Abstract

The decision support system employs the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to enhance the selection of outstanding students at SMA Muhammadiyah 8 Palembang. This system acknowledges the limitations of the current evaluation process, which relies solely on academic scores and aims to rectify this by integrating additional factors like attendance, behavior, and non-academic achievements. The AHP method's systematic breakdown of criteria and sub-criteria, supported by figures and tables, elucidates the decision-making process, ensuring a more comprehensive evaluation framework. The development of this system follows the Waterfall model, emphasizing sequential phases from analysis to implementation, yet acknowledging its challenges in accommodating evolving requirements. The method section expounds on the AHP process, delineating its steps in structuring problems, conducting pairwise comparisons, creating priority matrices, and arriving at conclusive decisions. It also outlines the hierarchical model and the subsequent ranking of alternatives, showcasing how the AHP method facilitates a fairer assessment of outstanding students. The conclusion underscores the system's functionality, validated through Black Box testing, affirming its alignment with initial expectations. Overall, this comprehensive approach advocates for a more holistic method of identifying outstanding students.

Abstract

This study addresses the imperative need for active and efficient management of Community Health Centers (Puskesmas) in Indonesia, as mandated by the Minister of Health's Regulation. The role of these centers in managing and planning health development within their work areas is crucial for comprehensive, integrated, acceptable, and affordable health efforts. The utilization of visualization, particularly through computer technology, emerges as a vital tool for conveying complex health data to the public, facilitating quicker understanding and informed decision-making. Focusing on the Sumber Marga Telang Health Center in South Sumatra Province, the research employs a structured waterfall model for system development. The Naive Bayes algorithm is utilized to classify internal and eye diseases, offering a practical solution to the challenge of conveying disease data to the public effectively. In conclusion, this research provides a comprehensive approach to enhancing health information dissemination and data visualization at community health centers, contributing significantly to public awareness and preventive healthcare efforts.

Abstract

In the evolving landscape of technology, the amalgamation of open data and machine learning stands as a powerful catalyst for innovation. This study explores the dynamic synergy between these domains, where open data's accessibility and transparency converge with machine learning's pattern recognition and predictive capabilities. The fusion holds immense promise across diverse sectors, from healthcare to finance, urban planning, and environmental science. By leveraging advanced algorithms on openly available information, organizations can gain unprecedented insights into trends, correlations, and anomalies, fostering a culture of innovation. The methodology involves a comprehensive literature review, knowledge enrichment, case studies, and conclusion, providing a systematic approach to understanding the intersection of open data and machine learning. The results showcase practical applications in predictive policing, healthcare resource allocation, smart traffic management, and more. Each application is supported by relevant machine learning algorithms, emphasizing their role in addressing complex challenges. The study culminates with a simplified example of predictive policing using a Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm, showcasing its pseudocode and decision function equation. This example illustrates how machine learning can predict crime occurrences based on patrol data and historical crime rates. Overall, this fusion marks a pivotal chapter in technological progress and societal advancement.

Abstract

In this study, the challenges faced by Tanjung Kerang Village in providing optimal community administration services using conventional methods are highlighted. The village, despite having a relatively large population, faces issues such as long queues, delays due to forgotten requirements, and difficulties in accessing data for administrative processes. To address these challenges, the study proposes the implementation of a community service administration information system using the Prototype Model in software development. The Prototype Model, characterized by quick iterations, user involvement, and continuous refinement, is chosen as the methodology for system development. This approach allows for the creation of a preliminary version of the software that undergoes testing and refinement in multiple cycles. The iterative nature of the model, coupled with user feedback, facilitates the gradual convergence towards a final, fully functional system. In conclusion, the Prototype Model proves instrumental in addressing the identified challenges, offering a systematic and iterative approach to enhance community administration services. The proposed information system has the potential to significantly improve service delivery, making it more effective and efficient for both administrators and the community.
