Journal of Data Mining and Information Systems (JDMIS) is intended as a medium for scientific studies of research results, thoughts, and critical-analytic studies regarding research in the field of computer science and technology, including Information Technology, Informatics Management, Data Mining, and Information Systems. Abstract

Provider cards definitely have their advantages and disadvantages in the hearts of their users. In every advantage, there must be an effort by business people to maintain it as a product advantage. Then behind the deficiencies, there must also be an extra effort made by businesses to minimize it so that it doesn't become a reason for consumers to switch to other providers. In addition, there are also other efforts made by business providers in terms of competition, such as in the field of pricing and promotion. The right step in setting prices and also choosing a way of promotion will bring entrepreneurs the only choice in the hearts of consumers. Pricing according to quality as well as attractive promotions will usually be able to be the most important thing in business competition. This research will use a qualitative method with an associative method with a population of UINSU students and a sample of 100 students. The final results show which provider is able to win the hearts of consumers and become the most chosen by the provider card users that have been presented by researchers, namely Indosat providers.

Abstract

Apriori is an algorithm that is widely used to determine the pattern of relationships between products that are often bought together in a store. This Apriori algorithm will be suitable to be applied in the field of determining strategy or promotion. PT. XYZ is one of the Lighting Distributor Companies. One of the problems of the company is the imbalance of stock in the warehouse. So, the purpose of this research is to obtain product purchase predictions from suppliers to maintain stock balance with product solds to customers. The object of this research is the application of apriori algorithm. This research data is in the form of sales transaction data at PT. XYZ. Data analysis using RapidMiner Software by determining the valure of support and confidence. The analysis shows that there are 22 Association Rules with a minimum support 20% and a minimum confidence 50%. This information is excpected to help the company in developing a product purchasing strategy from the supplier.

Abstract

Advances in technology that continue to develop make things easier. One application of information technology in the field of education is the existence of a subject scheduling information system. However, until now, the scheduling system at MTsN 03 Madiun still uses the manual method by the curriculum staff. Previously, a joint task distribution meeting was held with the teachers, which then the curriculum staff would confirm the schedule with the instructor, then the admin would supervise one by one the schedules of the teachers who were still empty. Then the schedule needs to be confirmed back to the students. The result of these conditions has an impact on the lack of timely publication of subject schedules which reduces the effectiveness of the learning system. It is not uncommon for errors to occur in scheduling, such as the large number of teaching hours on an inappropriate schedule or subject schedules that clash with other subjects. The schedule that has been made must guarantee that there will be no conflicting schedules, both in hours and instructors. In addition, it takes a long time to make a schedule because the scheduling department needs to adjust the availability of space and teachers. Therefore we need a subject scheduling system that can simplify and minimize errors that occur when preparing schedules. In this study, the method used when collecting data was the observation method, interview method and literature study. In addition, the software development method used was the waterfall method. This system was designed and built using MySQL and PHP as database storage. This subject scheduling system can facilitate curriculum staff and teachers in managing subject schedule information.

Abstract

The phenomenon of addiction in playing online games is very serious and requires early prevention. Addiction to online games if it is late in handling it has a negative impact on everyday life. Based on these problems, an expert system is needed to diagnose the level of online game addiction based on the symptoms experienced. This study aims to determine the level of addiction by analyzing data using the Certainty Factor method, which is a method for managing uncertainty in a rule-based system. Meanwhile, the use of the Euclidean Distance method aims to determine the shortest distance between two data, in designing the system using XAMPP as a local server that provides the PHP programming language and phpMyAdmin to manage the MySQL database. The method used is the RAD (Rapid Application Development) method. Testing using black-box testing results shows that the function of the system can run well as a whole. This research produced output in the form of an Expert System for Diagnosing Online Game Addiction Symptoms with the Certainty Factor Method and Web-Based Euclidean Distance where this website is expected to make it easier for users or online game players to diagnose the level of addiction in playing online games.

Abstract

The increasing number of tourist locations in the city of Medan has led to growth in the arrival rate of tourists from abroad, and this has caused the hotel business to also increase rapidly. Even though the hotel business is increasing rapidly, not all tourists want to choose any hotel in the city of Medan, because tourists will still pay attention in terms of price, service, location, stars, and cleanliness, even though there are at least 177 hotels in the city of Medan. To overcome the problem of choosing the right hotel, a decision support system will be made to assist users in selecting hotels, and the system will be designed using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method, which will produce alternatives according to the criteria, values, and weights that have been determined. determined by the users. In collecting data for the system, methods such as surveys, field observations, interviews, and literature studies based on official documents will be used. This website-based decision support system generates output in the form of hotel rankings from highest to lowest level.

Abstract

Today, User Experience (UX), which is a very important component for interacting in an application, actually brings difficulties to its users. User Experience (UX) has the goal of making it easier for users to solve the problems they want to solve, as well as providing directions and illustrations for users so they don't experience difficulties and misunderstandings when using an application. PT. XYZ is a company engaged in providing community marketplace websites. From the problems faced by the market, the limitations of the platform often make users experience difficulties in communicating, as well as accessing and managing information about the desired activity. Therefore, a prototype design was carried out using a user-centered design approach and usability testing methods with the aim of digging up information about the needs of the users. The usability score and prototype design of the website obtained from the final research results will be used to design a website prototype that can assist users (hosts & guests) in collecting participant data, as well as accessing and managing information of interest until the end of the event. The final results of the research show that the process of designing a website prototype using a user-centered design approach produces a usability score of 93.06 or 95.2% through the usability testing method.
