Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh terpaan media sosial TikTok dan kredibilitas akun @raniaayamin terhadap minat pemakaian tren fashion batik pada para pengikutnya. Latar belakang penelitian didasari oleh meningkatnya peran media sosial sebagai sarana komunikasi massa digital yang berpengaruh terhadap pembentukan persepsi, preferensi, serta perilaku konsumtif masyarakat modern. Dalam konteks ini, TikTok menjadi platform yang efektif untuk menyebarluaskan nilai budaya lokal, termasuk pelestarian batik melalui konten kreatif yang dikemas dengan gaya modern dan relevan bagi generasi muda. Akun TikTok @raniaayamin dipilih karena konsistensinya menampilkan konten bertema kebudayaan yang berpadu dengan unsur estetika fashion kontemporer yang inspiratif dan edukatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terpaan media sosial TikTok berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat pemakaian tren fashion batik pada followers. Selain itu, kredibilitas akun @raniaayamin, yang meliputi dimensi keahlian, kepercayaan, dan daya tarik, juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat tersebut. Secara simultan, kedua variabel memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam meningkatkan ketertarikan generasi muda terhadap penggunaan batik sebagai bagian dari gaya hidup modern sekaligus bentuk pelestarian budaya nasional yang berkelanjutan. Kesimpulan penelitian menegaskan bahwa terpaan media sosial dan kredibilitas influencer berperan penting dalam menumbuhkan minat serta kesadaran budaya masyarakat terhadap batik di era digital. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan paradigma positivistik. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh pengikut akun TikTok @raniaayamin, sedangkan sampel penelitian sebanyak 400 responden diperoleh melalui teknik purposive sampling dengan perhitungan rumus Slovin. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan kuesioner, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen, uji asumsi klasik, serta analisis regresi linear berganda untuk mengetahui pengaruh parsial dan simultan antarvariabel yang diteliti.

Abstract

This study examines the forms of intercultural communication harmony practiced by Bugis migrants in building social networks within the oil palm plantation areas of Baras District, Pasangkayu Regency. The research is significant because Bugis migrants, known for their long-standing migratory tradition (sompe’) and cultural values of siri’ na pacce, contribute to multicultural integration in plantation-based communities. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and focus group discussions, and analyzed with the Miles and Huberman model comprising data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that intercultural harmony is expressed through openness in social interactions, solidarity in community life, tolerance among religious groups, interethnic marriages, inclusive economic cooperation in plantation work, and the preservation of cultural identity alongside adaptation. These practices strengthen social networks across ethnic boundaries and minimize potential conflicts in a multicultural environment. The study underscores the importance of intercultural communication as a foundation for social cohesion in plural societies. It also provides practical insights for policymakers and community leaders in managing diversity within plantation contexts. The originality of this research lies in its focus on the intercultural communication harmony of Bugis migrants in plantation-based communities, a perspective that has received limited scholarly attention.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has transformed how individual communicate and construct their identities, including through self-branding strategies to increase visibility and enhance credibility in public spaces. In Indonesia’s skincare industry, the shift toward dermatology-based products has also introduced new challenges, particularly the rise of exaggerated claims and misinformation on social media. In this context, the presence of healthcare professionals who provide education content has become increasingly important. This study aims to analyse the communication strategies used the TikTok account @dr.ziee in building personal branding through skincare educational content, as well as assess how such content contributes to shaping a professional image in the eyes of the audience. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this research examines communication patterns, message consistency, and the professional representation displayed by dr. Zie as an aesthetic doctor actively producing dermatology content in TikTok. The finding show that dr. Zie’s use of TikTok successfully established strong personal branding through consistent uploads, accurate science-based information, and friendly communication style. Analysis based on Montoya’s eight personal branding principles indicates that specialization is the most dominant element, reflected on her clear focus on skin-health education and the absence of promotional motives in her content. These findings affirm that TikTok functions not only as entertainment platform but also as a strategi medium for professionals to build legitimacy and public trust through credible educational communication
