Abstract

Increasing the ability of builders to apply ferrocement technology as a building material is a very urgent activity. The use of visual presentations that represent Off the job training methods and job instruction training that represent On the job training as training methods for builders needs to be further investigated for their level of effectiveness. This research was conducted to measure the effectiveness of the two training methods using different tests. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of the visual presentation method compared to job instruction training. The results of the research show that there are real differences in the indicators of skilled builders stripping plaster, skilled builders installing woven wire stands and knowing their sizes, skilled builders installing woven wire, skilled builders installing binding wire, understanding the sequence of implementation and understanding every detail. the size of each step in implementing ferrocement technology. The research results also stated that there was no difference in the ability indicators for Skilled Builders to Install Plaster using the Visual Presentations or Job Instruction Training methods.

Abstract

Java Road is one of the roads located in Sumbersari District, Jember Regency, which is very busy and strategic, causing several problems, such as congestion, noise, traffic accidents and other things. Research on the level of satisfaction of Javanese road users is an urgent matter that must be done. The aim of this research is to analyze the level of importance and performance of Javanese roads. In this research, the basis for making the instrument was based on interviews with stakeholders and based on the RUSI (Road User Satisfaction Index) standard which had been used in previous research. The research results show that the Road User Satisfaction Index (RUSI) value on Javanese roads is 58.50. The RUSI value is in the range between 51-65.99 percent with quite satisfactory criteria.

Abstract

The Jember Millennium Home Center Project experienced delays, because there was a difference between the costs that should have been spent not in accordance with the scheduled work performance and the difference here is negative. Therefore, research on cost index analysis and schedule performance index on the Jember Millennium Home Center project has no shortage of costs and the realization of completion work in the field is late. The purpose of this research is to calculate CPI and SPI. The method used in this research is Earned Value Analysis. The results showed that the Schedule Variant (SV) had a negative value of -Rp.30,940,091.57. While the value (CV) for 15 weeks has a positive value of Rp. 16,779,031.46, - from the difference in BCWP fees of Rp. 47,719,123 and ACWP Rp. 30,940,091, - means the project does not suffer losses.

Abstract

The rehabilitation of the D.I Sumber Nangka Irrigation Network takes 180 days or about 6 months to implement, with a budget of Rp. 4,077,964,693. In this study, the authors will analyze the data using the Earned Value method. Therefore, there is no shortage of research on the basic components of project work costs and the realization of completion of work in the field is not too late. The purpose of this research is to calculate the cost of BCWS, BCWP, and ACWP. The results of the D.I Sumber Nangka Irrigation Network Rehabilitation study, Kec. Ledokombo was completed in the 24th week with a total cost of Rp. 4,077,964,693. in the 1st week to the 24th week the fee used is Rp. 3,702,175,554.

Abstract

The foundation is a base or bottom structure that can carry all the loads above it. Foundation bearing capacity and foundation settlement are very important for foundation planning. In the construction project for the Faculty of Agricultural Technology building at Jember Polytechnic, a recalculation analysis was carried out to compare the carrying capacity using two methods, namely HSPD and Drop Hammer. Soil bearing capacity is calculated based on Standard Penetration Test (SPT) data from 2 soil investigation points. Next, the soil bearing capacity is calculated using the Drop Hammer assumption. The research results show that there is a difference in the carrying capacity of HSPD and Drop Hammer. And the results can be carried out using 2 HSPD heavy equipment and a Drop Hammer at that location. In comparison, Drop Hammer and HSPD driving on a 25 x 25cm mini pile foundation can be carried out. And in the field you can use 2 heavy equipment simultaneously, namely HSPD for spun pile D 50 cm at the smallest permitted carrying capacity value of 68 tonnes at a depth of approximately 12 meters and drop hammer for mini piles at a permitted carrying capacity value of 40.94 tonnes at a depth of approximately 6 meters. However, if you use a drop hammer in areas near residents, don't forget to plan the trench work to reduce vibrations to the surrounding area.
