The purpose of this research is to test and explain the influence of celebrity endorsement, brand image, and service quality on product purchasing decisions at the Gurlbucket Store. The sample in this study was 126 respondents. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires directly delivered to the location and given directly to respondents. The collected data was analyzed using the classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, determination test (Adjusted R2) and model feasibility test (F-test). The results of this research show that celebrity endorsement has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions, brand image has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions and service quality has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions at the Gurlbucket Store. The implications of this research can be material for consideration and input for the Gurlbucket Store in maintaining purchasing decisions by considering the variables celebrity endorsement, brand image and service quality.

The sample in this study consists of 96 respondents, selected based on purposive sampling technique. Data collection was conducted using questionnaires. The analysis method used is structural equation modeling based on partial least squares (SEM-PLS). The results show that E-WOM has a positive and significant influence on repurchase intention, E-WOM has a positive and significant influence on customer satisfaction, customer satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on repurchase intention, and customer satisfaction is able to partially mediate the influence of E-WOM on repurchase intention. The implication of this research is that Lusi & Pakan Bali can consider E-WOM and customer satisfaction in formulating policies to pay attention to or enhance electronic word of mouth, thereby increasing customer satisfaction which can drive the creation of repurchase intention.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of declining interest in the certified public accounting profession in Indonesia, even though this profession offers many career opportunities. This study aims to examine the influence of social cognitive career theory on the goal of becoming a certified public accountant, with a focus on self-efficacy variables and outcome expectations. The research method used purposive sampling to select a sample of public accounting firm employees, with a total of 100 respondents. However, there were 10 incomplete questionnaires so that 90 respondents were used. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The research results show that self-efficacy and outcome expectations have a significant positive influence on the goal of becoming a certified public accountant. The conclusions of this study confirm that the higher a person's self-efficacy and outcome expectations, the more likely they are to pursue CPA certification. The implication of the results of this research is the importance of strengthening self-efficacy and outcome expectations in individuals through various education and training strategies, in order to increase interest and commitment to the certified public accounting profession in Indonesia. The practical implications of this research provide material for consideration to help educational institutions and accounting training institutions in developing more effective programs to prepare participants to achieve the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) title, with a focus on increasing self-efficacy and outcome expectations.

Abstract

Midas cichlid fish (Amphilophus citrinellus) is often referred to as a pest fish because it is a fish that can only prey but does not produce sufficient economic value, because it reproduces very quickly. This research aims to determine the length-weight relationship, growth patterns and condition of Midas cichlid fish as well as the water conditions of Lake Batur. The research was carried out using quantitative descriptive methods, with a purposive sampling method for sampling. The sampling locations were at three stations. The fishing gear used is gill nets. The total number of fish caught during data collection was 287 individuals. Based on the results of the analysis of the length-weight relationship of midas cichlid fish (Amphilophus citrinellus) in Lake Batur, the equation W=0.0215L2.92 was obtained, where from this equation the value b = 2.92 was obtained. The t test was carried out and it was found that the b value was <3 so it could be concluded that the growth pattern was negative allometric. The relative condition (Kn) of male and female Midas cichlid fish in Lake Batur is in good condition (1.01), with a less flattened body shape (fusiform). The condition of the water parameters in Lake Batur during the research was classified as good and stable for the survival of aquatic biota, one of which was the Midas cichlid fish with a pH value of 7.1-7.5; DO 5.3-6.5 mg/L; Temperature 27.8-29.6°C and brightness 1.5-1.9 m.

Abstract

Children’s development is a crucial factor in achieving the vision of Indonesia Emas 2045, particularly in fostering globally competitive human resources. One of the main challenges in realizing this vision is the high prevalence of wasting and stunting among children in Indonesia. As of 2023, the stunting prevalence in Indonesia recorded at 21.5%, indicating persistent issues with chronic malnutrition. Additionally, the wasting rate among children increased from 7.7% in 2022 to 8.5% in 2023. This research answers the question of how mother’s education can improving children's development. The research method uses quantitative analysis involving secondary data obtained from 2014 IFLS data. For the first equation, the dependent variable is stunting, measured by the height of children aged 0-5 years. For the second equation, the dependent variable is the weight of children aged 0-5 years. To ensure that the effects observed in the study are due to the independent variables of interest and not influenced by other external factors, we use some control variables, such as direct cash assistance, household income, waste management, number of household members, distance from home to healthcare facilities, area of residence (rural/urban), and ethnicity (Javanese/non-Javanese). The results of the analysis show that the mother’s education have significant and positive impact on height and weight of the children. Apart from that, the control variables of direct cash assistance, household waste management, and place of residence also have a positive effect on children's height as well as children weight. And house hold size have significant and negative relationship to height and weight of the children. This analysis shows the importance of mother’s education. Increasing mother's educational attainment can help increase family access, especially their children, to healthy nutrition, health services, hygiene and education, all of which can contribute to reducing stunting in children. There for, policy steps that support women's empowerment, such as increasing access to education and the economy for women as a mother for now and future need to be prioritized to reduce wasting and stunting of children in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstract Social and economic inequality is a global issue that has a significant impact on many aspects of life, including health, education and economic stability. This research aims to review the literature on policies and interventions implemented around the world to address this inequality. The literature review shows that inequality is often caused by unfair economic policies, unequal income distribution, and limited access to fundamental services such as education and health. In addition, neoliberal policies and the effects of globalisation have exacerbated economic inequality between developed and developing countries. Various strategies have been implemented to reduce inequality, such as income redistribution through progressive taxation, social assistance programmes, and improved access to education and health services. The findings of this study emphasise the importance of a multidimensional approach and cross-sectoral cooperation in designing and implementing effective policies to reduce social and economic inequality globally.

Abstract

Green economy is a development concept that integrates economic and environmental aspects to achieve sustainable development. Although it offers important solutions, the implementation of green economy faces various challenges, both in terms of systemic, institutional, and community participation. This paper aims to review the literature related to the challenges and opportunities of implementing a green economy in the context of environmental sustainability. The results show that the main challenges in implementing a green economy include structural constraints in the economic system, institutional weaknesses, and lack of public participation and awareness. On the other hand, the green economy also offers various opportunities, such as the potential for new job creation, encouragement of technological innovation, broader economic benefits, and opportunities for international collaboration. Optimally utilising these opportunities can be an effective solution to address the challenges of sustainable development. The successful implementation of a green economy will be largely determined by the ability of stakeholders to overcome existing challenges and strategically capitalise on available opportunities. Strong integration of economic, social and environmental aspects is key to realising truly sustainable development.
