Abstract

The incidence of deaths due to HIV-AIDS among young people throughout the world shows an alarming trend. Statistical data shows that every day, 4000 people, including 1100 young people (aged 15-24 years), are infected with HIV. The research aimed to assess the impact of HIV-AIDS health education media using audio-visual methods on adolescents' knowledge and attitudes at SMAN 2 Central Cikarang. The research, conducted in 2023, utilized a pre-experimental design with a pretest-posttest one-group setup. The study population comprised all SMAN 2 Central Cikarang students, totaling 814 individuals, with a sample size of 86 chosen through non-probability purposive sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire. Statistical analysis using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test revealed a significant influence, as evidenced by an increase in the average knowledge and attitude scores of the teenagers regarding HIV-AIDS following the health education intervention (p-value = 0.000). This suggests a positive impact of audio visual methods on adolescents' understanding and perceptions of HIV-AIDS.

Stunting is one of the nutritional status cases experienced by most toddlers worldwide. WHO 2020 revealed that Indonesia is the second country in Asia with the highest prevalence of 31.8% of stunting problems in toddlers. The socioeconomic status of the residents of Ngalang on the incidence of stunting toddlers aged 12-60 months was found to be 40 toddlers short and 6 toddlers very short. This study was conducted to determine the relationship between socioeconomic status and the incidence of stunting in Ngalang Gunungkidul. This type of quantitative research uses a cross-sectional design. Population 85 parents of toddlers 12-60 months with stunting conditions. After the Spearmen rho test was obtained, many members in the family p=0.019; of many children of the family, p=0.010, the father's educational status is p=0.058, the mother's educational status is p=0.025, and the monthly income in the family p=0.023. There is Stunting is a prevalent nutritional issue among toddlers globally. The results showed a significant relationship between family size, number of children, mother's educational status, family income, and stunting in toddlers. However, no significant relationship was found between the father's educational status and stunting, suggesting the need for further research on the father's role. Abstract

Factors affecting the growth and development of babies include sleep and rest. The quality of a baby's sleep is influenced by various factors such as the environment, nutrition, illness, and physical activity. This study aimed to investigate the impact of positive sleep training methods on the sleep quality of 3-4-month-old babies at the Mulyoagung Village Health Post. The study involved a population of 50 babies, with a sample of 36 babies. Data was collected through pre-test and post-test questionnaires, and the analysis involved univariate methods like frequency distribution and bivariate methods like Wilcoxon. The research demonstrates the changes by implementing positive sleep training for babies aged 3-4 months at the village health post in Mulyoagung. The results of the Wilcoxon test showed a significant result of 0.000 (p 0.005), indicating that the implementation of positive routine sleep training methods influenced the sleep quality of babies aged 3-4 months. Abstract

Stunting, a condition resulting from inadequate nutrition, recurrent infections, and insufficient psychosocial stimulation, affects children's development. It is characterized by stunted growth due to nutritional deficiencies and chronic or recurring infectious diseases, indicated by a height-for-age z-score of less than -2 standard deviations. In Indonesia, the average prevalence of stunting among children under five is 30.8%. In Central Java, the prevalence is 28.5%, and in Semarang, it is 16.89%. The prevalence of stunting in Tegal City is projected to decrease by 6.7% in 2019, 4.76% in 2020, and 7.1% in 2021, reaching 16.8% from the initial value of 23.9%. This descriptive study focuses on identifying the determinants of mothers with stunted children. The study included all mothers with stunted children under five years of age in 7 villages of Tegal City, with a sample size of 27 willing participants. The findings highlight family income and maternal parity as the most dominant characteristics among the respondents. Maternal anemia, CED history, and excellent maternal knowledge level were also noted.
