Abstract

Pencampuran adalah tahap penting dalam bidang industri untuk mencapai homogenitas bahan demi produksi yang konsisten dan berkualitas. Penelitian ini menganalisis tentang pengaruh kecepatan pengaduk single dan kecepatan translasi pada mesin pencampur terhadap homogenitas pencampuran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah pengoptimalan mesin pencampur dengan melihat kehomogenan pencampuran dari parameter kecepatan pengaduk single dan kecepatan translasi untuk mempercepat dan meningkatkan kualitas pencampuran. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan variasi kecepatan pengaduk single 30, 45, 60 rpm dengan kecepatan translasi 12, 16 dan 20 mm/s. Hasil penelitian ini adalah tingkat homogenitas pencampuran paling tinggi pada kecepatan pengaduk single 60 rpm dan kecepatan translasi 12 mm/s dengan nilai koefisien variasi (CV) sebesar 2,48%. Sedangkan tingkat homogenitas pencampuran paling rendah pada kecepatan pengaduk single 30 rpm dan kecepatan translasi 12 mm/s dengan nilai koefisien variasi (CV) sebesar 39,09%. Bahwa semakin tinggi kecepatan pengadukan dengan kecepatan translasi yang rendah dapat memperbanyak bidang kontak yang terjadi selama pengadukan.
