Abstract

One of the strategies for resolving non-performing loans carried out by banks is by way of cessie, which transfers all rights and obligations of the old Creditor over the debtor to the new Creditor. However, banking institutions that have a strategic role in supporting the implementation of national economic development will not be separated from the problem of bad credit, which can one day lead to disputes in social life. The research method in this research is normative juridical and descriptive analysis. The research was conducted with a statutory and case approach. The data collection technique is done by literature and field studies. As in decision Number 18/Pdt.G/2017/Pnkwg, the results of this research are the Arrangement of Settlement of Bad Credit Banking through the Transfer of Receivables Collection Rights (Cessie) which is regulated in Article 613 of the Civil Code and The form of dispute is known that the Defendant has defaulted on his obligations which are used as an analysis of the judge's considerations and decisions related to the problematic transfer of receivables collection rights through cessie in the judicial process.

Abstract

The hazardous heavy metal lead (Pb) can infiltrate the human body through the food chain. This study aimed to determine the maximum allowed amount of lead (Pb) and the lead heavy metal content in the meat of kapah clams (Meretrix lyrata) from Pantai Labu, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province. This study used stratified random sampling in three locations: Bagan Beach, Muara Serdang, and Putra Deli. Heavy metal lead (Pb) measurements were conducted using the Parkin Elmer Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS) method with an Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer. Maximum Tolerable Intake (MTI) or Maximum Weekly Intake (MWI) is divided by the amount of heavy metal lead (Pb) in Kapah Clam meat (Meretrix lyrata) to determine the permissible consumption limit. As a result, exceeding the MTI limit can lead to toxicity.

Abstract

Mangroves are subtropical and warm temperate intertidal ecosystems that sustain the well-being of humans and wildlife through a variety of services. However, the existence of mangroves is presently threatened by alterations in land use. From 2010 to 2022, mangrove areas in Pasar Rawa Village, Gebang District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra province have decreased significantly. The destruction of mangrove forests is primarily caused by the neighboring community's activities. The purpose of this study was to assess the level of damage and density of mangroves in Pasar Rawa Village, as well as to examine the perceptions of locals regarding the management of mangrove ecosystems. The investigation was carried out from January to March 2023 by distributing the questionnaires to the 286 respondents. Based on the vegetation analysis and indexing vegetation analysis through Landsat 7 and Landsat 8 image processing, the amount of mangrove areas in Pasar Rawa Village decreased by 52.97 ha between 2010 and 2022, with the majority of mangrove areas being converted into oil palm plantations and fish farming ponds. It is dominated by the dense class of the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) in 2022, despite the condition of the mangroves in Pasar Rawa Village still being classified as damaged during this recovery process. In addition, the outcome of public perception demonstrates that the management of the mangrove ecosystem is suitable and supports the capacity to create a sustainable mangrove ecosystem.

Abstract

Industry 4.0 has shifted business processes from traditional to digital systems and forced companies to take strategic steps to become more sustainable, one of which is e-commerce technology. A key element in getting consumers to accept and be interested in using e-commerce is the availability of a user-friendly e-commerce platform. This study intended to examine how the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) theory's application analyzes consumer acceptability and adoption of the e-commerce website. The number of users that have completed transactions on the e-commerce (Plantage.id) website between January 2021 and August 2022 serves as the population and sample in this causal quantitative study. SEM-PLS, using the software SmartPLS, is used for data analysis. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between a significant relationship website; meanwhile, the influence of perceived ease of use on attitude towards using, perceived usefulness on behavioral intention, and attitude towards using on behavioral intention showed insignificant effects. The results of this study align with the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) theory, which states that the perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness are the main factors that are important for users in determining the acceptance and actual usage of a new information technology system such as e-commerce. The higher these two factors, the greater the chance consumers can accept and use the systems.
