Abstract

The independent campus is one of the programs from the policy of the ministry of education and culture that has been approved by the president to motivate students to improve their abilities by participating in learning activities carried out for one or up to three semesters according to interests outside the study program or college, where students follow the lesson. However, in the selection of student exchanges in support of independent campuses, there are often problems, namely the student section is confused in determining it because of the large amount of data that does not meet the criteria but has already registered. So in this study, a decision support system is needed as a system for determining eligible students in an independent campus exchange. As for the selection of student exchanges in supporting an independent campus, there are five criteria including GPA, non-academic achievements, skills, ethics and academic sanctions. So with this, a decision support system is urgently needed to solve problems using the ROC (Rank Order Centroid) and OCRA (Operational Competitiveness Rating Analysis) methods which will produce weight values ​​for each criterion and preference values ​​from the first ranking alternative. So that the chosen one in the selection of the independent campus student exchange is Alternative A1, namely Tasya Salsabilla with a value of 1,071.

Abstract

The need for public Wi-Fi installations is increasing with the aim of being able to meet the needs of the community in accessing the internet for free in public places. Thus, the Deli Serdang Regency Government through the Deli Serdang Regency KominfoStan Service installs a public Wi-Fi network with a limited budget every year. In determining the location of the public Wi-Fi installation, there are many public places, so that the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology is hesitant to determine the right location for the installation of public Wi-Fi. Decision Support System is applied in this study as a system for determining the location of public Wi-Fi installations. In determining the location of the right public Wi-Fi installation, it must meet criteria such as Distance, Accessibility, Economy, Crowd, and Facilities. Therefore, a Decision Support System (DSS) is needed in solving existing problems by applying the MABAC (Multi-Attributive Border Approximation area Comparison) method which can generate preference values from the first ranked alternative. So that the location for the installation of Public Wi-Fi is located on the A4 alternative, namely the Sultan Thaf Grand Mosque with a value of 0.480.

Abstract

PT. BOBA BAHAGIA MEDAN or known as XING FU TANG is an outlet that sells BOBA drinks, after the success of its first grand opening in 2018 last year at Lippo Plaza Mall Medan. Now it has several outlets in Medan Malls, one of which is at Center Point Mall Medan. With sales that can be said to be quite busy at one of the outlets in Center Point Mall Medan. Of course it is very interesting to do research with the title "Predicting BOBA Production at XING FU TANG CENTER POINT MEDAN Using the Fuzzy Mamdani Method". Having a problem formulation such as in determining the amount of Boba production in accordance with sales every day. The purpose of this study is to find out how the predictions for producing boba are in accordance with sales and existing stock of goods, so that there is no overstock of boba. This study uses the library method, observation and direct interviews with the management of Xing Fu Tang Center Point Mall Medan. The existing data sources were obtained directly from the company where the research was conducted. And the data was analyzed using the Mamdani Decision Support System and Fuzzy Method. The theoretical basis used in this study is to describe theories related to Decision Support Systems and the Mamdani Fuzzy Method. From the research conducted, it can be concluded that Xing Fu Tang Center Point Mall Medan is very concerned about producing Boba so that there are no mistakes and excess stock which can be very influential for the company, because Boba that has been produced must be sold immediately and cannot stay overnight because it will affect the taste. the taste of boba itself and the fatal thing is that it can cause losses to the company

Abstract

he development of technology is currently increasing significantly and has become a dependent tool for humans around the world because the role of technology can help solve problems that are difficult for humans to solve. One form of positive role from technological developments is to detect the edges of digital images. Indonesia is one of the countries with the highest potential for earthquakes in the world, the cause of Indonesia is earthquake prone because it has many volcanoes not only from the Pacific Ring of Fire. There is still the Alpide Belt which is the most active earthquake pathway in the world, which is also influenced by the occurrence of earthquakes in Indonesia. In addition, there are also piles of three continental plates, namely the Indonesia-Australia plate from the south, Eurasia from the north, and the Pacific plate from the east which adds to the hustle and bustle of the geological structure in this country. Therefore, the need for information but detecting the boundaries of the earthquake area is very much needed to be able to minimize the negative impacts that occur, especially casualties, so far this information is still lacking

Abstract

Changes in the shape of the waterfront greatly impact the tourism business, which causes a reduction in domestic and foreign visitors to visit. One way to make it easier to obtain information about changes in the shoreline is to utilize the information contained in a coastal image. Edge detection is the first step of image segmentation to obtain information in an image. The edge contains from points that have a difference with the others. This study describes how to apply the Marr-Hilderth Operator method to detect image edges. Edge detection is the initial process to obtain information in images and characterize object boundaries, then edges can be used in the process of segmentation and identification of objects in images. The benefit of the detection of coastal boundaries is carried out to provide information to tourist area entrepreneurs regarding changes in the shape of the beach, so that the effects can be minimized as early as possible and make it easier for tourism object managers to obtain information about changes in the shape of the beach.
