JSIKOM (Jurnal Studi Ilmu Komunikasi)
Jurnal Studi Ilmu Komunikasi (JSIKOM) adalah jurnal open access yang diterbitkan oleh Prodi Ilmu Komunikasi FISIP Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Fatah Palembang terbit 3 kali dalam setahun pada bulan Januari, Mei dan September. Tujuan utama jurnal ini adalah untuk mempublikasikan dan menyebarluaskan di lapangan pemahaman terkini tentang berbagai wacana sosial dan politik kontemporer dengan makalah penelitian asli, terutama yang berkaitan dengan masalah: Komunikasi sosial Komunikasi organisasional Komunikasi bisnis Komunikasi interpersonal Pemikiran dan etika Komunikasi Komunikasi dan identitas gender Pembangunan Kesejahteraan Masyarakat dan Sosial Masyarakat digital dan disrupsi Politik komunikasi dan media Komunikasi dan budaya Cyber society Jadi, sebelum mengirimkan naskah, penulis harus memastikan bahwa naskah telah mengikuti pedoman umum, ruang lingkup dan fokus JSIKOM dengan ditulis dalam bahasa Indonesia. Frekuensi Publikasi Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi terbit tiga kali dalam setahun pada bulan Januari, Mei, September dalam versi elektronik. Kebijakan Akses Terbuka Jurnal ini menyediakan akses terbuka langsung ke kontennya dengan prinsip bahwa membuat penelitian tersedia secara bebas untuk publik mendukung pertukaran pengetahuan global yang lebih besar. In the current era, social media is very tied to people's daily lives, this makes social media have great potential for various fields, especially in the field of education. Social media such as Tik Tok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook have become a place for learning in addition to being a medium of interaction. In fact, Tik Tok is one of the apps with the most users. In this study, the author aims to explain the results of observations from the development of public speaking skills of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta journalism students on the Tik Tok application. This research uses a qualitative approach with a questionnaire method. As a result, new journalism students of UIN Jakarta were helped by the Tik Tok application for their ability to speak in public. Although, the confidence to speak and appear in front of the camera is still low.

This research is entitled “Persuasive Communication for Persons with Disabilities, Children and the Elderly” (Study in the Field of Service Innovation for the Population and Civil Registration Office of Muara Enim Regency). The purpose of this research is to find out how persuasive communication is in the field of service innovation in line with the Record Program to Visit Children with Disabilities in Children and the Elderly. The research method used is the qualitative method. The data collection techniques are interviews, journals, books, and documentation. The theory used is the AIDDA theory. This theory explains that a persuasive activity (persuasion) begins with attention and ends with action. The result of this research is persuasive communication carried out in the field of service innovation in the rendang pedas program using 5 stages of aidda theory, namely: attention by introducing this program through social media, then interest is carried out by informing that this program is carried out by pick-up. The digital economy is a challenge for the government to make changes to business models in the business sector. Paradigm changes and perspectives in the field of marketing in the era of globalization are obligatory for business people. The omnichannel method can grow a loyal customer base. This study aims to observe the behavior of online offline marketing communications through omnichannel in building Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The research method used is qualitative with descriptive type. The approach used uses interviews, observation and in-depth study (in-depth approach). The sampling technique used is a purposive sample. The results of the study show: 1) Communication behavior that focuses on customer experience behavior, in the form of friendliness and real time response; 2) Behavior in using data as a preparation of marketing plans; 3) Behavior according to prospect segmentation and business flow personalization; 4) Behavior of communication with the application of relevant context marketing / context; 5) Social media approach through the right automation tools; and 6) Customer-centric communication behavior, placing potential customers as friends to establish synergistic communication with the aim of increasing customer loyalty.

