Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of training and development of Gen-Z employees in improving service quality at PT JRX Pool & Café. Employee training and development is a key factor in improving skills, work efficiency, and professionalism, especially for Gen-Z employees who have unique characteristics in the world of work. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that training at PT JRX Pool & Café is still limited, with only one implementation in the last three years, as well as retraining which is still in the planning stage. In addition, cross-functional training and creativity programs have not been formally implemented, although there are informal initiatives in some departments. In terms of development, the study found that performance evaluations are conducted regularly through self-assessment and supervisor appraisals. However, there are still challenges in work discipline, absenteeism, and employee initiative in contributing to service innovation. The service quality of Gen-Z employees at PT JRX Pool & Café is considered quite good, but there are still some obstacles in the aspects of reliability, responsiveness, and empathy towards customers. The conclusion of this study confirms that more structured and continuous training and development is urgently needed to improve service quality and customer satisfaction. Companies need to improve training methods to better suit Gen-Z characteristics, including technology-based approaches, real case simulations, and continuous evaluation to ensure service standards remain optimal.

Abstract

This study analyzed the doll quality control system at PT Aurora World Cianjur, which uses the Statistical Quality Control (SQC) method. Results show that tears (37.34%) and basting stitching (35.47%) are the two most dominant production defects, collectively accounting for 72.82% of all defects. Data were collected with check-sheets, while Pareto diagrams identified defect priorities, p-charts evaluated process stability, and fishbone diagrams diagnosed root causes. The most significant finding was that the production process became unstable in May, with the defect rate reaching 0.1536 well above the control limit. Operator skills, material quality, work methods, and environmental conditions were identified as the main contributing factors. Focused improvements are recommended: operator training, material standardization, SOP implementation, and work environment optimization. Consistently addressing these human, method, environment, and material factors is expected to significantly reduce defect rates and enhance export competitiveness.

Abstract

Economic growth in a country can originate from investment activities. Every year, the number of investors in the capital market continues to increase, and these investors are predominantly young investors. Investment activities are inseparable from the investment decision-making process itself. However, in determining investment decisions, investors are influenced by both rational and irrational factors. This study aims to analyze and describe the influence of financial literacy, overconfidence, and risk tolerance on investment decisions among young investors in investment galleries throughout the Greater Bandung area. This research employs descriptive and verificative approaches using primary data and a quantitative methodology. The sampling method utilized is purposive sampling. Data testing and analysis include validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient analysis, coefficient of determination analysis, and hypothesis testing. The research findings demonstrate that financial literacy, overconfidence, and risk tolerance have a significant positive influence both simultaneously and partially on investment decisions among young investors in investment galleries throughout Greater Bandung. These results indicate that enhancing financial literacy, managing overconfidence behavior, and understanding individual risk tolerance profiles are crucial factors in improving the quality of investment decision-making among young investors in Indonesia's emerging capital market.
