Based on a preliminary study, the COVID-19 PPE at Rawang Primary Health Care (PHC) was only partially available. The purpose of this research was to analyze the management of COVID-19 personal protective equipment (PPE) for Rawang PHC officers in Padang City. This research was a qualitative study held in July-September 2021 at the Rawang PHC. Research informants were four officers of PHC, who were obtained through purposive sampling. Collecting data was done through in-depth interviews, document reviews, and observation—data analysis using content analysis with source and method triangulation. The results of this study show that planning for needs was carried out using the consumption method; requests for COVID-19 PPE were made to the Padang District Health Office, which can be done at any time. Receipt of PPE COVID-19 by recording and checking the amount of PPE on the stock card. PPE storage using the FIFO method. The destruction of PPE was only done at the beginning of the pandemic. The distribution of PPE was carried out in sub-units and PHC networks. Control carried out related to the supply and use of PPE. The recording and reporting of PPE have been carried out, but the evaluation has yet to be carried out because the PHC still needs to have a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for managing COVID-19 PPE. The management of COVID-19 PPE at the Rawang PHC could be more optimal. It is recommended for Rawang PHC to make a SOP for the management of COVID-19 PPE.

HIV/AIDS stigma is a major issue for people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) around the world. It is the most significant obstacle to HIV prevention, treatment, care, and support. This study aims to determine the determinants of stigma toward PLHA at the Kuranji Health Center, Padang, Indonesia. A cross-sectional study was conducted from November 2022 to February 2023. The respondents of the study were people who were domiciled in the working area of the Kuranji Health Center, aged 15–60 years, and were willing to sign an informed consent. We used purposive sampling techniques and questionnaires to collect data. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and the chi-square test. Overall, the prevalence of negative stigma was found to be 85.6%. Bivariate analysis showed a significant correlation between knowledge (p = 0.020), perception (p = 0.000), attitude (p = 0.000), and stigma among PLHA. Our findings suggested that providing culturally congruent education and training about HIV and care and promoting policies protecting PLWHA may massively reduce HIV-related stigma toward PLWHA. Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2D) in the elderly is an increasing health problem. Elderly patients with type 2 diabetes have a higher risk of diabetes complications and require appropriate treatment. This disease causes 4 million deaths annually, accounting for 9 percent of all deaths worldwide. The purpose of the study was to assess the correlation of self-compassion and stress on T2D patients at the Lubuk Buaya Health Center. This study used a cross- sectional study design. 85 elderly people with T2D referring to the Lubuk Buaya Health Center were enrolled through a simple randomized sampling method from November to February 2022. In order to collect data, the Depression Anxiety Stress Scales (DASS) and the self-compassion scale (SCS) were used. In addition, to analyze the data, pearson product moment test methods were done using SPSS V.22 software. The results show that there is a significant correlation between self-compassion and stress in patients T2D. Self-compassion is one of the most effective methods for reducing stress in diabetic patients. Consequently, therapists, counselors, and psychologists are encouraged to employ self-compassion training to reduce stress in T2D patients. This article examines prominent concerns regarding adolescent smoking in Indonesia and investigates diverse strategies targeted at mitigating this public health issue. Indonesia is confronted with an escalating epidemic of tobacco consumption among young people, which is worsened by inadequate legislation and assertive marketing strategies employed by tobacco corporations. This article addresses the difficulties associated with the cultural acceptability of smoking, the restricted availability of quitting resources, and the lack of comprehensive anti-smoking programs. The paper emphasizes the significance of enhancing more stringent tobacco control legislation and implementing cross-sector collaboration activities specifically designed for the Indonesian context to address the problem of individuals who start smoking for the first time. This article emphasizes the importance of protecting the health and future of Indonesia's youth population by tackling these challenges and applying different prevention techniques.