This research is entitled "Journalist Profession and Gender Equality (Analysis of the Existence of Women Journalists in the Sumsel Tribune Daily)". The aims of this research were 1) to find out the performance of female journalists in carrying out journalistic functions and 2) to find out the implementation of gender equality management and policies in the Daily South Sumatra Tribune. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the study 1) The performance of female journalists in carrying out journalistic functions can be seen through the first few indicators, quality shows very good and maximum results. Second, quantity: prioritizing achieving maximum targets by covering 3 news stories in 1 day plus 18 news stories a week. Third, timeliness: perseverance, the alertness of journalists to be able to complete assignments on time. Fourth, effectiveness: the use of technology is very helpful and facilitates journalists in reporting news and informing news to the office. Fifth, Independence: the level of independence of employees while carrying out their duties is very good. Sixth, commitment: there is a high work commitment so as to realize excellent work quality. 2) Implementation of gender equality management and policies in the Sumsel Tribune Daily, namely by arranging planning including adequate access to technology, participation between journalists, evaluating, work control systems have given the right to evaluate work quality in a balanced way, work scheduling and work safety security, so gender equality is not closing the possibility for anyone to have the right to enjoy the results of work for the achievements that have been achieved. If the journalist's performance is good then the career path will also increase.

ABSTRAK Perkembangan industri digital di abad 21 hari ini, telah memberikan perubahan yang signifikan di berbagai lini kehidupan manusia. Berbagai macam kebutuhan manusia sudah mulai diakomodasi oleh produk-produk media digital. Termasuk dakwah yang berbasis pada media digital juga akhirnya hadir di tengah masyarakat Indonesia. Salah satu kombinasi yang menarik dibahas adalah bagaimana bentuk kombinasi dari media digital sebagai produk komunikasi massa dan pengolahan konten dakwah di dalam televisi komunitas akademik. Dengan konteks pengembangan media dakwah digital inilah kemudian skripsi ini mengambil tema penelitian di televisi komunitas RAFA TV. Secara deskriptif analitis akan diperlihatkan tentang bagaimana peranan RAFA TV sebagai bagian dari televisi komunitas dalam menyampaikan pesan-pesan dakwah melalui program acara KURMA (Kuliah Ramadhan). Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif, pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan pengumpulan dokumen yang berkaitan dengan penelitian. Model Miles dan Huberman digunakan sebagai teknik analisis data yang siklusnya dimulai dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi dan inferensi. menampilkan hasil penelitian bahwa, program acara KURMA adalah salah satu program acara spesial di bulan Ramadhan yang menyajikan konten-konten dakwah Islam dalam bentuk talkshow. Program acara KURMA telah dijalankan sejak 2019 dan akan terus dilanjutkan untuk memberikan alternatif informasi Islami di tengah masyarakat. Peran dakwah dari RAFA TV melalui Program acara KURMA perlu dilihat dari dua aspek. Pertama, aspek materi dan metode dakwah di program acara KURMA. Kedua, dari aspek model media komunikasi massa berbasis digital. Adapun dari aspek yang pertama, Program KURMA menampilkan tiga materi Dakwah Islamiyah yang berkaitan dengan aqidah, hukum dan akhlak. Ketiga materi dakwah tersebut dikemas oleh tim produksi KURMA dengan metode dakwah Al-Mujadalah Bi-Lati Hiya Ahsan, yakni sebuah metode dakwah dengan cara diskusi secara rasional. Selanjutnya pada aspek yang kedua, program KURMA memiliki potensi massa yang cukup banyak dan perlu dikembangkan secara lebih optimal lagi. Kata Kunci: Komunitas, dakwah Islamiah, Komunikasi massa

