Abstract

Abstract. Correctional institutions should be able to carry out their functions optimally, namely making prisoners become better human beings after serving a period of detention, but in reality this hope has not been realized optimally. The aim of the research is to determine the forms of development of female convicts. This type of research is descriptive field research. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that there are 2 forms of coaching, namely first, independence coaching, second, spiritual or religious coaching. The material for religious formation is learning Tahsin al-Qur'an, Tahfiz, the areas of aqidah, worship and morals. Direct interaction coaching methods, persuasive coaching, planned coaching, individual and group approaches. Padang Class IIB Women's Penitentiary has held a Joint Commitment Signing and signing of cooperation with stakeholders related to the implementation of the main tasks and functions of Corrections, namely with the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of West Sumatra Province, the Office of the Ministry of Religion of Padang City, the Padang Education and Training Center and Bung Hatta University in Padang .

Abstract

Managerial ability is closely related to effective leadership management, because in fact management is essentially a matter of interaction between humans both vertically and horizontally, therefore leadership can be said to be a behavior that motivates others to work towards achieving goals and leadership management is very influential on its performance. The purpose of this study was to describe the teacher's performance at MTs Darunnajah 2 Cipining Bogor, to describe the managerial ability of the principal at MTs Darunnajah 2 Cipining Bogor, and to determine whether there was an influence of the principal's managerial ability on teacher performance at MTs Darunnajah 2 Cipining Bogor. The research method used is a quantitative approach. A sampling of 30 teachers. The data collection technique is using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is correlation coefficient and multiple regression. It is known that the results of statistical calculations using SPSS 22 show that there is an influence between the managerial ability of the principal (X) and the teacher's performance (Y) at MTs Darunnajah 2 Cipining Bogor. This is evidenced by the results of the calculation of the equation Y = 69.434 + 0.606 X the equation is known as> 0 which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The results of the coefficient of the determination indicate that the managerial ability of the principal has an influence of 34.5% on the performance of teachers at MTs Darunnajah 2 Cipining Bogor. Abstract

The Qur'an as a source of universal knowledge for Muslims contains in-depth discussions about every aspect of life, including problems related to human personality. The Qur'an often refers to aspects of human psychology with the term nafs (soul). This proves that the Al-Quran plays a positive role in shaping human personality, apart from being an antidote to mental illness (syifa). Humans were created by Allah SWT different from other creatures, such as angels, jinn, animals and plants. This difference is what gives humans the opportunity to become perfect humans or the worst humans. This year is the time for Muslim scholars to rely on the revelation of the Qur'an to see humans as multidimensional, both physical and mental (spiritual) and not to be haunted by non-Islamic theories that tend to solve problems. The spiritual element in humans has a strong connection with God. It is not enough for humans with their different dimensions to only be considered empirical, but must consider all their dimensions, both physical and mental.

Abstract

Verbal-linguistic intelligence is a skill possessed by a person in a language. In learning a foreign language, verbal linguistic skills can support and facilitate the process of mastering the language. Many studies have discussed the role of verbal linguistic intelligence in mastering foreign languages. Some of them are included in the literature review in this article. The results of the review conclude that people who have verbal linguistic intelligence have the potential to be able to use their intelligence to develop language skills. With the ability to remember names and places, a person with intelligence in verbal linguistics can master language quite effectively. In mastering a foreign language, a person who learns a foreign language can use his ability to convey ideas and concepts, so that the combination of the ability to remember words and the ability to convey ideas helps the person master the foreign language effectively.

Abstract

This study is to analyze the effect of management change, company size, and audit opinion on auditor switching. The independent variables of management change, audit opinion and the dependent variable of auditor switching are calculated using dummy variable measurements, while the independent variable firm size is measured by measuring the logarithm of total assets. This research was conducted using a purposive sampling technique using a sample of transportation sub-sector companies listed on the IDX from 2018 to 2021 and obtained 15 companies that met the research criteria with a total of 60 annual report data as observation material. The data analysis method that researchers use is logistic regression analysis. The results of this study state that partially management change, company size and audit opinion do not have a significant positive effect on auditor switching. This research can be a consideration for investors and shareholders to pay more attention to their financial reports, especially to the results of audits issued by companies with the aim that new investors or prospective investors are not wrong in choosing investment decisions. For companies to be more thorough in making or selecting decisions in conducting auditor switching. And for auditors with this research it is hoped that they will not establish cooperative relationships that are too long with clients that can interfere with the auditor's independence.

Abstract

Coilgun merupakan senjata elektromagnetik yang berfungsi berdasarkan gaya elektromagnetik untuk menggerakkan proyektil. Coilgun single stage mempergunakan 1 coil induksi untuk menghasilkan medan electromagnet. Dalam pembuatannya coilgun terdiri dari inverter, rectifier, transfomator dan coil induktansi. Pada penelitian sebelumnya banyak teknik yang dipergunakan untuk meningkatkan kecepatan proyektil coilgun. Diantara menambahkan jumlah coil, mengkombinasikan jumlah lilitan pada masing-masing coil, mencoba beberapa jenis material lilitan dan mengkombinasikan beberapa bahan proyektil untuk meningkatkan kecepatan proyektil. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti mempergunakan 3 jenis lilitan (0,262 mH, 0,385 mH dan 0,945 mH) serta 2 jenis proyektil yang beratnya masing-masing 4,26 g dan 1,08 g. Hasil pengukuran kecepatan tertinggi (4,48 m/s) didapat dengan menggunakan proyektil 4,26 g dan lilitan 0,945 mH. Untuk energi kinetik yang didapat sebesar 4,168 J dengan efisiensi sebesar 0,758%.

