Abstract

 The purpose of this research is to know how newspaper Jawa Pos and Daily Surya in framing Persebaya Club Coverage after PSSI congress dated November 10, 2016, which void to acknowledge Persebaya status. Data collection techniques that researchers use in this study is Documentation. In this case the documented data is in the form of a collection of news texts from both the Surya and Jawa Pos newspapers dated 11 - 17 November 2016, Observation. This method is used to observe news related to Club News Persebaya After PSSI Congress. So the data observations conducted by the authors are daily newspaper Harian Surya and Jawa Pos, Data Classification. Based on the model of Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M.Kosicki, this research clarifies the facts based on a framing device that includes four large structures, which include syntactic, script, thematic, and rhetorical structures. Based on the result of research, show that both media of Jawa Pos and Harian Surya in telling news different from each other. Abstract

 The aim of this study is understanding the meaning of transgender within Einar Wegener's character in The Danish Girl. Descriptive Qualitative is used for the technique of data gathering in this study which is with observation and data documentation. The researcher takes scenes those contain transgenderism meaning. In this study, the researcher uses semiotics by John Fiske through 3 levels, which are: reality, representation, and ideology that showing the change before, during, and after. Abstract

This research is based on Indian drama in ANTV toward housewifes imitation behavioral in Kedung Baruk district at Surabaya city. The purpose of this research is to know how much impact of imitation behavioral that shown by housewifes in Kedung baruk district at Surabaya city. This research is using quantitative with correlation approach, which this correlation analysis approach is used for knowing the connection between one variable with the other variables. Abstract

This study aims to find out what kind of tokopedia marketing model to attract students of Dr.Soetomo University, Surabaya, this study discusses online shop in tokopedia and online shopping patterns, and follow the modern era, a research approach that uses social change theory and consumption approach qualitative with descriptive method, data collecting technique is done by documentation, in-depth interview, observation, and search of field data. Informant researchers as many as 6 people taken from the most important person from each faculty of the university. Soetomo Surabaya and I take the average chairman of BEM and BEM representatives of each faculty and also actively follow the organization in the University of Dr Soetomo Surabaya.tujuan this research To find out how and what the marketing of tokopedia that can make the students of Universitas Dr. Soetomo can be interested in tokopedia. Based on what I studied from their students interested in tokopedia compared with other online shop, Tokopedia began to develop the transaction model that is by doing cooperation with merchant merchants like alfamart and indomart and many more. In addition to the many promos made tokopedia and merchant merchants are making their own advantages for the merchant entrepreneurs who have worked with tokopedia. Another reason that is also expressed by users of tokopedia especially university students. Soetomo Surabaya. According to some of them consider tokopedia as the only pioneer online shop. In addition, according to them tokopedia still put quality of the goods they sell. The conclusion of this study differences in traditional shopping patterns through barter and modern shopping patterns are very much different due to the development of the era and highly sophisticated technology in this era of the year, the increase in technology will make the people happy with how they shop very easy and affordable.Keywords: shopping needed, online shopping, tokopedia

Abstract

One of the political religious organizations whose influence is strong enough is Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia with Islamic Political Discourse Khilafah Islamiyah. The political discourse adopted by Hizb ut-Tahrir certainly reap the controversy in Indonesia whose status is the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia which is based on the ideology of Pancasila. Various efforts were made by Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia to enforce its political discourse to penetrate mass communication media such as magazines, tabloids and weekly bulletins. The construction of news in such a way is also always in the sequence as interesting and sepersuasif possible as to influence its readers. Critical discourse analysis is a model of media text analysis that will construct how a medium writes its message, through critical discourse analysis to know the purpose of writing the news. Abstract

In the current era of information globalization, Indonesia is enlivened by the presence of several private television stations such as ANTV, INDOSIAR, TRANSTV, MNC TV, RCTI, SCTV, GLOBAL TV, TV ONE, TRANS 7, METRO TV. All of these private televisions are trying to attract as many viewers as possible and can occupy the highest portion. Street children's soap operas that aired on RCTI succeeded in sucking the public's attention, not least the citizens of Surabaya. That's why television is very big influence in changing the behavior of the audience. Imitation is the first level of apparent influence, in which viewers see repeatedly the behavior of their idol figures and tend to mimic those behaviors. This is understandable because one of the developmental behaviors of a person is generated from their more mature examples, parents, family, teachers, even other people who become idols. They often witnessed the soap opera starring Stefan William and Nathasa Wilona whose name is now starting to stick out. The emergence of imitation behavior in adolescents is not "solely caused by television, but also related to the role of the family. Based on the above mentioned background, the purpose of the research is to know the relationship of Intensity watching Impressions of Street Children Sinetron Against Imitation Behavior at Junior High School Students of 24th Grade VIII Surabaya. This study uses descriptive quantitative, this study the authors use survey research methods. This research is classified in explanative type of research, the sample is 150 students, total sampling technique. Analytical techniques used using multiple linear regression, t test and correlation.Keywords: watch intensity, and imitation behavior

Abstract

This study aims to analyze what measures Indonesian Press Council - East Java branch takes to improve its members' professionalism through UKW. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research approach using case-study method to answer the problem formulation. The result of this study shows that there is a correlation between UKW and professionalism of journalists who have taken the test. Although in its implementation, improvement and evaluation should continually be performed to acquire higher quality results. However, UKW might at least be a "damper" for journalists for not violating journalistic ethical codes. This has been proven in the last five years. Indeed, PWI-East Java branch has rarely received complaints from citizens on violation by its members. Keywords: Journalist Competency Test, Professionalism, Press Freedom.

Abstract

This research is to know the effect from Anak Jalanan sinetron in RCTI against aggressive behavior from student of Muhammadiyah 6th Junior High School Surabaya. Especially the problem on television shows is “Anak Jalanan” which is had to many fans from Indonesia person for this time. No exception the students from Muhammadiyah 6th Junior High School Surabaya. The impressions seem to have ceased to provide positive benefits to the community, which often features battle scenes between other motor groups, then they always shown another scenes with arrogan, sly, and cruel character. This thing of course can change their behavioural effect like a bad bahavioural, it shown by behave to see bad sinetron. This research uses Spearman’s correlation coefficient data analysis technique. As for measuring instrument in research of independent variable (x), Namely the concept of impressions or exposure to Anak Jalanan’s sinetron violence, and for find the effect use SOR theory. While the measuring instrument on the dependent variable (Y) is using Youth Aggressiveness to study problems in adolescents, as well as procedures in certain societies and situations including relationships, activities, attitudes, views and ongoing processes and the effects of a phenomenon including the Anak Jalanan’s Show. Abstract

This research is concerned with the objectification of women in the television advertisement. I employ qualitative methodology (critical discourse analysis) to highlight how sexist media construct objectified images of feminine. This research analyzes the content of television advertisements from Axe fragnance in Indonesia and the U.S to know how beauty is encoded in terms of sexual portrayal. These findings suggest that beauty in the western perspective, may be constructed more in terms of the body. This study also discusses how feminist critiques of the sexual objectification of women in advertising may need to be considered within Eastern perspective. I argue that the image of an ideal woman, as presented in advertisements of Axe fragrance, relegates women to objects of desire, leisure and sex.