Budaya asing sangat memudahkan untuk beradaptasi dengan Indonesia, terutama masyarakat generasi muda. Bukan hanya generasi muda akan tetapi “tidak semua insan seni mampu setia dengan rasa awal yang telah ditanamkan di era yang sudah global seperti saat ini.” Dapat dilihat bahwa Sanggar Musi tersebut cukup sulit untuk mempertahankan eksistensinya di tengah era globalisasi dan strategi apa yang digunakan Sanggar Musi dalam mempertahankan nilai budaya selama 16 tahun sampai saat ini. Pembahasan ini bagaimana strategi pemasaran pada sanggar musi untuk mempetahankan nilai budaya tari tradisional dan kendala yang terjadi pada saat melakukan strategi pemasaran tersebut. Penelitian yang penulis gunakan adalah penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan metode kualitatif dan pengumpulan data melalui: observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan konsep strategi pemasaran. hasil strategi pemasaran yang dilakukan oleh Sanggar Musi dalam mempertahankan nilai budaya tari tradisional yaitu tetap mengedepankan lokal jenius dari Provinsi Sumatera Selatan melalui kostum, gerakan tarian, musik, serta aksesoris yang digunakan para penari. Dan mempromosikan sanggarnya melalui sosial media dan promosi dari mulut ke mulut, telah mencapai tujuan dari sanggar musi. Kendala yang di hadapi sanggar musi pada saat menjalankan strategi pemasaran yaitu pada saat promosi melalui sosial media yang tidak terlalu aktif. Namun, kendala ini tidak terlalu signifikan dan ada sarana lain yang dapat membantu promosi melalui mulut ke mulut.

People now have a lot of access to communicate, one of which is to use social media. Social media is often used as a place to express emotions such as anger, insults, insults to cyber bullying. one of which happened to the phenomenon of the @ekidarehanf tiktok content which caused criticism from the public for this content. The aims of this study is to find out how Gen Z perceives ethics in uploading the tiktok account @ekidarehanf. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with in-depth interview techniques as a data source. The results of this study are that as a public figure it is better to reflect good behavior because on social media self-identity can be assessed from the behavior reflected on the social media.

As microblog, Twitter is a social media used by a lot of people to share anything. Twitter’s system makes it easier for people to be anonymous. In Twitter, there are some kinds of bot accounts that operate daily. One of them is menfess (mention confess) account. Through a menfess account, users can send anonymous messages that can reach a lot of other users. Menfess accounts also have their rules, so the sender has to follow it in order to send their messages. However, the sender could still get a hurtful response even when they already followed the rules. Anonymity does not seem to make the sender feel safe because they keep being cautious before sending a message. This cautiousness becomes a kind of boundary. There are several types of boundaries that arise in the anonymous interaction of menfess accounts. Boundaries arise based on the rules written from the menfess account and from the mind of the senders themselves.

One of the impacts of globalization is the growing development of information and communication technology, one of which is marked by the existence of social media as a new digital world space that becomes the flow of information media as well as communication with a very wide reach/coverage. The ease of obtaining various kinds of information, expressing oneself, channeling talents and developing self-creativity is a plus that is presented by social media, one of which is TikTok. TikTok as a social media platform has quite a lot of impact on people's social life, especially teenagers, enabling its users to empower their creative minds by creating unique and interesting videos as a form of self-actualization, self-existence, and the formation of self-identity. The purpose of this study is to find out the construction of the TikTok symbol as self-identity and the meaning that is built about TikTok for adolescents at Kayu Agung OKI using symbolic interaction theory that is based on 3 concepts of thought. As for this study using qualitative research methods with data collection techniques namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that based on the concept of thinking as a basis in symbolic interaction theory, namely mind, self, and society.

This research attempts to describe the implied meaning of satire in the artistic poetry of the Musi Banyuasin Community, South Sumatra. This senjang art poetry uses local regional language in the form of rhymes, sung by one or two poets. The satire used varies from persuasion, criticism, or satire, making it interesting to study further. This research uses qualitative methods with Roland Barthes' communication semiotic analysis. Semiotics will recognize signs and meanings in poetry, with a theoretical review of satire and communication semiotics. The formulation of the problem in this research is what is the meaning of satire in contemporary art from a communication semiotics perspective? This research aims to find out and describe the meaning of satire contained in the senjang poems. The meaning of satire according to Roland Barthes' communication semiotics includes denotation (true meaning) and connotation (double meaning), which are termed signifiers and signifieds. So the conclusion from this research is that sengjang art is also sung in the form of satire full of meaning, and the implied meaning is more political.
