Abstract

Permanent press by using resin will increase the resistance of the desired material properties. The refinement process to obtain permanent fold properties in polyester fibers is obtained by forming a polymer resin layer on the surface of the fabric. The more resin used, the less the ability of the fabric to come back from the crease, so the permanent crease finish will be more permanent. However, with more and more resin polymerizing on the surface, the fabric will be stiffer and can reduce the tensile strength of the fiber, the occurrence of the resin polymerization process is influenced by the temperature of the preserved heating when the temperature is less then the resin is not formed perfectly or if the temperature is too high it can cause damage to the fiber. This test was carried out on 100% polyester fabric with variations in the concentration of melamine formaldehyde resin 40 g/l, 50 g/l, 60 g/l, 70 g/l and variations in the curing temperature of 1600C, 1700C, 1800C, 1900C. Tests carried out include re-testing of the folds and tensile strength of the fabric. The results showed that the optimum conditions achieved in this experiment were at a concentration of melamine formaldehyde resin of 60 g/l with a preserved heating temperature of 1700C, a low folding angle value of 740 was obtained with a tensile strength value that above the minimal standards, namely the warp 75.7 Kg and weft 22.7 Kg.

Abstract

The process of bleach washing on denim fabrics produces a paler or lighter shabby effect. The shabby effect is produced by using an oxidizing agent. The application of sodium hypochlorite can cause a decrease in color aging of denim fabrics and high tensile strength. The pH condition also affects the occurrence of oxycellulose damage which will affect the final result. Inappropriate pH will cause a very high oxidation process and produce a less shabby effect and can cause a decrease in tensile strength. Therefore, the concentration of NaOCl and pH must be adjusted properly so that optimal results are obtained. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of optimum concentration of sodium hypochorite (NaOCl) and pH on the physical properties of denim fabric. After the process of bleach washing process experiment was carried out, a test was carried out based on two-factor Anova statistical data and the optimum visual test fabric results were obtained at a NaOCl concentration of 2 g/L using alkaline pH (10-11). The test values were obtained as follows: color fastness to rubbing are 3-4 for dry, 2-3 for wet, tensile strength 67.4 kg in warp direction, 43.1 in weft direction, fabric stiffness in warp direction 430.48, weft direction 344.54. The factory standard for a tensile strength of 65 kg warp direction, 40 kg weft direction, color fastness to rubbing 3 for dry rubbing and 2 for wet rubbing. Abstract

In the weaving process, the process of launching the weft yarn is an important thing to consider. One of the obstacles that often occurs in the process of launching feed using a water jet loom machine is the amount of feed stuck (weft stop). The cause of the weft stop is because the process of opening the warp mouth is not clean and the weft thread slides inappropriately or too fast so that the warp mouth is in a small condition. Variations in timing opening angle of 700, 800 and 900 determine the size of the warp mouth opening, the time the weft will slide and the time the weft will arrive. From the three variations of the timing opening angle, the number of weft stops at the timing opening angle of 800 is smaller than the timing opening angle of 700 and 900, which is namely the number of big loops 0.6 times and end loops 0.8 times per hour.

Abstract

Inti permasalahan dari penelitian ini yaitu pesatnya tren virtual hotel operator di Indonesia sehingga perlu untuk mengukur penerimaan terhadap teknologi mobile ini menggunakan MTAM. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif dan teknik analisis data regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa mobile perceived facilitating condition dan mobile perceived compatibility berpengaruh signifikan secara parsial maupun simultan terhadap mobile perceived usefulness dan mobile perceived ease of use. Kemudian mobile perceived usefulness dan mobile perceived ease of use berpengaruh signifikan secara parsial dan simultan terhadap consumer intention to use. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa setiap variabel yang diuji dapat dengan baik mempengaruhi variabel lain, namun perlu dikembangkan lagi pelaksanaan konkritnya pada aplikasi virtual hotel operator.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is the application of quality control tools within the scope of increasing productivity of the packaging department at PT. XYZ. This study aims to determine the factors causing the decline in productivity in the packing warehouse area. The first step of the research is to analyze the input data using a Pareto diagram. The source of problems that occur from outside the packing area are four cases, namely Canceled Delivery, Part Received Without Documents, No Stock and Quality Issue. Meanwhile, for problems that occur from internal packaging, there are two, namely the No Packaging Box and No Operator Entering. By using the Ishikawa diagram and 5 whys, the sources of problems that occur in the internal packing area are analyzed further and obtained several sources of problems that contribute greatly to the decline in productivity in the packaging area, namely the process of purchasing packaging boxes which takes quite a long time and long working hours from the packaging team. Some of the solutions for internal problems offered include changing the carton box procurement process using blanket orders, upgrading the team leader's capabilities with order and budget monitoring capabilities, proposing changes in the production flow for semi-finished goods and a proposal to create a temporary warehouse for semi-finished goods. Abstrak: Penelitian ini merupakan penerapan dari alat pengendalian qualitas dalam lingkup peningkatan produktivitas bagian pengepakan di PT. XYZ. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab penurunan produktivitas diarea gudang pengepakan. Langkah awal penelitian dengan menganalisa data masukan menggunakan diagram Pareto. Sumber masalah yang terjadi dari luar area pengepakan ada empat kasus yaitu Pengiriman Dibatalkan, Part Diterima Tanpa Dokumen, Stock Tidak Ada dan Ada Issue Kualitas. Sementara untuk masalah yang terjadi dari internal pengepakan ada dua yaitu Box Pengemas Tidak ada dan Operator Tidak Masuk. Dengan menggunakan diagram Ishikawa dan 5 whys , sumber masalah yang terjadi di internal area pengepakan dianalisa lebih lanjut dan diperoleh beberapa sumber masalah yang berkontribusi besar terhadap penuruan produktivitas di area pengepakan yaitu proses pembelian box pengemas yang memakan waktu cukup lama dan jam kerja yang panjang dari tim pengepakan. Beberapa solusi untuk permasalah internal yang ditawarkan antara lain merubah proses pengadaan karton box dengan menggunakan blanket order, mengupgrade kemampuan team leader dengan kemampuan order dan budget monitoring, mengusulkan perubahan alur produksi untuk barang-barang setengah jadi serta usulan untuk membuat gudang sementara untuk barang setengah jadi.

Abstract

Inventory of raw materials is the initial process in planning and controlling production. Because by planning and controlling raw materials, it becomes one of the processes to produce an optimal production system. In order for raw material inventory to be controlled, the MRP method is used in its completion. In the case study at CV Ajax Sport, it is known that controlling raw material inventory using MRP produces an inventory value of Rp. 139,911,944,- for 12 weeks, with the number of orders for F300 raw materials as many as 71,716 units and for G300 raw materials as many as 67,297 units. And this value shows a very large value both financially and product units, so it must be managed appropriately and accurately.
