Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of promotion and the Hajj waiting list on interest in saving on Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Hajj Savings products among the people of Kudus Regency. The phenomenon of the long waiting list for Hajj has encouraged people to start financial planning early, while Islamic banks' promotional efforts also play a crucial role in attracting interest. Using a quantitative approach, this study uses primary data by distributing questionnaires via g-form to people in Kudus City. The number of samples of this study were 80 respondents and used purposive sampling method. The method used in the research is Multiple Regression Analysis using data analysis tools, namely SPSS version 25. Before data analysis, validity, reliability, and classical assumptions were tested, then the t test was carried out to determine the effect partially and the F test to determine the effect simultaneously. The results of this study indicate that promotion partially has a positive and significant effect on saving interest in choosing Hajj savings products at Bank Syariah Indonesia, while the Hajj waiting list has no positive and significant effect on saving interest in choosing Hajj savings products at BSI. Then the F test states that simultaneously promotion and the Hajj waiting list both have a significant and significant effect on savings interest in choosing Hajj savings at BSI.

Abstract

In the economy, Islamic banks have a strategic role in collecting public funds and channeling them to productive sectors to encourage inclusive economic growth. To maintain the sustainability of its role, Islamic banks must manage financial performance optimally. Evaluation of financial performance can be done through key indicators such as Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), BOPO, and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR). This study uses a comparative quantitative approach and applies multiple linear regression analysis to determine the relationship between capital adequacy and operational efficiency on financial performance. This study aims to analyze how CAR and BOPO affect Return on Assets (ROA) on Bank Muamalat and Bank Syariah Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative approach with secondary data obtained through annual financial reports, OJK publications, and academic references. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression and descriptive analysis. The results of this study are expected to yield the finding that CAR and BOPO have a significant effect on ROA and ROE, with different strength and direction of influence on each bank. This anticipated finding will emphasize the importance of capital management and operational efficiency strategies that are adaptive to the characteristics of each institution.

Abstract

Purpose: This study examines the implementation of Sharia financial principles within the financial technology (fintech) ecosystem and diagnoses critical challenges in the digital transformation of Indonesia's Sharia financial sector. Design/methodology/approach: Using a qualitative literature-based approach, the research compiles data from academic sources (journals, books), industry reports, and relevant online publications on fintech and Sharia finance. Analysis employs descriptive-qualitative methods supplemented by content analysis. Findings: Sharia principles (prohibitions against riba, maysir, and gharar) have been integrated into Sharia fintech models based on contracts such as mudharabah and musyarakah. Sharia fintech demonstrably enhances financial inclusion, particularly for MSMEs. Primary constraints include low digital literacy, infrastructure disparities, and regulatory rigidity in responding to technological innovation. Contribution/Originality/Novelty: The study enriches academic discourse on the convergence of Sharia principles with digital financial innovation. Practically, it proposes policy- and education-based strategies for sustainable Sharia fintech development. The research novelty lies in its comprehensive identification of challenges and formulation of strategic frameworks for Sharia fintech advancement in the digital era.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the effect of convenience, security, and service quality on customer satisfaction among student users of BRImo in Semarang City, both simultaneously and partially. Design/methodology/approach: This research employed a quantitative approach using purposive sampling. The population consisted of students in Semarang City who used BRImo, with a total of 152 respondents. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed via Google Form. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS 26 with multiple linear regression, supported by the F-test, t-test, and coefficient of determination (R²). Research Findings: The findings indicate that convenience, security, and service quality partially have a significant effect on customer satisfaction among student BRImo users in Semarang City. Service quality shows the strongest influence on customer satisfaction, although several issues remain such as server disruptions and transaction costs. Security is the second most influential factor, supported by layered features such as OTP and biometric authentication. Convenience has the third strongest influence due to BRImo’s simple interface and complete features. Contribution/Originality/Novelty: This study contributes empirical evidence regarding the key determinants of customer satisfaction in digital banking services, particularly among student users. The novelty of this research lies in its focus on the student segment as a specific user group of BRImo, providing insights for improving service quality, security systems, and user convenience in mobile banking applications.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze consumer protection in sharia business practices in Indonesia, particularly in ensuring justice, honesty, and transparency amid the rapid development of the sharia economy and the challenges of the digital era. Design/methodology/approach: This research uses a literature review method by collecting, examining, analyzing, and synthesizing relevant scientific sources, including journals, books, articles, and previous research reports related to sharia economics and consumer protection. Research Findings: The study finds that the principles of justice, honesty, and transparency are not only moral values but also practical foundations that strengthen interactions between business actors and consumers. Although Indonesia already has a sufficient legal framework for consumer protection, its implementation has not fully aligned with sharia economic principles. Strengthening regulation harmonization, consumer education, and supervision is essential to ensure consumer protection reflects Islamic values. Contribution/Originality/Novelty: This study contributes by offering a conceptual synthesis that integrates consumer protection regulations with core sharia economic principles. It highlights the urgency of harmonizing legal policies and strengthening sharia-based supervision to create fair, transparent, and sustainable business practices in Indonesia.
