Abstract

Inclusive education has become a major focus of global education policy, but its implementation still faces complex challenges. The main challenges identified include a lack of understanding of the concept of inclusion, limited resources and infrastructure, lack of teacher skills in dealing with student diversity, policy and system barriers, and social stigma and discrimination. To address these challenges, various strategies have been developed and implemented in different countries. These strategies include increasing public awareness and understanding, developing supportive policies, improving teacher capacity through training, providing adequate resources, and collaboration between various stakeholders. Although challenges remain, many countries have shown significant progress in implementing inclusive education. Thus, a holistic and contextualised approach that considers each country's social, cultural and economic conditions is necessary to achieve effective and sustainable implementation of inclusive education.

Abstract

Project Based Learning (PBL) is a student-centred educational approach where learners acquire knowledge and skills through in-depth investigation of complex and authentic problems or challenges. In PBL, students are actively engaged in a long-term learning process, working collaboratively to design, develop and produce real products or solutions, while integrating multiple disciplines and developing 21st century skills. The research method in this study is literature. The results showed that PBL was consistently positively correlated with increased student intrinsic motivation and academic achievement in science. However, the review also identified challenges in implementing PBL, including the need for careful planning and adequate support. Thus, PBL offers a promising approach to improving the quality of science education, with significant potential to prepare students for the real-world demands of the modern era.

Abstract

This study is entitled “Strengthening Pancasila Character Through Integration of Human Values (Study of Mega Buana University Students)” and aims to examine how the humanitarian values in Pancasila are integrated into the lives of students and their impact on character formation. Pancasila, especially the second principle, emphasizes the importance of a just and civilized humanitarian attitude, but its implementation among students still faces challenges such as intolerance and individualism. Through a descriptive qualitative approach, this study collects data from in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies of Mega Buana University students. The results of the study indicate that students' understanding of the values of humanity in Pancasila is still diverse, and its application in everyday life is influenced by social, educational, and campus cultural environmental factors. The integration of human values in academic and extracurricular activities has been shown to have a positive impact in shaping the character of students who are more caring, fair, and socially responsible. This study concludes that the integration of human values in the curriculum and campus activities needs to be improved to form a generation of students based on the values of Pancasila, especially in facing today's social challenges.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the dynamics of Sundanese language usage in the Banjarharjo area, Brebes Regency, which is predominantly inhabited by the Javanese ethnic group. The focus of the study includes the history, origins of Sundanese language usage, differences between the Sundanese dialect of Banjarharjo and other regions, factors influencing Sundanese language usage, and its impact on the development of local culture. This research employs a qualitative approach with ethnographic methods. Data is collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving local communities as primary informants. The research findings indicate that the use of the Sundanese language in Banjarharjo is rooted in the influence of the Padjajaran Kingdom and social interactions with the directly adjacent West Java region. The Sundanese language of Banjarharjo possesses its own distinctive characteristics, both in dialect, vocabulary, and intonation, which are influenced by the cultural acculturation of Javanese and Sundanese. Nevertheless, a shift in language usage is occurring among the younger generation, where the dominance of the Indonesian language is beginning to replace Sundanese as the primary means of communication.

Abstract

Creative learning approaches have been the focus of a recent literature review in an effort to increase innovation in the classroom. This research highlights that the integration of creative methods such as technology, problem-based projects and collaborative activities can strengthen student engagement and improve the quality of learning. Students who engage in these approaches tend to be more motivated and can develop essential skills such as critical thinking and creativity. However, implementing these innovations faces obstacles such as resistance from educators and limited resources. Therefore, comprehensive support from various parties and a change in educational culture are needed to overcome these challenges. Thus, this research confirms that by addressing these constraints, creative learning approaches have great potential to enrich students' learning experiences and outcomes.

Abstract

This research examines the impact of multisectoral synergy in improving education quality through a comprehensive literature review. This approach involves collaboration between the government, private sector and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to pool and utilise diverse resources, expertise and technology to address educational challenges. The results of the study show that inter-sectoral synergies not only contribute to improving infrastructure and enhancing the quality of teaching staff, but also introduce more interactive and contextualised learning methods. These partnership programmes are able to create learning environments that are inclusive and adaptive to local needs, and enable equitable access to education to remote areas. In conclusion, sustained collaboration between sectors is essential to achieve a comprehensive improvement in the quality of education and provide a long-term positive impact on students' future readiness.
