Abstract

Financial literacy is an important aspect in individual financial management, especially for Generation Z who are starting to enter the world of work and computers on various financial products, including Islamic banking. However, their level of understanding of Islamic banking products is still relatively low. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the factors that influence the financial literacy of Generation Z in understanding and using Islamic banking products using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) approach. This study uses a qualitative method with in-depth interview techniques with informants who are members of Generation Z in Padang Gelugur District. The data obtained were analyzed using thematic analysis for understanding and the main factors that influence financial literacy. The results of the study show that attitudes, subjective norms, and behavioral control influence their understanding of Islamic banking. Financial experience and education play a role in forming positive attitudes, while social norms such as the influence of friends and the environment also play a role. However, the lack of access to information is a major obstacle. This study is expected to provide insight for Islamic banking in designing educational strategies to improve financial literacy among Generation Z.

Abstract

This study is entitled "Analysis of the Influence of Sharia Financial Literacy on Generation Z's Decision to Save at Bank Syariah Indonesia (Case Study of the Harau District Community, Lima Puluh Kota Regency)". Compiled by Dira Indriani NIM 3320322 Sharia Banking Study Program, State Islamic University (Uin) Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi. The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence sharia financial literacy has on the decision of generation z to save at Indonesian sharia banks. The type of research used in this study is quantitative descriptive research. The data used are primary and secondary data. The population in this study is generation z in Harau District with a sample of 100 respondents using data collection techniques with observation, questionnaires and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the variable of Islamic financial literacy has a significant effect on the decision of generation z to save at Indonesian Islamic banks, the independent variable (Islamic financial literacy) is able to contribute to influencing the dependent variable (the decision of generation z to save at Islamic banks) by 0.505 or 50.5% while the remaining 49.5% (100% - 50.5% = 49.5%) is influenced by other variables outside the regression model that analyzes the decision of generation z to save at Indonesian Islamic banks.

Abstract

Regional taxes in Tanimbar Islands Regency consist of hotel taxes, restaurant taxes, entertainment taxes, billboard taxes, street lighting taxes, parking taxes, non-metallic minerals and rocks, rural and urban land and building taxes, and land and building rights acquisition duties. This study aims to find out the amount of regional tax contribution to the original regional income of Tanimbar Islands Regency. This research is located in Tanimbar Islands Regency as a place or research object is a report on the realization of original income in the Tanimbar Islands Regency. Secondary data obtained is in the form of original revenue data for the Tanimbar Islands Regency in 2018-2022. The data was then analyzed using contribution analysis. . The results of the study show that the Regional Taxes that provide the highest average contribution during 2018 to 2022 are: Street Lighting Tax of 13.92%, Non-Metallic Mineral and Rock Tax of 12.53%, Restaurant Tax of 2.99%, Rural and Urban Land and Building Tax of 2.37%, Billboard Tax of 1.42%, Hotel Tax of 0.93%, Land and Building Rights Acquisition Duty of 0.62%, Entertainment Tax of 0.05%, Parking Tax of 0.001%.

Abstract

This study aims to find out what factors dominate Yamaha Motorcycle Sales at PT. Hasjrat Abadi. The research method used is a descriptive research method, which is a research method that describes systematically, factual and accurately about the facts and characteristics of a certain population or tries to describe the phenomenon in detail. In this study, the data collection techniques used are questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study show that the determining factor of Yamaha Motorcycle Sales at PT. Hasjrat Abadi is a promotional factor, then a price factor, a product factor, a place factor, a factor. Thus, of these five factors.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and describe the economic adaptation strategies used by the Nagari Bunuik Community in facing fluctuations in palm oil prices. The informants in this research were 20 people from the community who own oil palm land and are Muslim. The type of research used is qualitative, namely research where the data is in the form of words (not numbers) originating from interviews, report notes, documents and so on. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that there are several strategies implemented by the farming community in dealing with fluctuations in palm oil prices. The active strategies implemented by the community are selling goods online, being a carpenter, opening a small business (UMKM), doing odd jobs (home craftsmen), agricultural laborers, working as organ employees. And passive strategies such as using the house yard as a place to grow crops, using the house yard to raise livestock and fish, and taking debt from cooperatives to meet basic needs. There are several obstacles faced by the Nagari Bunuik Community in implementing the strategy, namely limited capital and unequal competition.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of land area, capital, fertiliser, seeds, and farmer experience on farmer welfare through corn production in Naena Muktipura Village (SP VI), both directly and indirectly. The method used by the researcher is the associative method. The data collection technique used by the researcher was to distribute questionnaires to 50 respondents. The analytical tool used in this study was Path Analysis with the help of IBM SPSS v22. The results showed that land area, fertiliser, and farmer experience had a significant effect on corn production in Naena Muktipura Village, while capital and seeds did not have a significant effect on corn production in Naena Muktipura Village. Land area and capital had a significant effect on the welfare of farmers in Naena Muktipura Village, while fertiliser, seeds, farmer experience and production had no significant effect on the welfare of farmers in Naena Muktipura Village. Land area and farmer experience have a significant effect on farmer welfare through corn production in Naena Muktipura Village, while capital, fertiliser, and seeds have no significant effect on farmer welfare through corn production in Naena Muktipura Village, Mimika Regency.

