Abstract

Maternal and infant mortality in Indonesia remains high due to limited use of professional birth attendants. In Merangin, Jambi, many still prefer traditional birth helpers despite available healthcare. This study explored service-related factors influencing pregnant women’s choice at Muara Jernih Health Centre. Using a quantitative survey on 73 respondents, data were analysed through T-tests, F-tests, and regression. Findings showed knowledge, attitudes, and family support significantly affect choices (p 0.05). Though most received professional advice, 34.2% still used traditional attendants. Cultural factors and service quality also play roles. Strengthening education, family involvement, and local health services is vital to improve outcomes.

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of the Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) at Prof. Dr. H. M. Anwar Makkatutu Regional Hospital, Bantaeng Regency, South Sulawesi, focusing on infrastructure, human resources (HR), and operational procedures. SIMRS is designed to integrate hospital services, administration, and management to improve efficiency and healthcare quality. Using a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews and direct observation of hospital management, SIMRS staff, and service users. Thematic analysis was conducted to identify obstacles, supporting factors, and the role of management. The findings show that SIMRS implementation remains suboptimal. Key obstacles include internet and server disruptions, limited computer facilities, and inadequate number and competence of HR. Technical training is infrequent, and SOP application is inconsistent due to technical issues and system incompatibility. Supporting factors include management support, system integration between units, and basic operator understanding of the Kanza application. In conclusion, SIMRS success depends on infrastructure readiness, HR capacity, and procedural consistency. A sustainable integration strategy is required to overcome these barriers and strengthen the hospital information system for optimal service delivery.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of strategic leadership and performance appraisal on job satisfaction and its implications for employee performance at Prof. Dr. H. M. Anwar Makkatutu Bantaeng Regional General Hospital. The quantitative research method used was descriptive and verification analysis to examine the influence of variables on 88 respondents. The results of the study showed that there was a significant influence of the variable of strategic leadership influence on employee performance, obtaining a coefficient value of 26.7% with a calculated t value of 9,275, performance assessment on job satisfaction 41.2% with a calculated t value of 11,518, job satisfaction on performance 61.9% with a calculated t value of 11,817, strategic leadership on employee performance 4% with a calculated t value of 2,170, performance assessment on employee performance 8% with a calculated t value of 2,994, the simultaneous influence of strategic leadership and performance assessment on job satisfaction with a calculated f value of 11,964, the indirect influence of strategic leadership on employee performance through job satisfaction 40.6% with a Sobel test value of 4,183, performance assessment on employee performance through job satisfaction 50.5% with a Sobel test value of 3,404 with all p values 0.005. This means that all hypotheses are accepted. The research concludes that hypotheses 1-8 have direct, simultaneous, and indirect effects, capable of mediating between variables.

Abstract

Maintaining toddlers’ health from an early age is very important for their growth and development. Achieving good health in toddlers requires support from mothers, who play a crucial role in children’s growth and development; therefore, the author is very interested in conducting this study. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of mothers’ level of knowledge, education, and behavior on the health status of toddlers at the Rantau Panjang Community Health Center in Jambi. This is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. The study population comprised 322 mothers who had toddlers and visited the Rantau Panjang Community Health Center, Jambi, from January 2024 to August 2024. Sampling used the Slovin formula, yielding a sample of 80 respondents. This study employed univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analyses. The results showed that most mothers had a good level of knowledge, namely 60 (75%); the majority had higher education, 43 (53.8%); and most exhibited good behavior, 60 (75%). There was an effect of mothers’ level of knowledge on toddlers’ health status at the Rantau Panjang Community Health Center, Jambi, amounting to 44.8%. There was an effect of mothers’ education on toddlers’ health status amounting to 10.7%. There was an effect of mothers’ behavior on toddlers’ health status amounting to 65.7%. Simultaneously, there was an effect of mothers’ knowledge level, education, and behavior on toddlers’ health status at the Rantau Panjang Community Health Center, Jambi, amounting to 66.3%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of therapeutic communication in Islamic counseling guidance to address career anxiety faced by Generation Z. Utilizing a literature review method with a descriptive-qualitative approach, this study integrates data from relevant scholarly journals, articles, and textbooks. The analysis was conducted using thematic techniques to identify the key concepts of therapeutic communication and its relevance to career counseling in Islam. The findings indicate that therapeutic communication plays a significant role in building empathetic relationships between counselors and clients through elements such as empathy, openness, and active listening. In the Islamic context, this approach emphasizes spiritual values such as tawakal (trust in God), rahmah (compassion), and ikhtiar (effort), which help Generation Z face career anxiety more calmly and purposefully. A holistic approach that integrates spiritual and psychological values is also proven effective in assisting clients in overcoming career dilemmas and building their confidence. This study concludes that the integration of therapeutic communication in Islamic counseling guidance can provide holistic solutions to the career challenges of Generation Z. It not only focuses on psychological issues but also strengthens the clients' spiritual relationship with God, creating emotional balance and providing motivation to face life’s challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of healthcare service quality, healthcare facilities, and nursing care on outpatient satisfaction at Puskesmas Rantau Panjang, Merangin, Jambi. A quantitative approach was employed using Partial Least Squares (PLS) to analyze the relationships among the variables. The sample consisted of 98 respondents selected through purposive sampling, with questionnaires distributed to outpatients based on inclusion criteria. The results indicate that healthcare service quality is perceived as fairly good, healthcare facilities are categorized as good, and nursing care is considered fairly good. Partially, healthcare service quality and healthcare facilities significantly affect patient satisfaction, whereas nursing care does not show a significant effect. However, when examined simultaneously, the three exogenous variables collectively demonstrate a significant impact on outpatient satisfaction, with an R-square value of 0.62, suggesting that 62% of the variation in patient satisfaction can be explained by these variables. The study concludes that enhancing healthcare service quality and providing adequate facilities are key determinants of patient satisfaction. The findings carry managerial implications, emphasizing that Puskesmas management should prioritize improving service quality and upgrading facilities to enhance overall patient satisfaction

