Jurnal Teknik Transportasi (Journal of Transportation Engineering) is a scientific periodical publication of the Faculty of Transportation and Logistics Engineering, Trisakti Institute of Transportation and Logistics (Institut Transportasi dan Logistik Trisakti). JTT focuses on the field of transportation engineering related to aerospace engineering with airport characteristics, marine engineering with port characteristics and environmental infrastructure engineering with railway characteristics. JTT was published for the first time for Volume 1 No. 1 in April 2020, then the second issue of Vol 2 No. 2 in October 2020. But then it stopped publishing for 2 years and is now being published again with a new design and a new strategy and journal publishing policy while still using EISSN 2722-9599. This new issue begins in May 2023 as Vol 2 No. 1 and will be published next.

Abstract

Fender is one of the most important parts of a wharf planning, which has a function as a cushion that is useful for absorbing impact energy from ships. Therefore, in selecting the type fender really need to pay attention to several things, one of which is the capacity of the ship. Bungkutoko Kendari Special Terminal plans to build a wharf multipurpose with a vessel capacity of 30,000 DWT. The calculation of the ship capacity refers to two different types of ships nameny container and general cargo. The purpose of this study to determine the value berhing energy, choose a type super cone fender based on value berthing energy, knowing the value of the impact force to the reaction energy of the type super cone fender the chosen. The ship data used is secondary data obtained from related companies and agencies and then analyzed to calculate the value berthing energy, distance between fenders, and impact force. The results of the research show value berthing energy obtained is 592 kNm for container ships and 316.45 for ships general cargo. Therefore selected type fender SCN 1.150H F 1.2 and SCN 950H F 1.0 with ideal mounting distances fender of 4.6 meters.

Abstract

Operational performance of piers 05B and 05C in loading and unloading services dry bulk and general cargo in the Ciwandan Terminal of Port of Banten is not yet optimal. There are many contributing factors, including the use of inappropriate fenders. Therefore this research was conducted to analyze the operational performance of pier and effect of fender to that performance. The research method is quantitative using secondary data. The service fluency is measured through ship service performance indicators (waiting time, approach time, effective time and berthing time), loading and unloading services T/G/H (Ton/Gang/Hour), BOR (berth occupancy ratio), then associated with the effect of use fender. The analysis results show that performance of pier 05B and 05C on waiting time value is not good more than 1 hour, approach time good enough under 1 hour, ET:BT values โ€‹โ€‹76.01% and 76.14% close to standard (80%), T/G/H values dry bulk not good and general cargo good, BOR is below standard (< 70%), with suggested improvement waiting time, T/G/H and BOR. Analysis condition of fender that not according to pier conditions, and it is recommended to use fenders type cone SCN-1000H F1.1. Analysis of mooring energy are 385 kNm and the horizontal force is 647Kn, so distance between fenders is suggested to be 8-12 meters.

Abstract

Trains operate supported by many factors, one of which is signaling and telecommunications equipment. This equipment must get a continuous supply of electricity, so that train operations are safe and smooth. One way to protect the power supply is by installing a battery uninterrupted power supply (UPS), as a source of electrical energy storage as a backup. To keep the battery in optimal condition, 1 month, 3 months and 12 months preventive maintenance is carried out. Treatment 12 months, tested with the method coulomb counting with discharge against the battery up to 80% total wasted capacity, to get the value state of health battery. There are 54 batteries valve-regulated lead acid (VRLA) with a voltage of 2 V and a nominal capacity of 200 Ah, which is connected in series with the voltage cut off 1.85 V. The results of preventive maintenance are seen by testing discharge battery at station A, namely the SoH condition where all the batteries are above the value of 80%, while at station B there are 5 batteries with SoH values โ€‹โ€‹of 78%, 80%, 58%, 74%, and 72%, so the batteries must be replaced at fifth batteries with SoH rating of 80% and below.

Abstract

KRL Commuter Line and MRT Jakarta, serving urban population mobility with high transport capacity. The development of urban rail signaling, making the choice of signaling system application to headway be competitive. However, it is necessary to choose the right one, so this research is carried out, with the aim of knowing the effect of the signaling system on headway urban railways, by comparing conventional and CBTC signaling systems. This research method is quantitative and qualitative, using primary data from observation at MRT Jakarta, Gapeka KRLCommuter Line and Time Table MRT Jakarta, interviews with experts and passenger through techniques purposive sampling and based analysis coding. The results of research that CBTC uses moving block, make headway more stable. Headway Jakarta MRT 3 minutes, with 99.98% time liness and better than KRL Commuter Line. Factor affecting headway urban trains, namely crossing gates, number of facilities, length of traffic, number of stopping stations, dwelling time, signaling systems, and personnel.

Abstract

This research was conducted at pier 004 of Port of Banten to analyze the performance of ship services and liquid bulk cargo, with 31% fuel and 69% non-fuel. The results of the analysis are compared with operational performance standards, that the performance of pier 004 was waiting time value good of 0.42 below standard 1 hour, approach time value good of 0.87 below standard 1 hour, good of ET:BT ratio 69.2% below standard 80%, and BOR value with 1 mooring good of 50% below standard 70%. Overall the service performance of pier 004 is good. The results of the analysis of the projections for the next 10 years, the current cargo load in 2022 is 509,289 tons/m3 and in 2032 it will reach 603,618 tons/m3, the ship call will increase by 8 tankers every year and in 2032 it will reach 278 ships, with an LOA classification of 164 m, with a maximum DWT of 50,000. Therefore the capacity of the pier must be anticipated to be developed, including adding 2 units mooring dolphin dimensions of length 9.6 m x 10 m, dredging pond of pier -3.90 m, replacement type fender cell and cone with specifications SCK 14500/SCN 1100 or CSS 1450 H/SPC 1100 H.
