Abstract

The problem of storage space requirements in compressed record database applications is one of the main problems that can affect the performance of the compressed record database application itself. This is due to the large number of data records stored in the database. One solution that can be done to overcome this problem is to compress the database file. The compression process in this study was carried out based on the Additive Code algorithm by building a desktop-based database record compression application. The initial process carried out to implement this method is to prepare the SQL file to be compressed, the compression process takes place when the SQL file has finished uploading, then pressing the compression button on the database record compression application and the decompression process takes place when downloading the compressed SQL file and pressing the decompress button. on database record compression applications. Based on the results of the tests carried out, it was obtained that the Ratio of Compression (RC) was 1.33, the Compression Ratio (Cr) was reduced by 75%, Redundancy (Rd) was reduced by 25% and Space Saving (Ss) was reduced by 25%. These results indicate that the storage space requirements for database compression applications record databases more optimally than before the compression process was applied

Abstract

The selection of the best employee is the company's appreciation for the performance of its employees. This can motivate employees to be more motivated at work. To get the names of the best employees, a system is needed that performs the expected selection process and can produce objective and transparent information. In finding the best employees, the company does this by appointing without a reliable enough assessment. Therefore, a decision support system is needed in evaluating employee performance. This research uses the multi-attribute utility theory method. The data processed for this evaluation are 10 samples from CV Aurelia Weida Prima Medan. The evaluation is based on several criteria and weights given. There are 6 data criteria to assess employee performance, namely service (30% weight), integrity (20% weight), commitment (15% weight), discipline (20% weight), cooperation (13% weight), and employee performance (12% weight). From the calculation results, the employee who has the highest score is obtained. Therefore, the maximum value is obtained at A9 = 15.746, and the minimum value is obtained at A1 = 1.410. Will be considered for CV later. Aurelia Weida Prima Medan evaluates its employees over a while. It turns out that choosing the best employee performance helps CV. Aurelia Weida Prima Medan.

Abstract

Currently, application users use information more and more commonly. However, there is a problem that is often encountered, namely the need for large data so that less storage space is needed. Apart from that, the small amount of storage space also affects the speed of sending data. One of the data that is often used is PDF format files. The solution to this problem is to compress the PDF file. Compression is a process of changing a collection of data into a form of code to save on data storage requirements so that the data used is not too large. The Arithemtic Coding algorithm is a data compression algorithm that can be used, by knowing the results of the compression ratio and redundancy process. In applying the Arithmetic Coding algorithm in this research, it can provide compression results which initially have a large size which can be compressed very well in PDF files and the compression results show a compression ratio of 2.15 while the Compression ratio is 46% and Redundancy 54% will be beneficial in sending and moving PDF files will be even easier

Abstract

Hypoparathyroidism is a disease in which the paratiroid gland in the body only emits a slight amount of the paratiroid hormone. Each person has four parathyroid glands located in the neck, near the thyroid. The paratiroid gland secretes the hormone paratiroid (PTH). In the human body the paratiroid hormone ACTS to maintain a balance of two minerals, calcium and phosphate. Calcium is needed to ensure the smooth operation of the nerves, muscles, and heart. Phosphate is needed in bone formation and teeth. As a result of the hypoparthyroid, the body will develop electrolytic dislytes of low levels of calcium (hypokalsemia) and high levels of phosphate (hyperphosphate). If found in the early stages, the disease is not a serious condition, although sufferers will need doctors' care and supervision throughout their life. In this study the authors wish to diagnose symptoms of hypoparatiroid disease by using systems of experts. The system of experts is a branch of computer-based artificial intelligence that employs specialized knowledge, facts and reasoning techniques in solving the problem of a particular expert in the field to solve a particular problem. In the system experts there is the Certainty Factor method that can prove whether a fact is certain or uncertain that is meant to diagnose the hypoparathyroid disease on the basis of its symptoms.

Abstract

The impact of food package assistance and direct cash assistance on the survival of people who are classified as incapable. The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze basic food assistance that has an influence on the survival of underprivileged communities. The results of the research on basic food assistance are very influential, so in this case the local government should increase basic food assistance appropriately, considering the survival of residents who are underprivileged and can no longer earn money to finance their lives. Based on the assessment of such criteria, decision makers are faced with difficult problems and tend to rely on subjectivity. In this study, a system was produced that adapts the Moora method.
