Abstract

This study describes 3 types of Islamic religious leader. The first is a aperson who knows  Allah with all His orders. The second is a person who knows Allah but do not know His orders. And the third is a person who knows Allah but do not know Allah at all. A person who is really afraid of Allah is ones who knows Allah with all His orders and prohibitions. In line with famous Islamic religious leaders in South Tapanuli, the writer only describes two well-known people namely Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad and SyekhMusatafaHusein who built MustafawiyahPurbaBaru Islamic Centre School.

Abstract

As a pillar of Islam, zakat is the economic foundation of moslems. The distributionof zakat for productive activities has certainly brought positive impacts on thenational development. Also, zakat has been the main capital of the lower economicsociety. In the Islamic economic discussion, zakat promotes the justice valuesfocusing on the micro economy. As the social instrument, zakat plays an importantrole in the moral and social-based economic development. As Mannan points outthat zakat is built upon the five principles namely faith, productivity, logicalreasoning, easiness, and truth. This writing reveals the role of zakat in the historyand its contribution for ritual worship as well as the moslem’s prosperity,particularly for the mustahiq, those who receive the zakat.The question remains is whether zakat is believed as the asset of socio-economicgrowth or as a mere Islamic ritual. Another question is about the management ofzakat which should be productive rather than consumptive. This writing deals withthe discussion of zakat as an Islamic ritual which is inherent with socio-economiccontext. This writing uses the comparative approach between normative principles(al-Qur’an and Hadits) and its socio historical implication.

Abstract

Based on the constitution, basically everyone has right to accept heir as stated in the regulation or wills. It means that no one comes into the world without right to accept heir. The chance to accept heir is automatically accepted by the heir firmly even secretly to get the property itself. But the other hand, the fact is different. Some people try to reject the heir. The cause is not really clear explained. But there must be something wrong or serious problem happen, so that someone think hard and consider investigating the property before accepting it. The rejection is set in the regulation which explains about the rejection. All these problems need to be discussed to understand civil inheritance law deeply..