Abstract

Unemployment, investment, and the economy are three interrelated aspects that significantly influence a country's economic development, including Indonesia. A high unemployment rate negatively impacts people's purchasing power and economic growth, whereas investment plays a crucial role in job creation and boosting national productivity. Indonesia's economy continues to evolve amid various challenges, including global economic instability, policy changes, and labor market dynamics. Therefore, the government strives to address these issues through fiscal and monetary policies that support investment climate improvement and promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth. This article discusses the relationship between unemployment, investment, and the Indonesian economy, as well as the strategies that can be implemented to achieve economic stability and prosperity for society.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the analysis of the effect of inflation and income on consumption in North Sumatra Province. The analysis method used in this study is a quantitative-descriptive method, with testing of instrument validity, instrument reliability, significance testing such as the T Test, Determination Test, and hypothesis testing. The independent variables used in this study are inflation and income, and the dependent variable is community consumption. Overall, the independent variables (inflation and national income) have a positive effect on community consumption. Based on the equation, it can be seen that the most influential independent variable is the income variable with a coefficient of 0.501, followed by the inflation variable with a coefficient of 0.381. Every increase in the score of the inflation variable (X1) will encourage an increase in community consumption (Y) by 0.381. Meanwhile, every increase in the score of the income variable (X2) will encourage community consumption (Y) by 0.501.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of soft skills and work motivation on work readiness of STAIN Mandailing Natal Sharia Business Management Study Program Students. This research uses a quantitative approach and the population in this study are active students of the Sharia Business Management study program, STAIN Mandailing Natal, class of 2020, where the sample was 41 respondents with a sampling technique using Saturated Sampling with Likert scale measurements. The results of this research show that Soft Skill influence the work readiness STAIN Mandailing Natal Sharia Business Management Study Program Students with a tvalue of 2,911 > ttable 1,686 and a significance value of 0,006 < 0,05 and work motivation also influence the work readiness of STAIN Mandailing Natal Sharia Business Management Study Program Students with a tvalue of 4,691 > ttable 1,686 and a significance value of 0,000 < 0,05, and there is an influence of soft skills and work motivation on work readiness of STAIN Mandailing Natal Sharia Business Management Study Program Students with a Fvalue of 27,210 > Ftable 3,24 and a Significance value of 0,000< 0,05. The coefficient of determination (R2) is 0,589, which means soft skill and work motivation simultaneously influence work readiness by 58.9%.

Abstract

Tourism is one of the strategic sectors in regional economic development. Pantai Muaro Sasak, as a tourist destination, has significant natural potential but faces challenges in increasing visitor numbers. This study aims to analyze the promotional strategies and tourism services implemented at Pantai Muaro Sasak and evaluate their alignment with Islamic business ethics principles. This research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with tourism managers, direct observations, and document studies. The findings indicate that the promotional strategies implemented include digital marketing through social media, partnerships with travel agencies, and organizing tourism events. Meanwhile, tourism services focus on hospitality, cleanliness, and visitor safety. From the perspective of Islamic business ethics, the promotional strategies and tourism services at Pantai Muaro Sasak reflect the principles of honesty (ṣidq), justice (‘adālah), and public benefit (maṣlaḥah). However, some aspects require improvement, such as price transparency and the enhancement of Sharia-compliant facilities. This study provides recommendations for tourism managers to enhance the effectiveness of digital promotions, improve services in accordance with Islamic principles, and develop halal tourism facilities to attract more Muslim tourists.
