Abstract

Silage is fermented feed in an ordinary silo or plastic container with an anaerobic process. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the feeding of terubuk silage with green grass on the increase in the weight of cattle in Purabaya District, Sukabumi Regency. The study was carried out as a follow-up to the results of testing in the laboratory. This study used two PO female cows (Ongole breed) or Java cattle aged 6 months and 9 months, which were fed twice a day in the form of crushed silage and were not given any other additional feed. The stages of applied research include the experimental stage or making crushed silage and observation of recording data in the form of recording the growth of cattle weight per week before and after being fed crushed silage. The initial body weight of the cow is the benchmark for this study. The results of the study showed that the feed treated with the most terubuk silage had a better effect on increasing the weight of the cows compared to green grass. Cattle weight has increased to a maximum of 6.15 kg per week or 0.9 kg per day.

Abstract

Sukabumi Regency offered a very charming natural that attracted the eyes of tourists. Due to Sukabumi District's vast natural resources, local people recognised the term GURILAPS which stands for Mountain, Jungle, Sea, Beach and River. In addition, there are many popular natural resource-based tourism sites in Sukabumi District, especially Region 7 which consists of several sub-districts; Pabuaran, Sagaranten, Curug Kembar, Cidadap, Tegal Buled, and Cidolog which can be potential as tourism sites. However, these abundant natural resources have not been fully managed. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the tourism potential of Sukabumi District. The method used was descriptive analysis. The results of the identification can be concluded that Sukabumi Regency has abundant resources, both natural and socio-cultural resources that can be used as tourism and have the potential to be developed.

Abstract

Identification of institutional potential is the first step to determine the condition and activities of institutions in Sukabumi District, especially in Region 7, namely Tegalbuleud, Cidadap, Cidolog, Sagaranten, Curugkembar, and Pabuaran. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The data obtained is secondary data. The purpose of this research is to identify the potential of institutions in Sukabumi district. The result of this research is that in Sukabumi district there are two types of institutions, namely agricultural institutions and financial institutions. These types of institutions have an active status. So, based on the identification results, it can be concluded that activity and strengthening are factors that need to be developed. Because institutions can be one of the potential instruments that play a role in the process of regional development in Sukabumi District.
