxiety and 13 people experienced severe anxiety. They were known as p-value=0.000<0.05. The conclusion is that there is a relationship between the level of knowledge and the level of anxiety in patients with chronic kidney failure in hospitals in Gorontalo Province.

Abstract

Indonesian Ministry of Health states that there has been a decrease in the stunting rate in Indonesia, however, based on WHO health standards, the stunting rate in Indonesia is still high. This fact shows that posyandu as the spearhead of handling stunting still needs to develop strategies in an effort to reduce stunting rates. This research analyzes the intervention strategies carried out by posyandu cadres in the Pamoyanan sub-district, in implementing health communication for handling stunted children. The findings of this research are that the family counseling health communication intervention pattern in the form of mutual cooperation in handling stunted children by the entire family of the stunted child has proven to be effective in restoring the health of the stunted child, where the whole family works together to implement a healthy eating pattern for the stunted child. This research also found that assigning treatment only to mothers proved to be less effective, in addition to the characteristics of highly educated mothers not always producing a parenting pattern that could prevent stunting in children. This research is qualitative research with a case study approach on five stunted children found in the Pamoyanan sub-district.

Abstract

Melena is the release of black feces or feces caused by bleeding from the upper digestive tract (Vania, 2019). Hematemesis melena is bleeding that occurs in the upper gastrointestinal tract (SCBA) and is an emergency situation that is often encountered in every hospital in the world, including Indonesia. (Vania, 2019). The incidence of SCBA bleeding in European countries reaches 100 people per 100,000 people/year, the incidence in men is much higher than in women. The incidence increases with age (Milani, 2022). In Indonesia (70-85%) hemetemesis is caused by rupture of esophageal varices which occurs in patients with liver cirrhosis so the prognosis depends on the underlying disease. This study employs a case study methodology. One patient in the inpatient room served as the study's sample. Abstract

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a psychological condition characterized by intrusive obsessions and uncontrollable compulsions. One example of a common compulsive behavior associated with OCD is the habit of washing hands repeatedly. This journal discusses the psychological factors underlying the habit and its impact on the lives of individuals affected by OCD. Through literature analysis, we present insights into this phenomenon regarding OCD from a psychological perspective. This research uses a literature study method with a descriptive-analytical approach, collecting data from various sources relevant to the research topic. The limitation of this study is the limited number of recent sources and journals that discuss similar topics, it is hoped that in the future there will be many sources and psychology journals that discuss the topic of OCD, especially in the context of repetitive hand washing habits.
