Abstract

Too much activity and work tend to make us forget to rest. Tea has been known for generations for its antioxidant content and relaxation properties. A study in Taiwan with 80 postnatal women suffering from sleep deprivation shows that the consumption of Chamomile flower tea may help increase the quality of sleep and reduce the symptoms of depression. Human adults need at least 7 hours of quality sleep. If we fulfill the amount of sleep our body needs, we may notice less wrinkles, obscured dark circles, denser hair, healthier appearance, and even improves the absorption of product by our system. Beautea offers flower tea that may help women relax and achieve their true beauty potential. The purpose of this journal is to develop and research the product “Beautea” to understand public’s awareness about flower tea and plan on strategy that matches the product. The research is done by observing marketing strategy of similar businesses to understand the interest of target audience towards the offered products. This journal is supported by field data as primary source and references as secondary sources such as books and journals which undergo observations, expert and extreme user interviews, and online and offline questioner.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the potential of knowing tofu nuggets as a new variant of snacks in Surabaya. The research will be held in Surabaya and will begin on Tuesday 1 October 2019 until Wednesday 16 October 2019. Using a form of queationnaire that distributed online as the Quantitative method, an interviews as the qualitative methods and literature studies. This research involved 3 expert users and 3 extreme users as interviewees, 25 respondents of the target market that have tasted Tahuk! and 25 prospective target market respondents who have not tasted Tahuk!. The results of this study can be concluded that 88% of the respondents who have tasted Tahuk! gives a score of 8 and above. This is corroborated by statements from interviewees from extpert users and extreme users who say that there is no problem in terms of taste.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the responses of potential customers in Surabaya to Accessories product made from Air-Dry-Clay dan Resin. The research method used is a Quantitative method by conducting questionnaires to 58 respondents and Qualitative methods to 5 Expert users, 3 Extreme users, online observing to 3 competitors, as well as literature and journal studies that can support this research. The result of the research can prove the fact that all women in Surabaya can use accessories they like. It is hoped that, this will require accessories that can be used by all age groups. Is an Air-Dry-Clay and Resin Accessories that can show the uniqueness with the pattern-play, shapes, and attractive color.

Abstract

In recent time, the trend and the people’s interests in home decor products are growing rapidly. So now, home decor products should have more added value, so it can be more attractive to the customers.The objective of this study is to determine the value and the uniqueness about the plaster air freshener as the home decor products. There are two methods of this study such as qualitative and quantitative methods. The activities we did to do the qualitative methods are by interviewing the experts and the end-users (expert user and extreme user), and also a literature study from books and journals. However, the activities that will be done for doing quantitative methods in this study are by taking an online questioner to 50 target markets who are interested in home decors and fragrances. The result of this study indicates that the usefulness and design uniqueness of a product play important role in affecting home decor product purchase decision especially plaster air freshener.

Abstract

The art of digital painting has a function as a form of visual representation from ideas and design that has been made by the artist. Nowadays, digital painting still be considered by the people as a visual art only used as an entertainment needed such as novel cover, Trading Card Game, animation, and others. Even tough, the definition of art can be used as a visual means that visualizing ideas and impression from the artist and from other people, apart from its needed for entertainment industry only. The purpose of this research is to find the effect of digital painting art as a visual brand of businesses from many industries to deliver the ideas, impression, and experiences from the brand to target market. Qualitative research methods are done by interviewing expert users and partners or extreme users, supported by doing observation to competitors and literation studies. The result of this research is digital painting can be implemented in any form, from merchandise as a brand’s promotion tools, to visual form like mascot, second element, or Intellectual Property.

Abstract

This study aims to design customized children picture books that has personal value and can be gifted to children. The research method used is a mixed method of quantitative and qualitative. Primary data collection is done by observing competitors, interviewing and distributing online questionnaires to target markets, while secondary data collection uses literature studies. From this research, it is known that story books that are of interest to the market is one which contain educational content and has simple but interesting visual. Recommendations that can be given are to build brands and introduce products to wider market, as well as co-creation with parents and children who are the target market and users.

Abstract

Indonesia's rapid economic growth makes the emergence of many startup businesses. The development of the business makes competition in the business more tight. Many brands are competing to create a unique and attractive promotion so that their businesses can survive in the industry. The digital era has made it even easier for brands to promote their goods so that they reach the eyes and ears of audiences. This study aims to determine the importance of using video media as a primary promotional tool for the Surabaya brand. The research method used was a qualitative method with interviews and questionnaires. The results showed that Instagram video media greatly boosted the company's overall income.