Abstract

Abstrak. Dewasa ini banyak terjadi krisis moral pada generasi bangsa hal ini tercermin dari semakin maraknya terjadi kejahatan serta kasus-kasus yang melibatkan remaja maupun dewasa yang merupakan generasi bangsa. Pengadaan pesantren kilat terutama pada anak-anak usia SMA ini sangat diperlukan karena diharapkan dengan diadakannya program ini dapat menjadi salah satu jalan dalam membina kharakter religius para generasi penerus bangsa. Tujuan penelitian ini 1) Untuk mengetahui peran pesantren kilat dalam membina kharakter religius siswa SMK Negeri 5 Kepahiang, 2) Untuk mengetahui apa saja faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam membina kharakter religius SMK negeri 5 kepahiang dengan diadakannya pesantren kilat. Menggunakan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif agar data yang didapatkan lebih mendalam dan bermakna. Didapatkan hasil penelitian bahwa peran pesantren kilat dalam membina kharakter religius siswa di SMKN 5 Kepahiang yaitu: menanamkan nilai ibadah kepada siswa, mengenalkan cara berjihad kepada siswa, menanamkan nilai amanah dan ikhlas, akhlak dan kedisiplinan, keteladanan. Kata kunci: kharakter, pesantren, religius.

Abstract

Abstract. The aim of this assistance is to form the Akhlakul Karimah of students at the Miftahul Istiqomah Islamic boarding school through learning the yellow book about taisirul khalaq. Akhlakul Karimah assistance through studying the yellow book Taisirul Khalaq is an assistance carried out to provide an understanding of morals to students. This is done because the degradation of manners and morals experienced by the young generation of Muslims is currently increasingly worrying. Islamic boarding schools play a very important role in developing morals for students. Even though Islamic boarding schools have done their best in developing the morals of their students, there are still many students whose morals are not good, which is why this assistance is provided. Mentoring is carried out using the halaqah method, a method often used in Islamic boarding schools, namely students will learn by sitting around the teacher and listening together to what the teacher is saying. The results of this mentoring help students who are not yet very familiar with the parts of morals to become aware of morals and be able to practice them in their daily lives. From this assistance, they are also more enthusiastic about living their lives because they are taught to always be grateful and accept their fate or circumstances. Even though there are several obstacles in this assistance, such as limited time, the students remain enthusiastic so they can maximize their time efficiently.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out whether the effect of small group discussion teaching method to the reading comprehension of grade eight students of SMP Negeri 4 Pematang Siantar. This research uses quantitative research with a quasi-experimental research methodology. Creswell (2012:27),explains that "quasi-experimental includes giving tasks, but not assigning participants to groups". This research used quantitative research quasi-experimental method. The data from this study where collected and obtained through tests. The sample this research the VIII -6 as the experimental class and the VIII-9 as the control class .the test was carried out with pre-test and post-test to students using small group discussion teaching method.The research data and result findings of calculation, the research found the mean score in experimental class from pre-test to post-test are 70.40 and 82.40. than score in control class from pre-test and post-test are 70.53 and 76.73. the statistical hypothesis testing findings sample t-test are indicated ,at a level of significance of 5% (=0,05), that the t -test was 3,04 whereas t-table was 1.671 , or t-test> t-table .it can be concluded that the value of t-test was higher than the value of t-table .therefore, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and the Null Hypothesis (Ho) was rejected .so, its mean that there is a significant effect of use small group discussion teaching method to the reading comprehension of grade eight students of SMP Negeri 4 Pematang Siantar

Abstract

The goal of this research is to ascertain the effect of using animated video on the listening comprehension of Grade IX students at UPTD SMP Negeri 5 Pematangsiantar in the 2022/2023. Quantitative research approach is used in this research design. This type of research is a Quasi Experiment with a two-group static design. The dependent variable is the students' listening comprehension narrative text in monologue form as a learning material and the independent variable is the use of Animated video. The research subjects were grade IX at UPTD SMP Negeri 5 Pematangsiantar in the 2022/2023 academic year. The object of this research is the effect of animated video on the listening comprehension. The instruments used in this research were tests, pre-test and post-test. After the data has been collected, data analysis is carried out by comparing the results of the mean. The results showed that the mean of experimental group in pre-test is 60.3 and in post-test is 84.5 while the mean of control group in pre-test 53.2 and in post-test is 73.5. It showed that the score of the experimental group was higher than control group. The result of the t-test formula analysis showed that the value of t-test was higher than that of t-table, The t-test score (2.7)> t-table demonstrated this (1.671). As a consequence, the Null Hypothesis (HO) was disproved and the Alternate Hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. It is concluded that using animated video as media learning significantly affects listening comprehension of grade IX students at UPTD SMP Negeri 5 Pematangsiantar as a media learning than using recording audio.