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh citra merek dan kualitas produk terhadap keputusan pembelian sabun mandi merek Lifebuoy di Hypermart Supermall Karawaci, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode asosiatif dengan melibatkan 96 responden sebagai sampel penelitian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan regresi linier sederhana dan berganda, serta uji signifikansi secara parsial dan simultan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa citra merek berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Hal ini berarti semakin baik citra merek Lifebuoy, semakin tinggi kecenderungan konsumen untuk melakukan pembelian. Kualitas produk juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, yang mengindikasikan bahwa semakin baik kualitas produk yang dirasakan konsumen, semakin besar kemungkinan mereka memilih Lifebuoy sebagai produk pilihan. Secara simultan, citra merek dan kualitas produk bersama-sama memengaruhi keputusan pembelian, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kedua faktor tersebut merupakan aspek penting yang harus diperhatikan oleh perusahaan dalam meningkatkan daya tarik produk dan loyalitas konsumen.

Abstract

This Community Service Program aims to enhance the capacity of patin fish business actors in District 13 Koto Kampar through the adoption of digital technology in production recording, supply chain management, and market information utilization. The main problems faced by the partners include inaccurate manual recording, inefficiencies in distribution, and limited access to data and market opportunities. To address these challenges, the program was carried out through a series of training sessions, technical assistance, demonstrations of digital application usage, and evaluations conducted before and after the activities. The implementation methods focused on improving participants’ skills in adopting digital recording systems, understanding modern supply chain–based distribution flows, and utilizing market information to increase competitiveness. The evaluation results indicate a significant increase in competencies across all measured aspects. The average pre-test and post-test scores improved in Digital Production Recording (from 58 to 84), Supply Chain Management (from 55 to 82), and Market Information Utilization (from 52 to 80). This improvement reflects the success of the program in strengthening the participants’ digital capacities and enhancing the operational efficiency of their businesses. Overall, the program provides positive impacts on the digitalization of local fisheries enterprises while building a stronger foundation for the development of sustainable marketing and distribution strategies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kontribusi penyuluhan sosial dalam membangun literasi keluarga mengenai dampak jangka panjang pernikahan anak di Desa Kanjilo, Kecamatan Barombong, Kabupaten Gowa. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari masih kuatnya praktik pernikahan anak yang didorong oleh tekanan sosial, keterbatasan ekonomi, serta rendahnya literasi keluarga mengenai risiko kesehatan, pendidikan, dan psikososial. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif pendekatan studi kasus, data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi partisipatif terhadap informan yang dipilih secara purposive, terdiri atas orang tua, remaja, tokoh masyarakat, dan penyuluh sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyuluhan sosial secara signifikan meningkatkan pemahaman keluarga mengenai risiko jangka panjang pernikahan anak, memperluas perspektif pengasuhan, serta mendorong perubahan dalam pengambilan keputusan keluarga. Intervensi penyuluhan yang menekankan dialog, contoh kasus lokal, dan simulasi dampak sosial-ekonomi mampu membangun kesadaran kritis keluarga serta memfasilitasi munculnya norma baru yang lebih mendukung penundaan usia menikah. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penyuluhan sosial memiliki kontribusi strategis dalam memperkuat literasi keluarga dan mencegah pernikahan anak, sekaligus merekomendasikan penguatan komponen literasi hukum, ekonomi, dan digital dalam paket penyuluhan agar efektivitasnya lebih berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze financial performance in predicting stock value and offers a new perspective by exploring how dividend policy can strengthen or weaken the influence of financial performance on the stock value of Sharia Food and Beverages Stock companies. This type of research uses a quantitative approach. Data analysis used in this study is using panel data regression with a purposive sampling method. The population in this study were 7 food and beverage sector companies in the sharia stock category in 2018-2023. While the sample in this study was the annual financial reports of 7 food and beverage sector companies in the sharia stock category in 2018-2023 as many as 42 data. And the results of the hypothesis test show that the ROA, Current Ratio, DER and TATO variables have a significant positive effect on Stock Price, in addition, dividend policy is able to moderate the effect of the Current Ratio, DER and TATO variables on Stock Price. However, dividend policy does not moderate the effect of the ROA variable on Stock Price. This finding implies that the company's financial performance in general has an important role in determining investor perceptions of the company's stock value. Thus, company management needs to pay attention to increasing the efficiency of asset use (TATO), liquidity (Current Ratio), and capital structure (DER), as well as the ability to generate profits (ROA) to attract investor interest and encourage an increase in share prices
