Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the influence of Sales Promotion and Shopping Lifestyle on Impulse Buying among Mr DIY consumers in Palembang City. The growth of the retail industry and changes in consumer lifestyles require a deeper understanding of the factors that influence impulse shopping behavior. This research tries to answer the problem regarding the influence of Sales Promotion and Shopping Lifestyle on the tendency to shop impulsively at stores like Mr DIY. The purpose of this research is to find out whether Sales Promotion and Shopping Lifestyle influence Impulse Buying in Mr DIY, Palembang City. This research aims to provide a clear and specific picture of the factors that influence consumers' impulsive shopping decisions. This research uses a quantitative approach with non-probability sampling techniques and a purposive sampling approach to select 100 respondents. Data analysis was carried out using statistical methods which included regression to test the influence of the Sales Promotion and Shopping Lifestyle variables on Impulse Buying. The population of this research is Mr DIY consumers in Palembang City. A sample of 100 respondents was selected purposively to achieve appropriate representation. The research results show that Sales Promotion has no significant effect on Impulse Buying, while Shopping Lifestyle has a positive effect on the impulsive shopping behavior of Mr DIY consumers in Palembang City. In this research it can be concluded that consumer shopping lifestyles influence impulsive shopping tendencies more than sales promotions. The implications of these findings can help design more effective marketing strategies. This research contributes to the understanding of consumer behavior and retail marketing strategies. Knowing that lifestyle shopping has a stronger influence can help stores like Mr DIY to devise promotional and sales strategies that better suit consumer preferences, enrich the literature on impulse shopping, and provide guidance for further research.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM) and Digital Marketing on purchase decisions made by consumers on the Shopee marketplace, especially in Palembang City. The use of E-WOM and Digital Marketing has increased significantly with the development of social media and e-commerce. The research method used was a causality approach with quantitative data collected from 100 Shopee application users in Palembang City through an online questionnaire. The research results showed that E-WOM and Digital Marketing significantly influenced the purchasing decisions made on the Shopee marketplace. Every improvement in online reviews (E-WOM) regarding Shopee led to an increase in purchase decisions. Additionally, an effective Digital Marketing strategy also contributed positively to consumer purchase decisions. The use of technology and online media, particularly related to the Shopee marketplace, was recognized as an important factor in consumer behavior. This study helps to understand the importance of E-WOM and Digital Marketing in online marketing, with a focus on consumers in the city of Palembang. The practical implications of this study are that companies can improve their digital marketing strategies and manage online reviews effectively to positively influence consumer purchase decisions.

Abstract

Pendidikan adalah modal utama masyarakat untuk dapat bersaing dalam dunia pekerjaan dan diharapkan dengan tingginya pendidikan yang dimiliki oleh seorang individu dapat berpengaruh kedalam produktifitas kerja individu itu sendiri. Hal ini akan menjadikan seorang individu lebih siap latih dalam melakukan pekerjaan yang akan memacu tingkat produktifitas tenaga kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis supply tenaga kerja terdidik lulusan Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Variabel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu variabel IPK, lama studi, jenis kelamin, tingkat perusahaan dan gaji sebagai variabel independen dan lama mencari pekerjaan merupakan variabel dependen. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis Unvariat dan Bivariat dengan bantuan alat analisis SPSS versi 25.00. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa IPK, lama studi dan gaji memiliki hubungan dengan lama mencari pekerjaan lulusan Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, sedangkan jenis kelamin dan tingkat perusahaan tidak memiliki hubungan dengan lama mencari pekerjaan lulusan Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengetahui pengaruh kepemilikan institusional, risiko bisnis, struktur aset terhadap struktur modal dengan profitabilitas sebagai variabel moderasi. Populasi penelitian ini adalah perusahaan infrastruktur, utilitas dan transportasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2016-2020. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sehingga diperoleh jumlah sampel sebanyak 155. Analisis data menggunakan software eViews 10. Peneliti menggunakan dua alat analisis yaitu: teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial dengan menggunakan Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemilikan institusional tidak berpengaruh terhadap struktur modal. risiko bisnis berpengaruh negatif terhadap struktur modal. struktur aset berpengaruh positif terhadap struktur modal. profitabilitas tidak mampu memoderasi risiko bisnis terhadap struktur modal. profitabilitas tidak mampu memoderasi struktur aset terhadap struktur modal. Penelitian ini bermanfaat untuk memperluas bidang ilmu struktur modal dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya, sehingga menambah wawasan tentang ilmu struktur modal. Dapat memberikan masukan kepada perusahaan transportasi di Indonesia mengenai struktur modal dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi struktur modal sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai alat pengambilan keputusan. Dapat dijadikan referensi untuk penelitian serupa di masa yang akan datang. Penelitian ini mempunyai implikasi bagi peneliti dan mahasiswa mengenai pengambilan keputusan struktur modal. Nilai Adjusted R Square pada model penelitian hanya sebesar 4,8398% dan 4,1947% pada setiap persamaan regresi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa masih ada variabel lain yang perlu diteliti lebih lanjut. dan jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini terbatas, karena banyak perusahaan yang menggunakan dollar. This study determines the effect of institutional ownership, business risk, asset structure on capital structure with profitability as a moderating variable. The research population is infrastructure, utilities and transportation companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2016-2020. Sampling used purposive sampling technique to obtain a total sample of 155. Data analysis used eViews 10 software. Researchers used two analytical tools, namely: descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistical analysis using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results of the study show that institutional ownership has no effect on capital structure. business risk has a negative effect on capital structure. asset structure has a positive effect on capital structure. profitability is not able to moderate business risks to capital structure. profitability is not able to moderate the asset structure of the capital structure. This research is useful for broadening the field of capital structure science and the factors that influence it, thereby broadening insights about capital structure science. Can provide input to transportation companies in Indonesia regarding capital structure and factors that influence capital structure so that it can be used as a decision-making tool. Can be used as a reference for similar research in the future. This study has implications for researchers and students regarding capital structure decision making. Adjusted R Square values in the research model are only 4.8398% and 4.1947% in each regression equation. This shows that there are still other variables that can be investigated further. and the number of samples in this study is limited, because many companies use dollars.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh Profitabilitas, Likuiditas, Leverage, Komisaris Independen, Dewan Direksi, dan Keberagaman Gender terhadap Financial Distress dengan studi kasus pada Perusahaan Non Keuangan yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Tahun 2019-2020 . Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi logistik dengan bantuan software pengolahan data SPSS (Statistical Package For Social Science) versi 25. penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa profitabilitas berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap Financial Distress, likuiditas tidak berpengaruh terhadap Financial Distress, leverage tidak berpengaruh terhadap Financial Distress, proporsi dewan komisaris independen tidak berpengaruh terhadap Financial Distress, dewan direksi berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap Financial Distress, dan keberagaman gender tidak berpengaruh terhadap Financial Distress. The purpose of this research is to examine and analyze the effect of Profitability, Liquidity, Leverage, Independent Commisioners, Board of Directors, and Gender Diversity to Financial Distress with case studies on Non- Financial Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2020. The data analysis method used is logistic regression analysis with the help of data processing software SPSS (Statistical Package For Social Science) version 25. this study indicate that profitability has a significant negative effect on Financial Distress, liquidity has no effect on Financial Distress, leverage has no effect on Financial Distress, proportion of independent commisioners has no effect on Financial Distress, board of directors has a significant negative effect on Financial Distress, and Gender Diversity has no effect on Financial Distress.
