Abstract

This study aims to determine hyperreality in gaming phenomenon Pokemon Go. To find out more about how to influence the use of augmented reality technology in a Pokemon game Go and also the standpoint of game players who shared Pokemon Go. This research approach uses qualitative research methods approach is the approach used to explain and describe the phenomenon - a phenomenon that occurs with the paradigm of phenomenology. Data collection techniques used were observation and in-depth interviews. Data were analysed using the method of transcendental Husserl's phenomenological approach that consists of objects (objects/phenomena), the deliberate, noema, noesis, intersubjective, intuition, and also meaning/essence of the object. Results from this study showed that hyperreality contained on the gaming phenomenon Pokemon Go is where players game Pokemon Go feel in your own world where there are a lot of monsters - monsters Pokemon as well as the arena - playing field as pokestop and also a gym and the players at will conduct their activities in their game world, where meanings, signs, code is no longer valid. Abstract

The image is a crucial thing for a victory to compete for the people's sympathy in the election to the Region. Therefore, every candidate head of the region should be able to image himself through his campaign strategy positively. The campaign teams of each candidate's head will try to create a positive self-image of the candidate pair in the eyes of the community because positive self-image and achievement of the candidate of the head of a region have big influence for the novice voters in making their choice. The figure of Tri Rismaharini becomes interesting to be discussed in the research because Risma became the first woman to be elected directly to the mayor through the election of regional heads throughout the history of Indonesian democracy in the reform era and was the first female chairman of the region in Indonesia who repeatedly included in the list of world's best leaders Tri Rismaharini . The purpose of this research is to know the brand image Tri Rismaharini in Pilkada simultaneously in 2015 in Jawa Pos edition of October - December 2015. The approach of this research is descriptive qualitative which gives in-depth and detailed understanding related to a social event or phenomenon.The unit analysis in research These are all the news elements of a news text, namely: title, news lead, body/news content, cover, and photo/graphics. The results of this study show that the Java Pos media edition of October - December 2015 depict image of Tri Rismaharini as a simple and honest figure, a figure who has a high social awareness, a controversy figure associated with the case of Pasar Turi Baru, Arek Suroboyo figure who Will be the winner in Surabaya Mayor election 2015-2020 period. Abstract

The family is a small group of people where a human being starts learning to socialize with other human beings, in families there are levels ranging from grandparents, fathers, to grandchildren. All humans in this world need a family and must have family since birth, not least Italian mafia. The Italian Mafia is an organization based on kinship and the head of the family in the mafia as well as the head of the organization. Italy has a great variety of cultures, especially about families, in the Italian family culture is something that should take precedence over anything else. Talking about the mafia is certainly a lot of movies that make stories based on the story of the mafia, one of which is the movie The Godfather by Francis Ford Coppola which is lifted from the novel by Mario Puzo. In the 1970s this film includes a film that topped the box office in the world until defeated by The Shawsank Redemption. We can see how the mafia treats the family and how the family system in the mafia has been the question of many people, the most important is how we can know the meaning of families in the Italian mafia through this article. This research uses descriptive qualitative research method with semiotic approach according to John Fiske, the researcher will analyze scene per scene in The Godfather movie to know how the meaning of family in Italian mafia. Abstract

After 1999, Indonesia's Media became grown up. It is the implication of the fallen of the authoritarian regime, Suharto. The growth has another side effect about trends of media conglomeration. Indonesian Media Conglomerate such as Tanoesoedibjo, Tandjung, Paloh and Bakrie also have the background as a politician. Mass media are an efficient tool to change the mind of people. Mass society theory makes several basic assumptions about individuals, the role of media, and the nature of social change. Media owner used their media for preserving his political influences. Facing this situation, Indonesian regulation about media ownership ignored by media owners. They used their power in the political area to get away from the regulation. Whereas, in Indonesian Law Number 32, issued on 2002 about Broadcasting Media, Especially on Chapter 36 verse 4 states, "broadcast content must be maintained neutrality and should not put the interests of a group". Many complain from the media audience, but no action from the government. The regulator doesn't enforce the law, especially at Broadcast Media. Most of the press uses the public sphere, who design for democratisation process, not for individual or political party's interest. Keywords: media conglomeration, Indonesia, Politics

Abstract

The haze disaster that have been devastating many regions in Indonesia from July to October 2015, was stated as national tragedy by the Government. As a consequence, there were many cases of public health deterioration.There were many efforts done to tackle this crisis due to provision of public information. In a contrary, there were also many angry public statements and dissatisfaction. This paper will scrutinize the content of using social media, particularly twitter, as various channels and mediums employed in order to cast overwhelming information to public. This is because social media pervasively and easily gets through to wide range of public. It has a high promptness and simplicity in stating effective messaging. The observation conducted through collecting data during the haze have been occuring since July until October 2015. Furthermore, the research will pore over public communication that commited by the National Disaster and Mitigation Guard, Non Government Organization and Mass Media. More over, the research is part of risk and crisis communication in overcoming the mitigation of haze disaster and due to public health. The outcome will be able to contribute to figure out the tendency of risk and crisis communication patterns in Indonesia. Finally, the conclusion leads to the relevancy of connectivity amid society, state and capitalists in public communication. Keywords: risk and crisis communication, haze disaster, social media.
