Abstract

This research explores the impacts resulting from severe breaches of ethical codes in the decisions of the Constitutional Court that have led to a drastic decline in public trust. This decline is considered a significant barrier to the progress and sustainability of Indonesia’s constitution in the future. These impacts not only affect the constitutional system but also permeate specific elements within society. It is a serious issue that can damage the integrity of the Constitutional Court, an institution that should uphold honesty and transparency in carrying out its duties and authorities. The Constitutional Court, which should be a fully trustworthy institution, is now perceived to have tarnished its image. Various new perspectives have emerged, measuring the breakdown of integrity within the Constitutional Court. The diminishing trust of the public signifies a wavering authority and independence of this institution. There have been numerous actions by the public showing signs of disappointment and regret towards the Constitutional Court. This calls for a comprehensive evaluation to eradicate the roots that have damaged the core of this institution. Such efforts need to be undertaken by all layers of society, accompanied by contributions and sacrifices, to safeguard and oversee that our constitution remains unharmed and leads to a better and sustainable constitutional future.Constitutional Court, severe breaches, drastic decline

Sexual harassment cases are common cases that occur not only in Indonesia but also in the world. Cases of sexual harassment also often receive the attention of the public, state officials, and the law. Even though there is a legal framework in Indonesia, low incident reporting is still a challenge. This highlights the need for a comprehensive understanding of the cultural nuances that shape perceptions and responses to such behavior. Cases of sexual harassment do not only happen to women but also to men. Those who became victims also came from various ages, from toddlers to even the elderly. This abstract will focus on the aims of why we need to minimize cases of sexual harassment in IndonesiaLegal framework; Indonesia; Sexual Harassment; Social-Culture Society.

Abstract

Corruption is an attempt to intervene using abilities obtained from a position including information, decisions, influence, money, and/or wealth for the benefit and benefit of thinking for oneself. Social assistance is the assistance in the form of money and/or goods to individuals, families, groups, and/or communities which is not continuous and selective to protect against the possibility of social risks. Social assistance funding should be distributed to those who need it. However, some irresponsible parties took the money only for their interests. The legal problems we found here are 1) the social assistance fund was later found to be corrupted by the government, and 2) the legal enforcement from the KPK was not bold enough to resolve the case. The case of corruption in social assistance funds (bansos) for handling the COVID-19 pandemic involving state officials has caused public unrest and disappointment. This research aims to analyze the factors behind the occurrence of corruption, its impact on the economy and community welfare, as well as legal efforts and prevention or solutions.Keywords: Corruption; Corruption Eradication Committee; Legal Enforcement; Social Assistance;

Abstract

Indonesia's population is made up of 27.94% members of Generation Z, which comprises those born between 1997 and 2012, according to a 2020 Central Statistics Agency (BPS) poll. Considering that this generation grew up with the rise of social media and technology, there are serious concerns about how involved they are in democracy and the judicial system. This article highlights the critical role that Generation Z is playing in developing a new paradigm for a more responsive legal system and dynamic democracy, especially through social media, which they have grown to rely on. With their technological prowess, Generation Z makes use of social media platforms as tools to voice political views, mobilize collective action, and disseminate up-to-date information. Their activism enriches democratic dialogue, creating space for more inclusive voices. Social media is also a channel for building legal awareness, with discussions on regulations and human rights. In conclusion, the basis for constructive change is laid by Generation Z's involvement in democracy and their interaction with the legal system via social media. They are using technology to alter Indonesia's political and judicial processes, as well as to create lively forums for discussion.Keywords: Generation Z; Democracy and Legal System; Social Media.
