Abstract

Almost all residences, places of business, and restaurants use LPG gas cylinders for daily cooking. We can see nowadays the many problems caused by these gas cylinders, one of which is a fire caused by a leak in the gas cylinder. Therefore we need an appropriate technology to overcome this problem, namely a tool to detect gas leaks using sensors and provide notifications to owners to reduce the impact of fires caused by gas leaks so that people can be safe. In this study, the microcontroller was ATMega 328 Arduino Uno, sim 900a, to provide danger notifications in the form of SMS and MQ-2 gas sensors (LPG, Natural Gas, Coal Gas) with an LPG gas leak detector with hazard notifications via SMS on the impact of a fire. Caused by a gas leak can be detected early so that a fire does not occur in the household.

Abstract

Management of bandwidth by using a proxy method of queue tree serves to implement more complex functions within the bandwidth limit on the proxy where the use of its mark packet has better functions. Used to limit one direction only connection either download or upload with proxy, administrators facilitated in setting bandwidth evenly, determine the bandwidth limiter, and a set of wireless users. Administrators can monitor and control the user-users are connected to the internet hotspot network by managing and sharing of bandwidth as needed to optimize existing bandwidth availability, and be able to monitor users (user). Mikrotik according to the author is a cheap solution, but can be optimized as a network device that has features that can help network administrators in performing their duties.

Abstract

Broiler chickens or also called broiler chickens are a type of chicken specifically designed for meat production in a relatively short time. They have fast growth and have high meat quality. Optimal temperature is very influential to achieve high productivity of broiler chickens. Broiler chicken coops require proper temperature regulation to create an optimal environment for the growth and health of the chickens. In this study, I propose the use of automatic light activation as a method for efficiently controlling broiler coop temperature. The method used involves installing a temperature sensor in the cage connected to a control system. When the temperature inside the cage exceeds or falls below a set limit, the control system will automatically turn on or off the light to maintain the desired temperature. The temperature settings tested in this study included the minimum and maximum temperatures set to achieve thermal comfort for broiler chickens. In addition, I also observed the effect of the duration of the light on the temperature in the cage.

Abstract

Vannamei shrimp cultivation (Litopenaeus Vannamei) is one of the rapidly growing industries in fisheries. Optimal water quality, including the appropriate water temperature, is a crucial factor in maintaining the growth and health of vannamei shrimp. Therefore, this research aims to design and implement a monitoring and water temperature control system using a microcontroller in vannamei shrimp cultivation. The research method involves the development of a system prototype consisting of water temperature sensors, microcontrollers, and temperature control modules. The water temperature sensor is used to measure the water temperature in the vannamei shrimp cultivation pond, while the microcontrollers are responsible for acquiring temperature data from the sensor and controlling the temperature control modules based on predetermined parameters. The research results show that the monitoring and water temperature control system using microcontrollers can accurately measure the water temperature with high precision. The obtained temperature data can be displayed in real-time through the microcontroller's screen or accessed via computer-based applications. Moreover, the system is also capable of adjusting the temperature according to the setpoint, utilizing LEDs lights (red, green, yellow) US indicators for activating and deactivating the heating and cooling device. in field trials, this system was implemented in vannamei shrimp cultivation ponds of a specific size.

Abstract

In fish farming, there is a lot of time in feeding irregularly or many farmers who have many fish aquariums but have difficulty in feeding because of the inefficiency of very little time and resulting in many fish causing stress and some fish that die. This research presents an innovation that changes the way to care for fish in an aquarium. Using Internet of Things (IoT) technology and Arduino Uno, this automatic fish feeding system was created with a focus on energy efficiency and fish welfare. With an internet connection, farmers can control and monitor the feeders through an app. The system also optimizes the use of electrical energy and monitors the environmental conditions of the aquarium in real time. This research offers a stunning innovation, combining technology and sustainability to better care for fish.
